[BL] After SSS-rank mage reborn as the Legendary Craftsman

Lucas happily said goodbye to Thunder and Kei and left the shop, as it was time for him to return to Guild Zootopia to report the results to the guild leader.

Before leaving, he even raised his hand wearing the Purification Ring, shaking it in front of Kei in a joyful and excited manner.

”Kei-nim, I will immediately send this formula to the Craftsmen of Guild Zootopia. They will surely be so happy they’ll cry. Thank you so much!”

”That’s good then.” Kei smiled. ”Remember to tell them to follow the formula exactly. Don’t change the patterns on your own.”

The pattern of this Purification skill was entirely created by Kei using a mage’s intellect, suited to the energy flow of this world’s energy stones and hunter energy. If the pattern deviates even slightly, the item cannot be successfully crafted.

However, Kei believed that with the skilled hands of the Craftsmen, once they had the complete formula, crafting the Purification Ring would not be difficult at all!

”Understood!”

Lucas turned around and quickly walked toward the portal to Guild Zootopia’s protected city area.

Although he had left the shop, his mood was still so excited that he wanted to howl in the middle of the street. The Purification Ring on his hand was nothing short of a treasure. Just thinking about the expressions of the Craftsmen in the Guild when they saw it, Lucas could not help but laugh.

Sure enough, as soon as he returned to headquarters, Lucas took out the formula, intending to send it to the Guild’s Craftsman team.

But before Lucas could step into the crafting room, he already heard laughter echoing from inside.

”Success!”

”We finally succeeded!”

”Don’t touch it! Let me try first!”

”Get out of the way! I’ve been crafting Potions for three days straight, let me be the first to wear it!”

Lucas stopped at the door of the room.

Before he could knock, the door was pushed open by someone. A Craftsman with messy hair rushed out, both hands clutching the silver ring that had just been successfully crafted, laughing so hard that tears streamed down his face.

”We’re saved... I will never craft Potions again in my life!”

That person cried and laughed while shouting loudly.

Lucas looked inside.

The crafting room, which had always been neat and tidy, had now turned into a battlefield. Potion bottles were stacked on top of each other, materials were scattered all over the table, and coats were stained with all kinds of strange colors. Several other Craftsmen were also gathered around a newly crafted silver ring, some laughing loudly, some holding their heads, and some even sobbing.

They could not hold back anymore, they just wanted to release their emotions, otherwise they would go crazy.

Lucas chuckled softly.

He understood how they felt.

In recent days, the Potion shortage had driven the Guild’s Craftsman team almost insane. They had to work nonstop, crafting countless types of recovery, antidote, and resistance Potions every day, but still could not meet the hunters’ demands.

The appearance of the Purification Ring at this moment was like a hand pulling them out of the abyss.

”Lucas!” A Craftsman saw him and immediately rushed over.

”How is it, did you go buy Potions? Right now, even if you want to kill me, I don’t want to keep crafting Potions day and night anymore!”

The madness in this Craftsman’s eyes made Lucas dazed.

”Thunder already sent me some Potions.” Lucas raised his hand, revealing the ring on his finger. ”But it seems I’m a step behind you all. I originally planned to bring the sample and formula back to hand them to you directly, but...”

”It’s fine! It’s totally fine!”

That Craftsman grabbed Lucas’s shoulder, so happy he almost lifted him off the ground.

”We did it! As long as we have the formula, everyone can craft the Purification Ring! Then we won’t need so many Potions anymore!”

Lucas looked at the ring in that person’s hand, then at the tired but radiant faces around him. He said nothing more, only gently patted the other person’s shoulder.

”Don’t celebrate too soon. I came here carrying another important matter as well.”The Craftsmen immediately looked toward him.

”What is it?”

”The person who created this formula is named Kei. I invited him to join the Guild, but he refused.”

The fact that Kei was the one who created the Purification Ring and published the formula was still a secret, so the other Craftsmen were hearing about this for the first time.

”He refused? Could it be that the conditions you offered weren’t good enough?”

”That’s right. I offered the conditions reserved for an S-rank Craftsman in the Guild, but he still refused.”

Everyone looked at each other in bewilderment.

A Craftsman with such talent, who could even research equipment that would change the entire hunter industry, why would he refuse a large Guild like Zootopia?

Lucas simply smiled.

”He wants to stay in Dong-San city.”

No one mocked that decision.

In the crafting room filled with the smell of metal and Potion, everyone was silent for a moment. Then, someone quietly lowered their head to look at the Purification Ring in their hand.

”A person like that... is truly admirable.”

A mere E-rank Craftsman was already able to independently research a completely new type of item like this. The Purification Ring was very miraculous. An F-rank Craftsman could still craft an F-rank Purification Ring, while an S-rank Craftsman could also upgrade the rank of the Purification Ring they crafted to S-rank.

Because the principle was too simple, one only needed to replace the energy stone that powered the ring. The effect was the same either way. The difference lay in the fact that with more energy, the ring could be used for a longer time.

The hardest part of this ring lay in the pattern of the Purification skill, and Kei had already perfected it and made the entire thing public.

No one doubted the talent of that young Craftsman. Kei-nim of Dong-San city would definitely have a solid place in their industry in the future!

Lucas nodded.

”That’s right.”
