Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 666  Peter

Peter was also a relocation householder. Although he was a neighbor, their relationship had never been good. It was said that there had been quite a few conflicts before.

Peterʼs wife had passed away. His son worked in another district of Guang City, so he moved to live with his son and rented out this house.

He hadnʼt been seen for a while, so the household had been relatively peaceful. Unexpectedly, as soon as he returned, he started causing trouble again.

The property management security guard, who was well-informed, said, ”Peterʼs house lease ended. His sonʼs rental place near his workplace also expired.”

”Peterʼs son is temporarily staying at the work unit while looking for a new place. He plans to come back and live here for ten days to half a month, then move again once he finds a house.”

”This damn old man, starting trouble the moment heʼs back!”

Nancyʼs expression also turned very unpleasant.

Luis had heard some things. This old man was eccentric and a lecher, often staring at the Wood familyʼs mother and daughter.

One time, a conflict broke out when he got drunk and tried to take advantage of Nancy. Back then, the sister-in-law was still a student but had inherited her motherʼs fiery temperament. She didnʼt hesitate and slapped him right across the face.

The mother-in-law, being a strong-willed single mother, directly led people to block his door and curse him out, practically making it impossible for him to continue living there.

The two families lived upstairs and downstairs, but there were constant minor frictions, almost always caused by this damned old man picking fights.

Even when the family was already asleep, he would knock on the door late at night, complaining that walking in high heels was disturbing him.

Or when they hung laundry outside, he would complain that water from the balcony was dripping onto his place.

Ruth was not the type to back down for the sake of peace. Every time, the fights got very intense, to the point where the two families were practically at odds with each other.

At this moment, Ruth said, ”This old bastard. I knew a petty man like him wouldnʼt let things go easily.”

After asking, they found out that Peter had gone to a teahouse today to play cards with his relatives.

He always had bad manners when playing cards. He was slow, naggy, and loved owing money. Before, at the card table, the mother-in-law had clashed with him, and they had since cut off all contact.

This time, when he came, following the principle of treating guests with courtesy, she greeted him politely enough.

But then, when settling the room fee, he insisted on reducing 136 dollars to 100 dollars, claiming that he hadnʼt caught the opening discount and that this was compensation.

Normally, in her own business, if he had just said a few nice words for the sake of harmony and good fortune, Ruth might have generously waived the fee since it was his first time.

But instead, he complained that he had lost money today and blamed it on the place being unlucky, saying it was only reasonable for her to give him a discount.

With that temper of hers, Ruth was not going to indulge him. She directly unleashed a torrent of abuse, told him to get lost, and didnʼt even want his money.

With the mother-in-lawʼs sharp tongue, she certainly didnʼt say anything pleasant. She probably told him that if he had no money, he shouldnʼt come out and make a fool of himself.

This made Peter lose immense face in front of his relatives. One person, feeling very embarrassed, paid the bill. From their words, it seemed he might be a future in-law or something.

Peter also started cursing loudly, but he was pulled away by that future in-law.

They thought the matter was over, but unexpectedly, his son came back to get revenge for the old man.

Minda couldnʼt help but laugh bitterly. While brewing some tea, she said, ”This old man hasnʼt even paid his property management fees yet. Heʼs been away so long, he has no idea what the situation is now.”

”Offend our boss? Nothing good will come of that for him.”

Minda was just about to call someone to tow the car. Seeing how angry the mother-in-law and sister-in-law were, Luis figured the old man must have cursed them out terribly.

”Wait a minute!”

Luis stroked his chin and said with a sly grin, ”Peterʼs family doesnʼt have much money. This Benz probably isnʼt his, right?”

An old model Benz isnʼt worth much, but itʼs still quite rare. Usually, only old-school rich people or old-time thugs like them. What young rich person would buy such a piece of junk?

The security guard, who knew everything, chuckled and said, ”Definitely not. Itʼs his sonʼs bossʼs car.”

The son, Pete, had been introduced to work as a driver for the boss of a small real estate company in the city. After dropping out of high school, heʼd been driving for several years, becoming quite close to the boss.

