Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 1463: Chapter 796: The Women Inside the Sea Shell

“We’re out, I’m out!”

“Hu Wei, what trick are you trying to pull this time?”

“Where’s Hu Wei? Come out!”

“You bastard Hu, even if you kill me I still won’t give in to you!”

In the crowd, many women’s faces were ugly as they all shouted angrily, their eyes sweeping around, as if searching for Hu Wei’s figure.

Quite a few people also noticed Liang Yuan’s presence, and immediately each of them showed a wary look.

Shi Haizhu and the other two looked up; they had also been full of vigilance at first, but the moment they saw Liang Yuan, they were stunned, then subconsciously stepped back half a step.

Because in his half-human half-ape state, Liang Yuan was far too different from before.

So much so that the three of them hadn’t recognized him at first glance.

Liang Yuan spoke in a deep voice: “Hu Wei is dead. You’ve now regained your freedom.”

“Zhuzi, Zhan Peng, Zhou Haoran, do you three know these women?”

Liang Yuan looked at Shi Haizhu and the other two.

Shi Haizhu suddenly raised his head and said in shock, “Y-you’re Mr. Liang?”

Beside him, Cheng Zhanpeng was also startled: “Mr. Liang, how did you become like this?”

Zhou Haoran, however, reacted; he had a Soul Imprisonment Rune planted in him. After carefully sensing, he felt that the person in front of him was indeed his master, Liang Yuan.

He immediately stepped forward and said respectfully, “Master, these women were all captured by Hu Wei. Among them there are quite a few wives and daughters of Mengya Company’s high-level members. Lustful for beauty, he imprisoned them in Space Equipment for his own pleasure.”

Liang Yuan was slightly taken aback, then couldn’t help but glance at these women.

No wonder these women were all rather good-looking, but the youngest among them seemed to be only thirteen or fourteen. This made Liang Yuan’s face darken.

“That beast, he even grabbed such young children?”

Zhou Haoran said in a low voice, “Master, Hu Wei’s life-or-death level lust, he learned it from Mengya Company’s leader Jin Shirong. Hu Wei at least only secretly grabbed people and hid them in Space Equipment to play around, a kind of golden house to keep one’s mistress.”

“But Jin Shirong actually built a Floating Island in Yu Province. He turned that island into a massive harem, and all the women on it are his sex slaves, there for him to enjoy and toy with as he pleases.”

Liang Yuan couldn’t help but be surprised: “A dignified leader of a major faction actually does something like this? The people below him have no objections?”

Zhou Haoran smiled bitterly: “Who would dare have objections? Jin Shirong is high above everyone. These people are already lucky just to have a place to live. Some even can’t wait to send their own wives and daughters up to the Floating Island in order to curry favor with those at the top.”

“In Mengya, women are the most useless things. Women are just a ladder for everyone to use to connect with the powerful.”

“People who still care about family ties generally won’t go to Mengya. They choose Carey Technology Company instead, or the Divine Country in northern Yu Province.”

Liang Yuan hadn’t expected the inside of this Mengya Company to be like this.

When the upper beam is not straight, the lower ones will be crooked as well. It seemed that what Hu Wei had done was greatly influenced by their leader Jin Shirong.

Liang Yuan glanced at these somewhat dazed women.

At this moment, these women were clustered together, discussing in low voices, occasionally looking over at Liang Yuan’s side with suspicion.

“Hu Wei is dead?”

“Serves him right, serves him right!”

“Really? Is that true? Then, then can I see my husband now? Can I go home?”

“Go home? Do you still have a home? Do your men treat you as family? In this world, there isn’t a single man who’s any good.”

“Wuu wuu, Heaven has eyes, it finally let that beast die.”

“I want to go home, I want to go home.”

“I don’t want to go home, I’m afraid my brother will sell me to Hu Wei again.”

…

Shi Haizhu couldn’t help asking, “Mr. Liang, what should we do with these people?”

Liang Yuan thought for a moment and said, “First arrange for them to stay in the base. Letting them go back is impossible; we’re short on people here.”

“Especially women. Our base already has more men than women. Let them settle down here, and later we’ll see about having them find someone here to live their lives with.”

Hearing this, Shi Haizhu scratched his head and secretly glanced at someone among that group of women.

Liang Yuan gave him a sidelong look and couldn’t help but laugh.

Among this group of his old buddies, Shi Haizhu was one of the few still single.

No idea if he’d taken a fancy to some woman in that group.

Liang Yuan didn’t bother with it and only said, “Zhuzi, I’ll leave this group to you to arrange. Have Old Ma and the others prioritize building dormitory buildings for them. As for supplies, go to the warehouse later and get some.”

Off to the side, Cheng Zhanpeng hurriedly said, “Mr. Liang, among these women, quite a few are Superpower Users, and most of them have already reached the Genetic Species Level. Some are even about to break through to gene recombination.”

Liang Yuan was a bit surprised: “They’re already almost at gene recombination and still got caught to be used as playthings?”

Cheng Zhanpeng said, “Some of them have been trapped in that Sea Shell for three or four months already. Basically, the women inside are led by a handful of them. As long as we convince those few, the other women should all listen. I’ll go call those few over?”

“Mm, have them come over,” Liang Yuan nodded slightly.

Cheng Zhanpeng quickly turned around and walked into the crowd. He walked to the side of a woman nearly 1.7 meters tall, with a tall figure and a cold, sharp gaze, and quickly said a few words.

The woman glanced over at Liang Yuan’s side, thought for a moment, then nodded slightly.

