[BL] After SSS-rank mage reborn as the Legendary Craftsman

Kei had no idea what was happening outside the shop.

In his mind right now, there was only the image of a new type of equipment.

Magic tools.

In the old world, magic could be fixated onto equipment. But after thinking more carefully, Kei quickly realized that approach did not suit the current situation.

To fixate magic, there must be a mage. And the mages capable of performing fixation were only Kei!

If only Kei could craft this type of equipment, then it would be no different from turning himself into the sole source of supply.

Kei did not want that.

The upgraded spatial ring had already kept him busy enough. If he continued to open pre-orders for magic tools, he would probably have to stay in the crafting room for the rest of his life.

Besides, other Craftsmen also needed the chance to enter the market, and Kei did not intend to monopolize this new type of equipment.

”They have to be able to craft it themselves.”

Kei propped his chin on his hand, looking at the sketches scattered across the table.

If he used a mage’s mana to fixate magic, the Craftsmen in this world would not be able to follow suit. But what if he changed the method of operation so that the equipment used a hunter’s energy source instead?

If so, then the thing providing the energy source should not be a manastone but rather...

Kei looked at the energy stone placed beside him.

This energy source was not the same as mana, but it could still provide energy for equipment.

And as long as he redesigned the magic patterns, turning the purification skill into a structure that could be engraved on an item just like the patterns of the spatial ring, then other Craftsmen only needed to learn the formula.

That idea reminded Kei of the spatial rings.

He was used to using a silver frame and an energy stone to create a small, easy-to-use item. Therefore, instead of crafting a bracelet or a complicated piece of equipment, Kei decided to experiment with a new ring.

Kei took a silver ring frame out of the drawer.

Then, he placed a small energy stone in the very center of the ring’s body.

The new ring had a structure almost similar to the spatial ring, but the patterns on its surface would be engraved completely differently.

Kei held an engraving knife and worked on the silver frame.

The interwoven engraved lines formed an intricate magic structure. It was not a spatial pattern, nor was it a formula used to expand an item’s capacity.

This was a pattern simulating a mage’s E-rank [Purification] magic.

Kei did not directly fixate magic onto the ring.

He was recreating the magic’s method of operation through patterns, then connecting it to the energy stone.

If it succeeded, the ring would use the energy inside the stone to trigger the purification effect, and other Craftsmen could also engrave this set of patterns.

”As long as the formula is not too complicated... they will be able to do it.”

Kei muttered, his hand still moving without pause.

The first problem was the amount of energy required.

Purification was not an attack spell. It needed to identify adverse effects existing on the user’s body, then remove them without causing harm to the body.

If too much energy was transmitted, the purification effect could mistakenly erase beneficial states as well. If too little was transmitted, it would not be strong enough to remove toxins or control effects.

Kei had to adjust every line on the pattern.

Sometimes the energy stone suddenly lit up, forcing him to immediately remove it to prevent the stone from being destroyed. Sometimes the patterns on the silver frame trembled slightly and then cracked, forcing Kei to throw the entire ring into the scrap bin.

But he was not discouraged at all; each failure helped him understand the equipment’s structure more clearly.

After several hours, Kei placed the final ring on the table.

The energy stone in the center of the silver frame glowed faintly. The patterns around it also connected one by one, forming a thin ring of light that covered the face of the ring.

Kei held his breath; it was time to verify this equipment’s ability.

He took a bottle of low-grade poison from the cabinet and dropped one drop onto the back of his hand. His skin immediately turned pale green, and a stinging cold quickly spread along his arm.Kei put the ring on his finger.

The energy stone glowed brightly. A gentle light flowed out, sweeping across his body.

The numbing sensation disappeared almost immediately. The blue color on his skin also gradually faded. Kei looked at the back of his hand, then looked down at the silver ring.

The energy stone only dimmed slightly, proving that the energy consumption was within an acceptable range.

Kei was dazed for a moment.

Then, he happily raised the ring high.

”Success!”

His voice echoed in the quiet crafting room.

Kei held the purification ring in his hand, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

He had not only crafted a new piece of equipment but had also found a method for other Craftsmen to follow his formula.

As long as he continued testing, adjusting the rune tier, and changing the type of energy stone, this ring could absolutely become common equipment in Dungeons, and hunters could buy purification rings suited to their finances and level.

From now on, low-level hunters would also have the chance to protect themselves from poison and adverse effects.

Kei looked at the ring for a long time, the smile on his lips growing clearer and clearer.

This was the item that would solve the current tension in Dong-San city!

This will be the Purification Ring!

Kei named this new item himself,

He thought about what to do next to spread the crafting formula of the Purification Ring to all Craftsmen of Dong-San city and to all Craftsmen of this world.

And then Kei thought of someone who could help him do this easily.
