Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1353: Engagements in week?

Aqualina slowly wiped the blood on Aether’s face as she heard the story of what had just happened here, and she couldn’t believe they had actually encountered one of the metallic figures in the barrier borders of their own Empire.

”Did you guys really not see that?” Aether asked in a curious tone.

Both Sandra and Celestia shook their heads... they didn’t see any kind of white golden light flickering on the chair or anything.

”Looks like we need to increase our patrols,” Aqualina said as the handkerchief, drenched in water, touched his face. She wrung it out and stroked his cheek with deliberate slowness.

Aether hummed as he let her do it without hesitation. He glanced at Sandra, who seemed to be pouting but not showing it clearly. He smiled softly, saying, ”We need to look into this matter. If they could appear inside the barrier, that means they could appear anywhere without alerting us. We need to be vigilant about this situation.”

Sandra nodded. ”I will prepare for it.”

Aether then glanced at the bloody place that Celestia was cleaning up. Before Aether could say anything, Sandra interjected, ”The compensation for the families of the individual soldiers who died will be done soon.”

Aether smiled gently, nodding his head. ”Especially this guy...” He sighed slightly, feeling guilty. After all, he was the one who forced the truth out of him, which caused something... he didn’t understand, but he was responsible. ”I will visit his family later,” he said in a calm tone.

Aqualina, who was wiping his face, said, ”No need, I will do it—”

However, Sandra interjected, saying that it’s time for Aether to get directly involved with these things.

Aqualina nodded in understanding as she gave him one last dry wipe on his face and a small kiss on his cheek. ”You’re good to go.”

Aether chuckled and kissed her back before turning to the others. ”Also, for now, no need to mention those things. We don’t want to make things harder for the already worried people.”

”Then?” Sandra frowned.

Aether hummed thoughtfully... what else could he tell them to make things believable?

He raked a hand through his hair, ”Hmm... got it. Just say those monsters outside the barrier managed to enter our barrier, which would explain if we increase the patrols on the barriers.”

”This might increase worry among them,” Celestia commented as she dusted her hands after cleaning the bloody mess.

”It does, but... compared to metallic figures, I believe this is nothing,” Aether said calmly. For now, he only needed the people to maintain their calm. Once the gun replica was handed over to Rosavere, who knew what kind of chaos she was going to cause.

The only way to stop her... was to stop the people from getting the idea of using weapons to kill each other.

Killing Rosavere to end this problem?

He had already thought about this... it’s just he hesitated, wondering if someone big behind her might get alerted and he might not get in touch with the person who gave her the gun.

Until then, he needed to get closer to Rosavere.

”Do you know why they’re appearing now, after so long?” Celestia asked, her voice a mix of curiosity and quiet dread.

Aether shook his head, ”Lyirrs is still investigating the Origin Cards. We don’t know what it’s truly capable of yet... and even less about why this is happening now.”

”Why did they leave this man alive?”

That was another question they couldn’t answer.

Everyone’s face turned grim... whatever it was, they couldn’t understand or even wait. Only the future would tell what would happen to them.

”Anyway, the one who escaped, right? Better order him to not tell the truth—otherwise, he’ll face shivering consequences,” Aether said, his tone colder than before.

”And... when’s the official engagement ceremony happening?” he asked, the shift in his tone almost comical.

Aqualina smiled gently, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. ”Next week, most likely. Preparations are already underway,” she replied.

Aether nodded, then managed an awkward smile. ”Darling, please don’t make it too big... this is just an engagement, not a coronation or wedding. Don’t waste all our money, alright?”

Aqualina smiled, nodding her head in agreement. Aether glanced over at Sandra, but she just shrugged, lips pursed in a faint scowl.

”I’m not the one managing that,” Sandra muttered with a slightly annoyed tone. ”She has full control, and I’m just a bystander this time.”

Aether blinked, puzzled at his beloved Empress’s sudden irritation. He walked over, wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a gentle embrace. ”Is my Empress angry?” he teased.

