Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1498: Chapter 1498: Baron Lawrence, please get up first

Enna Clark turned her head and saw him, casually saying, “Baron Lawrence, you’re out. Here, your honey water is ready. Want to drink it now? I can bring it over to you.”

“Leave it there,” he said, his voice husky and sexy, perhaps because of the bath he just took.

His eagle eyes focused on her from head to toe, his obsidian-like eyes deep and unfathomable, as if harboring two flames flickering within.

“Oh, okay.” Enna hadn’t sensed the danger, thinking he wanted to dry his hair before drinking, and quietly placed the cup on the bedside table.

Before she could turn around, suddenly, she was embraced from behind. The scorching breath brushed against her ear, sending a tingling sensation that felt like an electric shock.

Even if Enna was slow to react, she realized something now, her body stiffening, she stammered, “Bar…Baron Lawrence…”

Before her words finished, she was swept horizontally into his arms and tossed onto the bed.

His bed was always a 2.5 meters wide King-size bed, soft to the extreme; once she lay down, the Sealy mattress felt as if she would sink into it.

But Enna had no interest in enjoying the soft comfort of the Sealy mattress right now, her eyes wide open.

Baron Lawrence had been waiting for this moment for a long time, he didn’t pause for a second, his arms bracing on either side of Enna’s head, looming over her.

He had just taken a bath, and water droplets still clung to his sharp black hair, some mischievously sliding down his handsomely contoured face, along his neck, and rolling into the V-neck bathrobe, unbearably sexy!

Enna’s gaze was frantic, her hands pressing against his chest, she said in confusion, “That… Baron Lawrence, your hair is still wet, maybe you should get up first… I can dry it for you.”

Her throat was dry, itchy, and she dared not swallow her saliva, afraid he might misunderstand. She added stammeringly, “If you don’t dry your hair, you might catch a cold, I…”

“Then let him catch a cold!” She hadn’t finished speaking when the man above her cut her off!

Enna was choked by the interruption, she pushed him a bit, striving to calm down, she took a deep breath and said, “That, Baron Lawrence, please let me get up. This position is too…”

She had barely moved when her wrist was caught, and without another word, it was forcibly pressed above her head. The man, looming over her, and looking like God’s most perfect creation, his deep eagle eyes suddenly narrowed, his lips brushing against each other as he said, “Do you think I would let you get up at this time?”

His gaze was fiery, almost piercing through her, and Enna shifted uncomfortably.

She didn’t know that such a slight movement from her was akin to playing with fire.

The man, whose self-control was already hanging by a thread, felt a sudden darkening in his eyes, a warm surge in his lower abdomen, and he tensely clenched his muscles.

Damn it! She dared to seduce him at this time!

Even though it felt like a fire was burning in his abdomen, he didn’t just follow his desires, but instead pursed his lips tightly, enduring, and at this moment raised his left hand, his large palm suddenly covering the eyes of the woman beneath him.

“Uh…” Her hands pinned down, and now her eyes suddenly covered, Enna instinctively shook her head.
