Reborn with a Space: Building a Fortune Amidst Famine

Chapter 204: 204 Robbery

Su Yuanyuan pouted, ”I spent all my gold on this. In the future, even if I come across something good, I won’t have the money to trade for it.”

”Haha, honest little friend. Why don’t you stay? Follow me, and I’ll make sure you get to see good things often.”

”Lin Kun, you know this isn’t fair. Seeing them but not owning them isn’t something I want. Besides, I’m mainly here to see things. I have a lot I want to look at.”

Lin Kun just laughed. This kid was really interesting. He knew he was charming, but she was the only one who looked at him without being repulsed.

”Let’s go.” Tan Shaoting was unhappy. How could this girl be like this? So young yet staring at a man like that.

Su Yuanyuan slung her backpack on, ”Lin Kun, we’ll come back to see you if there’s a chance when we return.”

Lin Kun laughed heartily. ”Alright. I’ll be waiting. I’ll send someone to bring you then.”

Su Yuanyuan and Tan Shaoting walked out behind Lin Kun.

They coincidentally bumped into Sotun. ”Lin Kun, I’m back.”

”Mm, thank you for your hard work, Sotun. You can go back now.”

”Lin Kun, I have something to say.”

Su Yuanyuan and Tan Shaoting tactfully took their leave from Lin Kun, then departed.

However, Tan Shaoting kept his Divine Sense focused on them.

”Lin Kun, these two are stolen. I thought of letting them handle the mining.”

Lin Kun looked at Sotun. ”Your idea is good, but I like that kid, so not this time.”

Tan Shaoting was furious when he heard what Sotun said. He whispered the matter to Su Yuanyuan.

”Hmph, this Sotun is rotten to the core. He better not fall into my hands in the future.”

Tan Shaoting laughed at the girl’s fierce demeanor, ”What would you do if he did fall into your hands?”

Su Yuanyuan sighed, ”Yeah, what could I do? Let’s go.”

The two of them walked out of the village. They didn’t know that after Sotun returned, he heard that the village’s good stuff was exchanged by those two, and for just a little gold, making him very unbalanced.

So he completed his task and secretly left with two people.

There’s no way Lin Kun could be kept in the dark about matters in the village. He laughed when he heard the report.

Thinking to himself, let’s see if that little friend has any skills.

By noon, the two of them were having lunch by the roadside.

There was a forest nearby, but neither dared to go in. Who knows what’s in there?

”Yuanyuan, that thing really is a treasure. Keep it, and see if it can cultivate Spiritual Energy in a few years?”

”Tan Shaoting, do you think there’s Spiritual Energy deeper in the mine here?”

Tan Shaoting shook his head, ”I don’t know, I can’t sense it.”

For lunch, they had eight-treasure porridge, and Tan Shaoting had two donkey meat sandwiches.

”Let’s rest for a while. The sun is too harsh here. I finally understand why everyone here is so dark.”

”Okay. We’ll rest here. Do you want to nap on me?” This girl sure likes to sleep.

”Sure, I’ll take a nap.” She genuinely admired Tan Shaoting, as he didn’t need to sleep.

After an hour, Su Yuanyuan woke up. She took out two bottles of juice. Although it was a carbonated drink, he hadn’t drunk any before, so he wanted to try it.

Tan Shaoting didn’t like the taste very much; he wasn’t fond of sweets.

Just as they finished drinking, Su Yuanyuan noticed Tan Shaoting frowning.

”What’s wrong? Too bad tasting?”

”Sotun is heading this way with two people.”

Su Yuanyuan raised her eyebrows, ”Are they coming after us?”

”Seems like it, right?”

Su Yuanyuan flexed her wrists, ”I was just thinking of dealing with him, and here he comes looking for us. Really don’t know what to say.”

Tan Shaoting helplessly looked at the girl, ”Come on, let’s walk while we wait. What do you want to do?”

”Of course, we’re going to rob him. Also, we don’t know the situation here. If we beat him, won’t he tell us the truth?”

”That’s a way.”

The two of them walked forward as if nothing was wrong, laughing and joking. Honestly, Tan Shaoting didn’t think much of these three people.

After about five minutes, Sotun caught up with them on horseback.

Seeing Sotun riding up, Su Yuanyuan thought they wouldn’t need to walk anymore. They now had a means of transport.

”Stop, hand over that Purple Jade. And all the gold you have.”

Su Yuanyuan hid behind Tan Shaoting in terror, though secretly she was sneering. Sotun’s approach was really ugly.

Tan Shaoting smiled, ”If you want our things, you’ll have to come and take them yourself.”

The other two were slightly on guard. If these two youngsters dared to come here alone, it meant they had some skill. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be so arrogant, would they?

Sotun didn’t take them seriously at all. After dismounting, he directly charged at Tan Shaoting.

The two instantly engaged in combat. Sotun was decent, but depending on who he compared to, within a few minutes, he was knocked down.

Su Yuanyuan walked over and stepped on Sotun’s back.

The other two also dismounted upon seeing this.

Sotun still wanted to struggle, but Su Yuanyuan pressed harder with her foot. She took a rope out of her bag and tossed it to Tan Shaoting.

”I’ll keep an eye on these two. You tie him up, I don’t know how.” She said it so confidently.

Tan Shaoting took the rope and bound Sotun within seconds.

The other two actually wanted to make a move once they got down, but they didn’t expect this little one to pull out a dagger, which was evidently valuable. For a moment, they hesitated.

During this time, Tan Shaoting had already tied up Sotun.

He then went forward; the two exchanged a glance. They attacked Tan Shaoting together.

The two were about the same skill level as Sotun, but it didn’t take Tan Shaoting long to knock them both down as well.

Next, Su Yuanyuan stepped on one of them again, leaving the rest for Tan Shaoting to tie up.

Throughout the process, Sotun was cursing and yelling.

Once all three were bound, Su Yuanyuan squatted in front of Sotun with a smile.

”Robbery. Hand over everything you’ve got.”

Sotun was furious, but he was also secretly relieved. Luckily, they chased after them in a hurry and didn’t have much on them.

Su Yuanyuan smiled at Sotun’s expression, ”Got nothing, huh? Sorry about that.” As she spoke, she took the dagger and aimed it directly at Sotun.

Sotun was so scared he flinched to the side. His ear got injured, and it started bleeding.

It hurt for real. Sotun was so scared his face turned pale.

Tan Shaoting directly knocked the other two unconscious. Here, identity was extremely important, and generally, nobody knew any valuable information. So he directly knocked them out.
