Ancient Dragon Elephant Technique

Chapter 27: Chapter 27 Dark Scorpion

“We finally took down this guy,” Lin Feng lay on the ground, feeling completely drained of strength.

Murong Xue was still in shock; after all, a Martial Artist Realm cultivator actually killed a Martial Master Realm cultivator. It was truly unbelievable.

Lin Feng grinned at Murong Xue, “Didn’t I say we wouldn’t die at this guy’s hands?”

Murong Xue also smiled, trying to stand up as she came to Lin Feng’s side and helped him up.

It wasn’t safe to stay here for long.

…

The two quickly left.

Next, they found a hidden land where Murong Xue tended to her injuries, while Lin Feng contemplated the various mysteries of the Ancient Forbidden Skill. This secret technique was called the Great Sky Concealing Hand; truly terrifying.

After coming out of seclusion, Lin Feng and Murong Xue didn’t encounter anyone from the Soul Devouring Hall. They speculated that Yuwen Yunfeng and others might have already left, so they headed straight for the location of the Yin Yang Realm expert’s cave mansion.

At the base of a cliff, Lin Feng and Murong Xue found the Wuji Cave Mansion. Upon entering, they discovered that this mansion was roughly three to four hundred square meters in size.

Inside the mansion, there were three stone gates, all closed, and opening them revealed no trace of the Wuji Taoist’s corpse.

“Something’s not right. Wuji Taoist’s body is missing, yet many things here haven’t been touched.”

Lin Feng frowned.

Suddenly, Lin Feng sensed a chilling aura enveloping him.

He looked towards the deepest part of the Wuji Cave Mansion, where a large cave seemed to lead to an unknown place.

“Move back quickly, there’s something strange in there.”

Due to practicing the Ancient Dragon Elephant Technique, Lin Feng’s perception was incredibly strong. Vaguely sensing an eerie and murderous aura from the depths of the gigantic cave, he and Murong Xue retreated quickly, only to witness a scene that would be etched in their memories forever.

A massive scorpion lunged out of the cave.

The scorpion was nearly a hundred meters long, with an enormous tail.

Its entire body seemed armored, and it had a pair of huge pincers.

The pincers seemed to be capable of destroying anything with a mere squeeze.

“It’s the Dark Scorpion.”

Lin Feng’s scalp tingled.

The Classic of Mountains and Seas recorded that the Dark Scorpion was one of the largest scorpions, possessing the power to easily destroy mountains and was extremely ferocious. Encounters with it should be avoided at all costs.

Seeing the Dark Scorpion, Lin Feng realized immediately that even with Martial Master Realm cultivation, one couldn’t possibly be its match.

“The Wuji Taoist’s corpse must have been eaten by this Dark Scorpion. That’s why we can’t find his body.”

Lin Feng shouted as he continued to retreat.

Seeing that the Dark Scorpion was about to attack, Lin Feng yelled, “Let’s run out quickly. We need to abandon the inheritance of the Wuji Taoist. There’s no way to defeat this Dark Scorpion.”

But Murong Xue confidently replied, “It’s just a beast. I can kill it with the Ice Divine Needle.”

As she spoke, Murong Xue summoned her two Ice Divine Needles.

Swish, swish…

The Ice Divine Needles flew quickly, aiming to assassinate the Dark Scorpion.

Lin Feng paused, hoping the Ice Divine Needle could pierce the Dark Scorpion’s body.

Clang, clang…

However, when the Ice Divine Needle struck the body of the Dark Scorpion, there was only the sound of metallic clashing.

The Ice Divine Needle couldn’t breach the Dark Scorpion’s defense.

Instead, the two Ice Divine Needles were deflected away by the Dark Scorpion’s hard shell.

Of course, these strikes were not entirely without effect.

The greatest effect was that the Dark Scorpion, in pain, was thoroughly enraged.

The massive tail of the Dark Scorpion lashed toward Lin Feng and Murong Xue fiercely.

With a loud crash, Lin Feng and Murong Xue were knocked away by the Dark Scorpion, their bodies slammed against the rock wall, causing them to spit out blood.

Lin Feng smiled bitterly, “I told you, this thing is not something we can handle.”

Murong Xue also looked very pale.

But now they couldn’t retreat anymore, as the Dark Scorpion had already blocked the exit.

Lin Feng and Murong Xue quickly scrambled to their feet.

“Didn’t you practice Frost Ice Skill? Can’t you freeze this Dark Scorpion?”

Lin Feng asked in a deep voice.

“I’ll give it a try…”

Murong Xue gritted her teeth, rapidly forming hand seals.

“Ice Seal Heaven and Earth.”

As her voice fell, the temperature in the entire cave suddenly plummeted.

A layer of ice unexpectedly appeared on the Dark Scorpion’s body.

Murong Xue just began showing a joyful expression.

But the next moment, the Dark Scorpion shattered the ice layer.

Its massive tail swung again, sending Murong Xue flying, then lunged toward her, preparing to devour her in one bite.

“Ah, I’m going to die.” Murong Xue cried out in fear.

And as the Dark Scorpion lunged towards Murong Xie, Lin Feng suddenly noticed a sinister and hideous human face on its abdomen.

“Oh my god, what kind of monster is this? It even has a human face.”

Lin Feng felt his scalp tingling.

But at this moment, he had no time left. Lin Feng pushed his speed to the limit, dashing beneath the Dark Scorpion.

“Screech.”

The Dark Scorpion clearly didn’t anticipate Lin Feng’s charge; the human face emitted a sharp, piercing scream, causing Lin Feng’s head to throb with intense pain. It was a formidable soul attack skill.

Lin Feng understood it was a critical moment of life and death. Enduring the intense pain in his head, he stabbed his longsword towards the hideous human face on the Dark Scorpion’s abdomen.

Psh.

The sword pierced through the sinister human face.

With a thunderous crash, the massive body of the Dark Scorpion collapsed onto the ground.

Then it convulsed violently, but in a short time, it succumbed to lifelessness.

“You actually killed the giant scorpion? How did you kill it?” Murong Xue shouted in surprise, her face filled with the relief of having survived a disaster.

“The Dark Scorpion had a human face on its abdomen. I pierced through that face.” Lin Feng also let out a long breath.

Murong Xue looked over and, sure enough, saw a hideous and ugly human face pierced through by Lin Feng’s sword.

Lin Feng took a deep breath, grasped the sword’s hilt, and pulled the longsword out from the human face on the abdomen of the Dark Scorpion.