Through an introduction, he was set up on a blind date with a girl who was a teacher. The son was somewhat good-looking, so things were starting to look promising.

The girlʼs family was financially comfortable, and her appearance was reportedly good. Definitely considered a stroke of incredible luck for the Peng family. Peter couldnʼt wait to show off as soon as he returned.

Moreover, the sonʼs boss was willing to give him a leg up. He offered Pete an internal price for a small three-bedroom apartment. After the father and son scraped together enough for the down payment, theyʼd only need to pay the monthly installment.

After all, their relocation house here only had one bedroom and one living room. It was inconvenient not just for living together but also if they ever had children.

They came back to stay for a while, planning to sell this relocation house to subsidize the renovation costs of the new place. Then Peter could enjoy his golden years with his family.

”A driver, huh!”

Luis smiled viciously and said, ”Mom, then letʼs not tow the car!”

”Not tow it? Let him off that easily?”

Ruthʼs eyes widened, and Nancy also looked reluctant to let it go.

Minda, however, smiled very charmingly. She knew Luis was not someone who played nice.

”Heheh. In the past, things always blew over without resolution. Frankly, Mom, youʼve endured so much anger. This time, as your son-in-law, Iʼll make sure you get proper revenge...”

With a mischievous grin, Luis dialed his father-in-lawʼs number. Occasionally, he needed to feel a bit useful, too.

In the middle of the night, truck after truck drove quietly into the community.

The property management cooperated, driving the vehicles without making a sound. They truly sneaked into the village without firing a shot.

Arthur arrived with a few workers. Even though it was the dead of night, for a small job paying a thousand dollars each, even men tucked warmly in bed with their women would crawl out for that kind of money.

”Dad...”

Luis greeted him cheerfully.

Arthur walked over, looked at the old Benz parked horizontally across the spots, frowned, and said, ”Son-in-law, if we make a big scene out of this, could there be trouble?”

Before he could finish, Ruth scolded him, ”What? Now that my family has a man to stand up for us, youʼre getting all worried?”

”Even if something happens, you wonʼt need to bother. My son-in-law is here. No one can bully us mother and daughter.”

”Back then, when things happened, you never stepped up. Now that someone else is standing up for me, you want to stop him?”

”I didnʼt mean that!”

Arthur thought for a moment and said, ”I donʼt know if theyʼll come causing trouble first thing tomorrow morning. How about I stay here tonight? That way, my son-in-law wonʼt have to face them alone.”

Ruthʼs tone softened a bit then. She snorted, ”Now that sounds like something a human would say.”

After all, it was two against two, father and son, and Pete was said to have been in the military. She was also worried that if it came to a real fight, her son-in-law might get the short end of the stick.

The bricks were delivered, and the workers got to work quickly.

They didnʼt care what he was doing, as long as they got paid. And theyʼd already been paid five hundred dollars upfront, more than their daily wage.

In the dead of night, they were all as energetic as if theyʼd been injected with adrenaline, sweating hard and working with full motivation.

Instead of just towing the car away and letting things slide to keep the peace, Luis played dirty to please his mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

He not only put a wheel lock on the car but also had three one-and-a-half-meter-high walls built around the two parking spaces.

Sure, you might be able to remove the wheel lock, but you canʼt tear down the walls, can you? Since itʼs their own parking space, with the property managementʼs permission, if you dare to tear down the walls, thatʼs destruction of someone elseʼs property.

The workersʼ wages alone came to five thousand dollars, plus the cost of the cement and bricks.

His father-in-lawʼs company could issue official invoices, which would be solid, irrefutable evidence.

If they so much as touched it, theyʼd be looking at a long prison sentence. Thanks to the influence of Sister-in-law Winslet, Luis learned how to use the law as a weapon against people.

Of course, having a powerful backer like Hail made him feel extremely confident.

The workers were busy as bees, with the property management security guard helping keep an eye on things. So Luis didnʼt need to stay there and worry.
