A thunderous and resonant Dragon Roar suddenly reverberated across the night sky, followed by a terrifying Dragon Prestige spreading into the surroundings.

Sudden lightning and thunder appeared in the depths of the sky. However, more terrifying than this were the two dreadful auras soaring into the sky.

Seemingly aware of something, Yu Zi Yu, rooted deep in the canyon, slowly raised his eyes.

In a flash, crossing space and time, Yu Zi Yu clearly saw a Black Dragon and a Purple Dragon quietly confronting each other in the sky.

“You two just met, and are already ready to fight…” Yu Zi Yu smiled in his heart, but he did not pay much attention to it, and instead, he rolled up a root.

*Swoosh…* With a swooshing sound, another Mutant Kangaroo was dragged underground by Yu Zi Yu’s root. Then, with crisp shattering sounds, the Tier-3 Mutant Kangaroo was crushed to death, reduced into a mangled pile of flesh and blood, becoming nutrients for Yu Zi Yu.

Listening to the cold, synthetic System prompt, Yu Zi Yu’s lips curled.

Certainly, slaughter was the fastest way to gain Evolution Points. As for his passive gains, without doing anything, Yu Zi Yu could only gain around 100,000 Evolution Points per day.

*Tsk…* Clicking his tongue, Yu Zi Yu shook his head imperceptibly. [There seems to be something about my cheat; it’s encouraging me to slaughter. But, now’s not the time to think about these things.]

Shifting his attention, Yu Zi Yu looked at his status screen. [Although I’ve become a Tier-5 Transcendent, my various abilities have not undergone essential improvements yet. During this time, I should upgrade them.]

Thinking of this, Yu Zi Yu promptly stated, “System, upgrade my roots and branches right away…”

Hearing this, Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but narrow his eyes.

“50 million Evolution Points…” Muttering to himself, a pained expression flashed across Yu Zi Yu’s face.

50 million Evolution Points was definitely not a small number. Even though his legions had brought back their prey for him to slaughter in recent days, Yu Zi Yu’s Evolution Points had just exceeded 100 million. Upgrading his roots and branches would consume half of it.

However, considering that he would be enhancing thousands of branches and 81 secondary roots at once, Yu Zi Yu took a deep breath and confirmed, “Upgrade them.”

As soon as he gave his confirmation, with a loud bang, an incredible energy that made Yu Zi Yu squint surged from deep within his body.

Visible to the naked eye, each of Yu Zi Yu’s branches began to flicker with a faint light. At the same time, his eighty-one secondary roots began to spread deeper into the earth like Giant Pythons.

They were growing thicker and stronger.

—

*Boom, boom, boom…* Amidst intense tremors, the earth centered on Yu Zi Yu began to quake.

It was not just quaking. If one looked around, they would see the entire desert cracking at a speed visible to the naked eye. Every now and then, a deafening boom would occur, before a Flood Dragon-like black figure would suddenly break out of the ground and soar into the sky.

That was when the power surged to its peak, Yu Zi Yu was unable to resist letting out a roar to the sky. He was also feeling a kind of indescribable excitement.

“Ahhhhhh” With inexplicable roars, one of Yu Zi Yu’s secondary root started changing, transforming into a hundreds o -meters long Titanoboa, roaring in the night sky.

On the other side…

*Boom, boom, boom…* One after another, Yu Zi Yu’s roots tore through the ground.

The entire desert seemed like doomsday, and countless Mutant Beasts began a desperate exodus.

But before they could flee far…

*Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh…* Yu Zi Yu’s countless rootlets transformed into Giant Pythons and started attacking those Mutant Beasts, as if they had come to life.

“No, don’t…”

“What kind of monster is this…”

Desperate cries and wails filled the air. Countless Mutant Beasts couldn’t help but shudder in fear.

However, unfortunately, in the face of Yu Zi Yu’s current power, all struggles were futile.

*Squish, squish…* Root tendrils pierced flesh, sucking copious amounts of blood. Flesh and blood, along with Spiritual Energy, were devoured, leaving only dry, cracked skin to flutter down, silently conveying something.

…

Just as Yu Zi Yu’s countless roots went on a rampage due to the enhancement…

“What a terrifying aura…” Muttering to himself, in the depths of Australia, within a kingdom built by Mutant Kangaroos, a figure seated high on the throne stood up.

Unlike ordinary Kangaroos, he was 4-5 meters tall, his entire body was golden, bright, and dazzling, and his pupils were golden, with a tint of red…

He was the absolute King among Mutant Kangaroos, stepping into Tier-4 during the Third Spiritual Energy Tide.

Accompanied by Heaven and Earth Spirit Treasures, he was one of the few True Kings of this continent.

He didn’t show any hesitation, there wasn’t even less room for hesitation. The northern half of the desert was the territory of the Kangaroo Kingdom. The powerful aura emerging now was not a good sign for him.

*Haaaaaa…* Taking a deep breath, the Mutant Kangaroo King kicked the ground and shot towards the desert, turning into a golden streak of light, tearing through the air.

Following closely behind him were eighteen riders, the top eighteen warriors of the Kangaroo Kingdom.

The strongest rider among them was also a Tier-4 Transcendent.

Two beasts, one light and one dark, created a belligerent kingdom, dominating the region with their iron fist.

…

At the same time, deep within a volcano…

*Quack, quack…* Strange cries suddenly resounded through the sky, causing even the volcano to boil.

*Boom, boom, boom…* Even the magma pool began to boil.

At this moment, a three-meter-tall red figure slowly rose.

It was very strange, because it was just a duck.

Even so, this duck caused the temperature of the air to skyrocket, as if it were about to ignite.

It was the Duck-Billed Platypus, a true living fossil. It was known to have existed in the world 250 million years ago, a true Atavistic Mutant Beasts.

Currently, after the Third Spiritual Energy Tide, this silly-looking platypus had once again reverted, undergoing an Atavism far beyond what Human Theories had speculated.

Not existing in this era, but existing even far past that, this kind of Atavism was called ‘Ancient Atavism.’
