Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1115: Foxes

The Overseer could tell why the head of one of her foxes hadnʼt recovered.

The Major Law of Death.

The Overseerʼs usual strategy in battle was to generate several familiars, which emulated her beast form. Since these familiars were almost alive, they could also regenerate Energy. These familiars were essentially attacks that kept launching new attacks, potentially giving infinite return on a finite investment of Energy.

She would send her familiars after her enemies, keeping them busy. Meanwhile, she would use her Energy and her Domain to heal and support them. If the fight went well, she could even recover enough Energy to summon even more familiars.

Yet, the Major Law of Death had proved to be an issue. Since the Energy of her familiars was separate from her own Energy, they would also use their own Energy to recover. Sadly, this was not possible with that particular fox.

It was almost like that fox wasnʼt supposed to have a head. Based on reality, that fox was completely healthy.

The Overseer used her own Energy, and moments later, the fox grew a new head. Technically, the foxʼs head didnʼt recover. Instead, the Overseer had granted it a new head. This kind of recovery was fundamentally different. Instead of repairing a machine, the machine received a completely new module, which it hadnʼt had before.

Naturally, this cost the Overseer some Energy, but she could still deal with the expenditure.

On the other side, Red swung his hammer again, and one of the two foxes launched its own attack in response.

The foxʼs claws exploded, its muscles and bones scattering. The hammer and Red remained uninjured.
Yet, Red was facing two foxes, not one. The other fox gathered immense amounts of Energy and launched a concentrated beam of mixed Elements. This time, Red couldnʼt pull his hammer up again.

Suddenly, the reality between Red and the attack warped as Redʼs Energy dropped.

Red had activated his External Complex Law, which was made of the Primordial Forces. The Overseerʼs Domain fought Redʼs Primordial Force Law, but Redʼs Law overwhelmed the Overseerʼs Domain. A Domainʼs greatest strength wasnʼt its raw power, but the fact that it didnʼt need any Energy to be used. Most Complex Laws could overpower a Domain, but this signified only a temporary advantage in exchange for a loss of resources.

The concentrated beam of Energy split into countless tiny beams, which were slowed to different speeds. Each beam hit Red at a different time, but he remained uninjured. The Energy inside the attack was the same as before, but its destructive powers had been mitigated. This was the difference between getting punched ten times by a small man weighing ten kilos and getting punched one time by a man weighing a hundred kilos.

Sadly, this move had cost Red almost 10% of his stored Energy.

BOOOOM!

Blackʼs hammer demolished its opponentʼs claws and arms, and the Overseer was forced to invest more Energy. At the same time, she also used her Domain to heal the fox that Red had injured.

The Overseerʼs brows furrowed as she realized something.

ʼMy expenditure and recovery are equal. Keeping the fox alive takes too much Energy. I need to deal with the black Avatar first!ʼ

One of the foxes battling Red left and charged towards Black, while the other fox attacked Red to keep him at bay.

When Kyle saw that, a glimmer appeared in his Avatarsʼ eyes.

The reality around Red warped, and the speed of his strike increased tremendously. At the same time, he lost another 10% of his Energy.

BANG!

The foxʼs right front leg and a big chunk of its chest exploded as the hammer moved through it.

The Overseer just used her Domain-

Redʼs hammer suddenly burst with all Elemental Energies, and the bits of gore in front of Red turned into a storm of scattered Elemental Energies, which rushed towards his hammer. While the fox was alive, its existence had the Overseerʼs will on it. Yet, the destroyed parts were not part of the fox anymore, which meant that they were willless bits of Elemental Energy.

Seekers could consume Elemental Energies to a certain degree, but their ability was very limited. They needed to break down the Elemental Energy and convert it into a kind of Energy they could use. Additionally, the speed of their consumption couldnʼt even rival the consumption speed of a beast.

However, Kyleʼs hammers were not just humans.

They were also Elementals.

If these were actual living beings,Kyle wouldnʼt be able to consume these bits of gore easily. After all, they would be made of actual bone, flesh, blood, and skin.

Yet, these foxes were just temporary quasi-lifeforms. As soon as there was no will on them anymore, they would rapidly collapse, turning back into Immortal Elemental Energies.

The Overseerʼs eyes widened in horror as she witnessed Redʼs hammer consuming almost all of the broken Energy. Her Domain tried to revert time and restore the Energies to a previous state, but she couldnʼt! The Energies that Redʼs hammer had consumed now had Kyleʼs will on them, which meant she couldnʼt control them!

