Chapter 1456: Chapter 1456: Suddenly Wanting Tomato and Egg Noodles in the Middle of the Night Chapter 1456: Chapter 1456: Suddenly Wanting Tomato and Egg Noodles in the Middle of the Night His jaw tensed into a straight line, hands clenched into fists.

What on earth had he forgotten?

He didn’t care before because he simply did not believe he would ever chase after a woman, let alone like one so much. But now, he suddenly wanted to remember!

Enna Clark had waited too long, couldn’t bear it anymore, and dozily fell asleep on the couch. She was sleeping sweetly when she suddenly felt someone calling her name.

Buzzing, more annoying than a mosquito.

At first, she furrowed her brows in irritation, but the buzzing noise next to her ear didn’t subside; instead, it seemed to get even louder.

Where did this mosquito come from, and why was it so annoying?

With her sweet dream interrupted, she finally lost her patience, and as she swung her hand in a slap, she opened her eyes, “So noisy!”

Baron Lawrence’s quick reflexes allowed him to grab her wrist and narrowly avoid her slap. His handsome face darkened as he pulled her up, “Enna Clark, I want Tomato and Egg Noodles, make them for me!”

Who wouldn’t be disoriented by being woken up so abruptly in the middle of a good sleep, especially for such a bizarre reason?

Enna Clark was no different, staring blankly as her sleep-heavy eyes instantly cleared up, doubting what she just heard, “Huh?”

Dammit!

What was that look in her eyes!

Baron Lawrence pulled her up commandingly, impatiently saying, “Are you deaf? I said I want Tomato and Egg Noodles, right now!”

His ears must be deaf!

No, it must be his brain that’s gone bad!

In the middle of the night, what is he going crazy about?

Enna’s head throbbed in pain. She glanced at the clock on the wall and couldn’t help reminding him, “Baron Lawrence, it’s already one in the morning…”

“So what?” he said, domineering as if it were only natural.

The things he wanted didn’t consider the time, not even if it were three or four in the morning.

Enna was rendered speechless, only managing to squeeze out after a long moment, “There might not be any tomatoes or eggs in the fridge, and the supermarket is closed at this hour. Even if I wanted to cook for you, I can’t.”

“You don’t need to worry about that.” After saying this, Baron Lawrence picked up the phone on the couchside table and made a call, “I want tomatoes and eggs, deliver them to me in fifteen minutes!”

After issuing the order with brisk efficiency, he hung up and turned to her, “There, we have tomatoes and eggs now, get up and make them.”

Enna Clark, “…”

…

Reluctantly, Enna Clark was still dragged up.

Groggy, she quickly freshened up, tied her hair back, put on an apron, washed her hands, and took a look in the fridge.

The cold air from the fridge surged at the moment she opened the door, chilling her with a shiver, instantly dispelling her sleepiness and clearing her mind.

The vacation villa’s fridge was well-stocked with ingredients, most of them for Western Food. Enna searched around and finally found some green onions tucked away in a corner. She took them out and promptly closed the fridge door.

Phew~

Baron Lawrence had already sent someone to get tomatoes and eggs, so all she had to do now was to chop the green onions and set them aside, saving a step for when the tomatoes and eggs arrived.

Being woken up at one in the morning to cook was definitely not comfortable, especially when it involved washing vegetables under cold water, it was simply indescribable.

Enna Clark efficiently washed and chopped the green onions into small pieces, placing them in a bowl on the side.
