Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 523 -523: Li Beijue Clashes Head-On with His Opponent

“I don’t know either, President Li just gave such instructions,” the secretary noticed her confusion and, worrying she might refuse, quickly pushed her out of the pantries, “Miss Chi, you can rest in the CEO’s office for a while; I can take care of things here.”

Chi Enen was pushed back to the office by him, somewhat clueless, “I…” she hadn’t finished speaking.

The secretary had already cut in front of her, “Miss Chi, please take a rest here, wait until President Li finishes the meeting. I won’t disturb you anymore, I’ll pull the door shut for you.”

Having said that, he didn’t give Chi Enen any time to react and casually closed the office door.

Once he had shut her in the office, he patted his chest and heaved a long sigh of relief.

Miss Chi hadn’t come around to understanding, but he certainly had. President Li suddenly forbade Miss Chi from attending the meeting and specifically instructed him to replace Miss Chi in bringing tea, clearly because he had just seen the Duke of the Habsden family helping Miss Chi bring coffee in, and he was jealous.

However, President Li’s possessiveness was too strong; someone just helped by bringing a cup of coffee, and President Li actually didn’t allow Miss Chi to attend the meeting…

The secretary clicked his tongue but still hurried back to the pantries, one cup at a time he brought the tea into the conference room.

This time Quan Dongting broke precedent by leaving Country Y to come to Rainy City, one reason was for Huo Leiting, the other was to discuss collaboration with Li Beijue.

Of course, the collaboration was not about the Xingyao company but about the alliance of both wealthy families. From the port to transportation, a partnership close to over 100 billion.

Li Beijue was always known for his calmness in the business world, but today, for some unknown reason, from the start of the meeting, he took on a forcefully dominant aura, striking first.

Both families already had an unspoken agreement on the approximate profit margins, yet he directly raised the profit point by 5% at the beginning of the meeting.

With an over 100 billion partnership, let alone a 5% interest point, even 0.5% converted into money is not a small amount.

His sudden proposal of a 5% interest point not only stunned the think tank brought by the Habsden family but also the people from Li’s Plutocrat.

They didn’t understand why he suddenly made this move.

The only person in the conference room who maintained his composure was Quan Dongting alone; he propped his hands under his chin, his deep eyes looked towards the man exuding an aggressively strong pressure, “This is different from the consensus reached with Old Master Jue, forgive my bluntness, but President Li, do you think you have something to convince me to agree to give up this 5% profit point?”

Li Beijue’s falcon-like eyes swept over the coffee cup placed in front of him, thinking about the scene of him and Chi Enen bringing coffee in one after the other just now, his pupils quickly frosted over, and with an icy expanse, he lifted his chin, “Based on my ability to increase the total benefit of that transportation line by 30%.”

Quan Dongting raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised, “President Li, you should be very clear on what you’re saying, right?”

One hundred billion was his estimate for the benefits of this collaboration.

An increase of 30% was undoubtedly worth giving up that 5% share of the profits.

“I, Li Beijue, never speak without certainty,” he declared with dominating authority!

Quan Dongting narrowed his eyes and stared at him for a few seconds, then suddenly relaxed, “Hass, draft the contract.”

“Master Gong?” The people from the Habsburg family were all surprised.

How could the Duke so easily give up the 5% profit point? They should at least bargain a bit; suggest adding President Li’s earlier assurance into the contract as a condition.