At the same time, she also noticed that the density of Redʼs Energy was increasing, which meant that he was recovering Energy! How?!

Then, she realized what was happening. ʼThe hammer is not just a weapon! Itʼs an Avatar! Even more, it counts as an Elemental and a human!ʼ

Being struck by the hammer was similar to entering a beastʼs maw. The Energies broke down and were consumed.

However, the Overseer also noticed that Red hadnʼt used that ability before. There had to be a reason behind it.

Meanwhile, Black broke the head of another fox, but at the same time, he also barely managed to block the attack of the second fox. His Energy dropped considerably, and if things didnʼt change, he would be overwhelmed.

Redʼs fox recovered quickly, but its total Energy had dropped. It had lost almost 20% of its total Energy in that clash.

The Overseer realized that things didnʼt look great. While Black was losing Energy rapidly, Red was gaining Energy. Additionally, she couldnʼt recover enough Energy to summon a fourth fox. If things kept going like this, Red would kill his opponent before the other foxes could kill Black.

At the same time, she also noticed certain differences between the two Avatars.

The red oneʼs hammer consumed Energy, while the black oneʼs hammer destroyed Energy.

The sheer power of the red oneʼs hammer was significantly greater than the power of the black oneʼs hammer, but the black oneʼs hammer completely eradicated Energy.

ʼFierce Breaker and Kyle. They are two different entities,ʼ the Overseer realized. ʼThey also have different powers.ʼ

ʼI can take advantage of that!ʼ

A fierce storm of dissolving Energy appeared in front of Red as the fox readied a desperation attack.

This fox held almost 30% of the Overseerʼs total Energy. If it detonated, it would be over for Red.

The fox charged towards him, and moments later, it detonated.

A smirk appeared on Redʼs face, and then...

His hammer turned black.

The fox detonated, and an apocalyptic stream of destructive Energies shot towards Red.

Redʼs black hammer hit the brutal stream of Energy.

The hammer slowed more and more as the stream of Energy continued. Moments later, the hammer stopped moving.

The power of Redʼs Refined Law was used up, but the beam of Energy kept going. When Death had consumed the first part of the beam, its power had been nullified, but now a terrifying wave of Energy washed past the hammer, covering Red.

Parts of Redʼs existence shot into the distance, his Energy dropping rapidly.

CRK!

Cracks appeared on the hammer.,While it was the hardest material in Ayuvar, resisting such an intense explosion of Energy was still too much.

BANG!

Suddenly, the hammerʼs outer shell broke and joined the bits of Redʼs existence that flew into the distance.

The beam still hadnʼt ended. Its multicolored stream of destruction enveloped the red bits of Energy from Red and the black pieces of the hammer.

The streams spread and continued flying into the distance. Countless mortal towns and cities were in its path.

BOOOOOOM!

The Mortals hadnʼt even realized what had happened. One moment, everything was fine, and in the next...

A cone of destroyed ground extended over a million kilometers.

Trillions of Mortals died.

The Seekers had already realized something was going on because of the chaos in the worldʼs Energy flow. Some of them had decided to investigate, but after they had felt this violent stream of Energy, they decided to flee.

BANG!

The stream of Energy ended, and Red was pushed back.

He had lost almost 50% of his Energy, and even his hammer had lost 20% of its Energy. It was still in one piece, but it would need to recover.

When the Overseer saw that, she gritted her teeth.

She had fallen for Kyleʼs trick!

If she had known that Red could also use the Major Law of Death, she wouldnʼt have detonated her fox!

Her Domain activated again, and the fox healed. Yet, it only recovered with half of its power.

This was not enough to threaten Red, and she knew it.

The Overseer had to change her strategy.

BANG!

Just when Red launched another attack, the fox suddenly turned into Elemental Energies, which flew back towards the Overseer. The Overseerʼs Energy storage returned to 25% of her maximum, and then...

BANG!

The Overseer arrived in front of Red in almost an instant.

A long saber appeared in her hands, and she slashed forward.

She had decided to make use of her superior physical power. She knew that she didnʼt need to kill Red. She only needed to keep him busy.

If she could keep Red busy, Black would eventually get overwhelmed by the two foxes, and even if he didnʼt...

She could just detonate both of them.
