Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 838: Chapter 308: Yangshan Gathering (Part 3)

Liang Yuan laughed, ”The author of these flag designs is among all of you. Whoever designed them, please come up and talk about your design concept.”

”Let’s start with the first one. Who designed the first one?”

Zhu Yuchuan quickly and excitedly said, ”Mr. Liang, I designed it.”

Liang Yuan laughed, ”Then tell us, what did you design?”

Zhu Yuchuan quickly said, ”I designed the Rising Sun Flag.”

He pointed to his designed flag, which was a depiction of the sun rising in the east.

In the upper right corner is a round sun, and below it are wavy lines representing the endless flood.

Amidst the flood, there is a triangular symbol representing Yangshan.

He explained his design concept once, excitedly saying, ”The sun here represents both brightness and the future of Yangshan Shelter.”

”In the future we are sure to overcome the flood disaster and continue living.”

After listening, everyone nodded and applauded, many being moved by his words.

Liang Yuan laughed and said, ”Very thoughtful, everyone make your evaluation in your hearts, come, who designed the second one?”

The second flag depicted a plum blossom, under which was a flood.

The plum blossom was skillfully drawn to resemble both a plum blossom and a cartoon sun.

Just then, Ding Yan stood up, smiling, ”I drew this. I’ve combined the features of the sun and plum blossom to create this Sun Plum Blossom Flag, symbolizing Yangshan and Meishan. The waves below represent the flood, and we, Yangshan and Meishan, will surely overcome this great flood.”

Everyone listened and applauded in approval.

Ding Yan’s work and Zhu Yuchuan’s had their own unique brilliance but added a symbol of Meishan, which was significant for the people of Meishan Village. As they were originally from Meishan Village, they naturally hoped Meishan would also be represented on the flag as part of Yangshan Shelter.

”The author of the third design, please come up and talk.”

Everyone turned to the third flag design.

This flag design featured three prominent peaks, with the peaks on either side being slightly shorter and the middle peak towering, clearly forming the character ’山’ (Mountain).

The three mountains were not connected, separated by a short horizontal line, and below the horizontal line, there was a slight wavy line.

The overall feeling was very simple and very clear.

Then Han Xiangman stood up and said, ”I designed the Mountain Character Flag.”

”Firstly, this mountain character, with its three peaks, doesn’t only represent Yangshan and Meishan, but also the surrounding mountains.”

”I think our Yangshan Shelter will keep growing and become more splendid in the future. The three mountains symbolize not just Yangshan.”

”Additionally, I used a horizontal line to connect the three big mountains, representing our ports and floating bridges. I believe that in the future, in a world flooded with water, ships will be the only means of traversing the flooded land.”

”As ships become widespread, ports will inevitably become the most prosperous places, and any shelter will definitely establish a port by then.”

”As for the wavy line below, I think it’s obvious what it represents.”

”In my design, there is no specific depiction of Yangshan’s Yang character, but it focuses on mountains, water, bridges, and ports. Thank you.”

Han Xiangman sat down, and her design undoubtedly highlighted new significance.

Everyone whispered and discussed incessantly, many feeling that this idea was also excellent.

Next, more people stood up to introduce their flag designs.

Someone used Fire Bamboo as a prototype to design a flag, considering Fire Bamboo extremely important and irreplaceable in the shelter.

Whether it’s for making bowls and chopsticks, water cups and kettles, or building bamboo houses, making bamboo charcoal, feeding bamboo rats, Fire Bamboo is a timeless contribution, worthy of being recorded on the flag.

Another person took inspiration from the Black Gold Giant Ape, designing the Black Gold Giant Ape Banner, believing that the ability of Yangshan Shelter to subdue such high-level mutant beasts symbolizes Yangshan’s immense strength and demonstrates Yangshan’s power.

In short, there were more than a dozen design drawings, each with its own creative ideas and design concepts.

After everyone had spoken, Liang Yuan began to invite everyone to share their opinions freely.

Everyone discussed, and the designs by Zhu Yuchuan, Ding Yan, and Han Xiangman received the most votes.

Liang Yuan gathered everyone’s opinions and finally decided to use Han Xiangman’s Mountain Character Flag as the draft, adding a Rising Sun image at the top of the mountains to depict the sun rising from the water.

With this, the Yangshan Shelter flag was finally settled.

Next, the flag needed to be sewn.

These are later matters; with this agenda concluded, Liang Yuan started the next agenda.

It concerned the matter of the expedition personnel list.

The people Liang Yuan named included two Water Attribute Superpower Users, Han Xiangman, Kong Sheng, Wang Xiaoya.

Close Combat Queen Ding Yan, Spiritual Healer Meng Youyou, Food Supplement Therapist Wang An, Spirit Branding Master Li Yuejin, and Youth Superpower Team members Chang Yan, Ni Qi, and Ma Ji.

Then there are Tu Long, Gao Li, Xia Ming, Luo Hongmian, Li Xiangyang, Zhang Rongrong, Gao Jie, and others.

In addition to these, there were many Strength-type Superpower Users and ordinary people volunteering to join the Firebird expedition.

Among them were many Superpower Users from Meishan Village and personnel still serving in Kangjia Garden.

Liang Yuan selected these people partly to maintain the peace and stability of Yangshan and Meishan.

After all, these people had just joined Yangshan Shelter and were not strongly attached, nor integrated deeply enough.

If remaining in Yangshan Shelter, in case of conflict, these people might form groups and bring unnecessary trouble.

Secondly, Liang Yuan took these people out also to let the people from Meishan Village see how miserable others were living outside.

These people had hidden in Meishan at the beginning of the great flood, not experiencing the miserable situation of survivors trapped in buildings.

Bringing these people out now allows them to see firsthand and thus appreciate this hard-won sanctuary.

On the other hand, Liang Yuan also wanted to use this outing to train these people well, cultivate a sense of unity among them.

The simplest way to cultivate unity is by engaging in battle.

This outing, Liang Yuan didn’t need to guess to know that there would certainly be many battles.

More importantly, with them on the Firebird under Liang Yuan’s command, no matter how disorderly these people were, no mistakes could occur.

With the personnel list settled, the meeting concluded.

Liang Yuan instructed the named personnel to go back and quickly arrange their matters, hand things over to others, and be prepared to depart early the next morning.
