Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1460: Chapter 1460: Want to Sleep with Her Chapter 1460: Chapter 1460: Want to Sleep with Her The bowl of Tomato and Egg Noodles was quickly emptied, and Baron Lawrence, with a rare good appetite, finished the last bit and set down his chopsticks.

Enna Clark had already poured him a fresh glass of water and placed it in front of him, “Have some water.”

He picked up the glass and took a sip, the sweetness of the honey water diluting the taste of the tomato and egg in his mouth. His hard contours relaxed as he stood up, grasping the wrist of the little woman who kept yawning, and striding forward with long steps, “Let’s go, time to sleep.”

The dining table can be cleaned by the servant tomorrow.

Although Baron Lawrence couldn’t recall anything else, he was in a good mood after eating the Tomato and Egg Noodles tonight.

So unusually, his tone of voice was much gentler than usual.

However, his actions still revealed his true nature, imperious as ever.

He dragged Enna Clark into the bedroom and then let go of her hand, frowning slightly, “I’m going to take a shower; wait for me a minute.”

Even though he had just taken a bath, he had mysophobia and had to shower again after eating because he would always feel like there was a lingering smell on him.

Enna Clark knew about his mysophobia and nodded, “Mhm.”

Baron Lawrence took long strides into the bathroom.

The sound of water in the bathroom rushed loudly, while Enna Clark took a deep breath, moved a new blanket from the closet, and got into bed first.

Tonight she was going to sleep with Baron Lawrence…

Even though she had slept with him before, now that Baron Lawrence didn’t remember the past, sleeping together again felt a bit… awkward.

Enna Clark couldn’t quite put her finger on the feeling, but it was definitely odd.

A bit uncomfortable.

But she wasn’t a fusspot. Since they already had Bobby, whether Baron Lawrence remembered the past or not, she had already decided on him, so when Baron Lawrence said he wanted to sleep with her tonight, she did not refuse.

Baron Lawrence had already taken a bath earlier, and now he was just taking a quick rinse.

Soon, he was done with his grooming and came out.

Enna Clark didn’t know why, but on hearing the bathroom door open, she reflexively closed her eyes first.

Tap tap tap.

The footsteps gradually approached.

Her heartbeat uncontrollably sped up.

Thump thump, over and over, as if it was about to leap out of her chest.

Enna Clark wished she could press her chest to stop it from beating so loudly, but since she had already pretended to be asleep, it would be embarrassing to open her eyes now; she could only purse her lips tightly and endure…

What she didn’t know was that her slightly reddened ear tips had already given her away.

The gaze of the man beside the bed swept over her fair face, lingering for a moment on her delicate earlobe, his burning eyes held a focused intensity that even he hadn’t noticed. It seemed that he was in a good mood, and his lips curved up as well.

Had anyone ever told her she looked like a rabbit when she pretended to sleep?

Baron Lawrence moved his gaze away in good spirits.

He reached out to lift the blanket, got into bed, and lay down beside her.

The king-size bed dipped under his weight, and Enna Clark immediately smelled the familiar scent of sandalwood mixed with the shower gel.

Fresh and pleasant.

She involuntarily held her breath, tensing up as stiff as a stone.

Because her eyes were closed, she couldn’t see the handsome man who had already started reading an English book.

After waiting some time, with no sign of the person beside her getting closer, Enna Clark relaxed a little and discreetly shifted her body.

The next second, she was pulled into a scorching embrace—
