Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2417: Chapter 2426: The Old Lady Refuses to Eat

Enna Clark slightly frowned and sighed with a headache, ”I don’t know when Little Uncle will be willing to get married. If he was willing to get married, Grandma wouldn’t keep getting upset at him...”

”That’s his business, not every man wants to get married.” Before he met her, he also scoffed at the idea of marriage. Baron Lawrence wasn’t interested in other people’s affairs, even if that person was Enna Clark’s Little Uncle. He extended his hand towards Enna Clark, ”Let’s go, the movie’s over, let’s get something to eat.”

Enna Clark was interrupted by him, and came back to her senses, seeing his impatient look of not wanting to listen or care, she wordlessly extended her hand, placing it in his, not forgetting the most important thing, ”I still have to make a call to check on Bobby.”

Baron Lawrence’s brows furrowed tightly, glaring at her, but he compromised, ”Make it quick, I’ll wait for you.”

Today was supposed to be their date, her eyes and mind should only have room for him, yet she was worried about Tobias Clark one moment and Edward Jackson the next!

Dammit!

Even though he knew one was her son, the other her dear uncle, he was still annoyed.

Enna Clark didn’t notice his annoyance, or even if she did, she’d ignore it. She picked up her bag and went out to make the call...

...

Meanwhile, in a super luxurious mansion worth millions in Country W, the man Enna Clark was worried about was overwhelmed with the matter of arranged meetings.

A servant hurried to the office door, saying something to the young boy at the entrance. The boy, with a face like an ice mountain, showed a hint of helplessness, and asked the servant to stay outside, ”Wait here for me, I’ll report to the Master first.”

”Alright.”

Hayes knocked twice on the door and went in—

The man in the office was tall and handsome, and with the passage of time, his features combined gentleness with sharpness, giving him a mysterious, mature, and steady aura. He was already striking enough, and coupled with his distinct tea-colored eyes, his features had an exotic, mixed-race look to them.

From the appearance, Edward Jackson was absolutely better looking than Enna Clark.

Perhaps because Edward Jackson’s looks were more inherited from the late Old Master Habsden, while Enna Clark looked more like Old Madam Habsden, more Eastern features.

At this moment, he was looking down, flipping through some documents.

He seemed very focused, but whether he was truly reading, only he knew.

”Master.” Hayes stood in front of his desk, hands crossed respectfully in front, bowing his head, respectfully and softly called.

Edward Jackson put down the document in his hand, raised his head, and asked calmly, ”What’s the matter?”

Hayes quickly glanced up at him and said, ”Old Madam is refusing to eat, insisting on going back to Country T...”

The latter didn’t matter, but the former...

As expected, Edward Jackson propped his arms on the desk, rubbing his temples that were throbbing painfully, looking extremely troubled, ”What about the others, what are they doing, why aren’t they persuading Old Madam to eat?”

”They have tried... but Old Madam is adamant, and also said... that if the Master doesn’t go to see her, she won’t eat tonight either.” Hayes softly reminded him, ”This morning, Old Madam didn’t have breakfast either.”