After that, she leaned over and said a few quiet words to two nearby women, then pointed toward Liang Yuan.

The two women looked at Liang Yuan with wary expressions, and finally nodded.

Liang Yuan noticed that of these two women, one was wearing mechanical Armor, with a hot, curvy figure, though her face was full of vigilance.

The other was wearing tight white skinny jeans and a simple white T-shirt on top. Her figure was also excellent, but what really caught the eye was her cold, jade-like fair skin and her heroic, striking features.

The three women came up to Liang Yuan together with Cheng Zhanpeng.

Cheng Zhanpeng said, “Mr. Liang, let me introduce them. This is Yang Bingbing.”

He pointed at the aloof woman who was over one meter seventy.

The woman was wearing a trench coat and black leather pants. Her expression was cold and distant. She gave Liang Yuan a slight nod. “Hello, I’m Yang Bingbing.”

Cheng Zhanpeng then pointed at the woman in mechanical Armor and said, “This is He Yan.”

Right after that, he introduced the woman in the White T-shirt. “This is Ms. Wang Yun.”

Among the three, it was obvious that the one called Wang Yun had a gentler temperament. She took the initiative to reach out her hand and said, “Hello, I’m Wang Yun.”

Liang Yuan shook hands with her and could feel the softness and warmth of her palm.

Liang Yuan said, “Ladies, are you the leaders of this group of people?”

Wang Yun shook her head. “You can’t really call us leaders. It’s just that the sisters trust us more. Whenever something comes up, they let the three of us come out and speak for them.”

Liang Yuan gave a slight nod and said, “Let me briefly explain the current situation. Hu Wei is already dead. All of Mengya’s ships, including the mothership, are now the spoils of war of our Yangshan Shelter.”

“In fact, strictly speaking, that includes you. You’re also our captives.”

Wang Yun quickly said, “We’re not with Hu Wei. We’re victims too.”

Liang Yuan shook his head. “But you were his spoils. Now that he’s dead, you’ve become my spoils.”

Wang Yun’s face changed slightly, turning a bit ugly.

The faces of the other two women also darkened immediately.

Liang Yuan said calmly, “Don’t pull a long face at me. I could kill Hu Wei. Could you?”

The three women fell silent.

Liang Yuan said, “You couldn’t. So you were his captives. I don’t know what happened to you after he imprisoned you, and I have no interest in knowing.”

“If you want Freedom, that’s possible. But that Freedom exists within the sphere of my influence.”

“If you want to leave, that’s also possible. Pay a sufficient price, and I can let you go.”

Yang Bingbing couldn’t help saying, “What’s the point of you keeping us? Don’t tell me you’ve taken a fancy to us too?”

There was a hint of mockery on her face, as if to say, you’re the same kind of scum as Hu Wei.

But Liang Yuan shook his head slightly. “For my Shelter to develop, I need population, especially women.”

“You staying is what aligns with my interests.”

“Of course, I won’t force you to marry anyone. But if you don’t marry, you’ll have to work for me. I need to see your value.”

“Show me your value. If it truly exceeds expectations, I’ll consider letting you go.”

The three women’s expressions shifted between dark and light, but compared to that disgusting Hu Wei, the man before them at least seemed straightforward.

After saying this, Liang Yuan said, “Take them down.”

“Understood.”

Cheng Zhanpeng turned to the three women and spoke a few words to them in a low voice.

The three women frowned, then went to gather with the other women and talked for a while.

After that, all the women were taken out by Shi Haizhu and the others.

Once those women had left, Zhou Haoran finally spoke. “Mr. Liang, among these women, quite a few are relatives and children of Mengya Company’s senior management.”

“The reason Hu Wei hid them inside the Sea Shell Space and didn’t dare let them out directly was precisely because of this.”

“Their identities might play a significant role at some critical point in the future.”

Hearing this, Liang Yuan’s heart stirred. He looked at Zhou Haoran and asked, “You’ve already looked into this?”

“Yes. I know a few of them and have even seen them before. They just don’t know me, that’s all.”

Zhou Haoran could be considered mid-to-high level in Mengya Company. After all, anyone in charge of a base wouldn’t have a low status.

So he had seen many family members of Mengya Company’s senior personnel.

Liang Yuan rubbed his chin. If that was the case, these women might really prove quite useful in the future.

If you want to bring down a power, external factors are one side of it. Undermining them from within is also crucial.

Keeping his expression neutral, Liang Yuan said, “Later, go find out each of their identities and what relatives or friends they have inside Mengya Company.”

“If someone is already married, there’s no need to arrange matchmaking or anything like that for her.”

“Understood.”

“Alright, that’s all. Go get some rest. For now, Flying Manta Island needs its base rebuilt. You’ll all be staying on the mothership for the time being.”

“Yes.”

After Zhou Haoran left, only Liang Yuan remained in the room.

Liang Yuan walked up to the stainless-steel wall and looked at his half-human, half-ape form, shaking his head slightly.

“If I went back looking like this, wouldn’t I scare my son into tears? I’d better go through gene recombination again and restore my face first.”

He immediately activated the forbidden chamber. After this great battle, he hadn’t killed many people, and his Points hadn’t increased much.

So for the upcoming gene recombination, he could only rely on himself.

Fortunately, after taking the Genetic Map Adaptor earlier, he had memorized quite a few familiar genetic nodes.

As long as he followed the steps methodically, he should soon be able to break through the current stage and re-adjust the disordered genes.