Sandra gave him a deadpan expression, her arms limp at her sides. ”Angry? Why would I be?” she replied.

Aether blinked again, feeling the subtle pulse of their bond... an ache, a need, the kind only she could kindle in him. Smiling softly, he scooped her up in his arms, lifting her like a princess. Without another word, he teleported them away.

Both Aqualina and Celestia blinked at the sudden disappearance. Then muttered at the same time, ”That bitch!!”

Soon... well, almost half a day later, Sandra came out of the room with messy hair and glowing skin, the annoyance in her eyes now replaced with a deeply satisfied expression. A rosy flush lingered on her cheeks, and her clothes barely clung to the sensual curves of her body.

She moved with the lazy confidence of a woman thoroughly loved, tying her hair into a bun as she caught her daughter and Celestia staring blankly at her entrance.

Sandra coughed, cheeks heating again. ”Ahem... I—I need to take a bath,” she said, voice trembling, trying to sound casual even as something warm and sticky was still dripping between her thighs. Her steps wobbled, every muscle in her legs remembering the hours spent pinned beneath Aether’s feverish hunger.

Meanwhile, Aether was nakedly sprawled on the tangled bed, the sheets soaked with strange stains, the air thick with the scent of sweat and love. He stared at his hand, expression caught between awe and self-loathing.

’You fucking asshole! Couldn’t you just control your damn thing?!’ he screamed inside his mind, seething with a mixture of embarrassment and reluctant satisfaction. Once again, he’d failed to use the condom—again, he had filled her up, losing himself completely when she’d begged for more, moaning his name, her ass arching for him until he snapped and gave in to every urge.

’FUCK YOU!!’ he cursed himself, biting down on the shame and pleasure both.

At this rate, he’d be the one suffering for this madness!!

Aqualina and Celestia, who were standing outside with pouting, annoyed expressions, looked as if they were trying to mimic... Sandra—desperate to get what she got.

He was definitely not going to fall for that trap agai—

”I still have time and stamina~” Aether said, catching sight of their puppy eyes. He tried to keep his resolve, but the way they looked at him made his heart flutter.

How could he possibly ignore that?

Only a heartless man would turn away from two beauties who wanted nothing but his touch.

Aqualina’s eyes widened, ”But before that, let’s get to the bathroom. I don’t want to do it while you smell like my mother... yuck!!” she teased, wrinkling her nose.

Celestia nodded with a serious face, crossing her arms under her chest. ”I agree, but...” Her glare landed sharply on Aqualina. ”Shouldn’t it be my turn? After all, she and I are sisters, right? There should be an order!”

”...The heck? Why are you bringing that up?” Aqualina shot back.

And... they started to fight, voices rising, each vying for his attention.

Aether sighed, shaking his head as he leapt from the bed, a lazy grin on his lips. ”You snooze, you lose~” he called out as he immediately walked away, putting extra sway in his step just to tease them.

”W-Wait!” they cried in unison, but Aether was already gone, ducking out before they could pull him back into their playful tug-of-war.

For now, until he figured out the best solution for his... ’cumming inside problem’, he’d rather not get involved physically—at least not yet.

He jogged toward the bathroom. But when he slipped inside, he was greeted by an irresistible sight: a gorgeous woman washing under the spray, crouching down, shaking her hips as water streamed over her curves and something more poured out, trailing down her thighs.

Sandra glanced back over her shoulder, wet hair clinging to flushed skin.

”Oh... Did you come to ba—Wait! Wait! AHHH~”

...Well, they fucked again!

She was, even without trying, still absolutely tempting!

And it’s not like he was being biased, either—he’d already poured so much of himself into her. He didn’t think a little more would make much difference, not when she seemed to crave it all.

But still, he needed to control his damn hormones!!

After washing up and getting ready to leave, he glanced up at the sky outside the palace window—only to see the golden letters shift and rearrange once again,

And this time, the remaining three empires’ numbers changed at the same time!!
