[BL] After SSS-rank mage reborn as the Legendary Craftsman

Kang Ian woke up when the sky had completely darkened.

The light from outside the window spilled into the break room, casting a pale streak across the floor. He sat up from the sofa, his eyes still carrying a dazed look, but his mind felt heavy as if he had just been submerged at the bottom of the sea.

Kang Ian reached up and touched the corner of his eye.

His fingertip was soaked.

He looked at the transparent liquid on his hand, silent for a long while before letting out a heavy breath.

He didn’t remember anything at all.

Couldn’t recall what he had dreamed about. He only knew that in that dream there was a very deep pain, so deep that even while sleeping, his chest had been crushed.

Kang Ian frowned tightly, trying to dig through the vague fragments of memory.

A terrible sense of loss, but everything just flickered and immediately shattered. A headache quickly surged up, making his temples throb.

”Ugh...”

Kang Ian pressed his hand hard against his forehead, and in the end had to give up on trying to remember.

Outside the window, Dong-San city had lit up. The streets were brightly illuminated, cars lined up one after another, pedestrians hurried home.

This place was so bustling, yet the loneliness in Kang Ian’s heart became even more pronounced.

He sat alone on the sofa, looking at the distant lights through the glass window, and in his mind only one face remained.

It was Kei.

Kang Ian really wanted to see him. Not tomorrow after Kei’s anger had subsided.

But right now.

He knew Kei was probably still shaken by the kiss that afternoon. He also knew he shouldn’t bother Kei at this time.

But Kang Ian didn’t want to wait any longer.

Just thinking about Kei hiding from him again behind a closed door made an inexplicable discomfort rise in his heart.

A second later, the figure on the sofa disappeared. The window was flung open, curtains blown wild by the night wind.

Meanwhile, Kei had just finished showering.

Steam still clung to his black hair. He stepped out of the bathroom, wiping his hair while looking around the room. Kei’s gaze quickly fell on the five Blood Leaf plants placed on the table.

He stopped walking.

After thinking for a moment, Kei walked over and sat down in front of the desk.

The Blood Leaf plants were neatly placed in small pots, their leaves dark red as if dyed with blood. This was a type of herb that could only be found in Dungeons, yet now he had the chance to try growing them in the space inside the ring.

Kei reached out and gently touched one of the plants.

As the thought gently stirred, the Blood Leaf plant before his eyes disappeared.

Kei immediately closed his eyes.

His vision extended through an endless void, quickly entering the world inside the ring.

A vast expanse of black soil appeared before his eyes.

The air in the space was filled with magical power. Invisible currents of energy slowly circulated across the ground, making the soil here much looser and more fertile than outside.

The Blood Leaf plant lay on the ground.

Kei focused his thoughts, directing it to move to an empty patch of land. The roots trembled slightly, then burrowed deep into the black soil.

At that very moment, Kei felt a stream of energy being drawn from his body.

[990/1000]

Kei opened his eyes.

”Oh...”

He looked down at his hand, his expression slightly surprised.

So controlling living things in space also consumed hunter energy. Fortunately, after leveling up to Craftsman rank E, Kei’s hunter energy had been multiplied by 10, 1000 energy points was more than enough for Kei at present.

Kei closed his eyes again, checking the condition of the Blood Leaf plant. It had been planted into the ground without any damage. The leaves trembled slightly in the wind carrying magical power, looking no different from having grown there for a very long time.

”Doesn’t consume magical power...”

Kei murmured softly.

This was good news.

His current magical power was truly too little. After falling into this world, Kei’s body still hadn’t fully recovered. If even planting a single tree consumed magical power, he definitely wouldn’t be able to maintain this garden for long, and the planting would have to be done very slowly.

But hunter energy was different.

A thousand energy points wasn’t too large a number, however it could still recover on its own over time.If it only cost ten points for each plant move, Kei could completely arrange the herb planting work into the space quickly.

He looked at the Blood Leaf root in the space, his gaze gradually brightening.

A herb garden would quickly appear in this place.

If Blood Leaf and Silver Moon Flower could be made to grow continuously, the problem of materials for making potions would be solved.

Kei also wanted to test their growth speed by using a few plant growth acceleration spells, but after thinking it over, he decided not to rush.

This space still held too many secrets.

The invisible wall blocking the view in the distance, the small pond that had not yet been examined, and the conditions for expanding the land were also completely unclear.

With just a little carelessness, he could ruin the only place that could become his garden.

Kei opened his eyes and looked down at the silver ring on his finger.

”Study it slowly, then.”

He gently stroked the surface of the ring.

In the quiet night, a gust of wind suddenly blew through the window.

Kei slightly raised his head and gave a brief glance.

Outside, a figure was standing on the roof of the opposite building.

Cold moonlight fell on black hair and platinum eyes that were looking straight toward Kei’s room.

Kang Ian did not speak, and Kei had not noticed him either.

One person stood in the darkness, one person sat by the desk, between them was only a short distance, yet no one knew how to cross it.

Kang Ian looked at Kei’s calm face, and in his heart rose an inexplicable pain.

He wanted to call Kei’s name.

But in the end, Kang Ian only stood still outside the window, like someone who did not know what he was waiting for, staring intently at the figure of the young man sitting focused on his work at the desk by the window.
