In the blink of an eye, ten days had gone by.

During these ten days, various Clans from Misty Mountains had returned one after another.

Surprisingly, the leading clan, the Chimpanzee Clan, had slain a Tier-3 Sovereign.

Moreover, this Mutant Beast was none other than the infamous Dire Bear, one of the Ten Monstrosities known across the continent for its ferocity.

The Dire Bear stood over 10 meters tall and was renowned for its 5-6 meters long claws.

Rumor had it that its claws could tear even the sky, a claim that seemed exaggerated but was validated by the Chimpanzee Clan. Every time it swung its limbs, its claws tore apart the space. Its terrifying power was simply appalling.

It was only because the strongest Clan of the Misty Mountains, the Chimpanzee Clan, encountered it that it could be killed. This feat was accomplished thanks to their formidable Physique and close coordination.

Any other Clan would have faced significant trouble.

“These renowned Mutant Beasts are indeed formidable. Be more careful next time.” Noticing the deep wounds on the chests of the Chimpanzees, Yu Zi Yu also felt helpless, and then, extended his branches.

Immediately afterward, raindrops like countless green specks enveloped them.

Such injuries couldn’t be healed with just a drop or two drops of Life Essence; they required the power of vitality to mend.

After pacifying the Chimpanzee Clan, Yu Zi Yu reminded them to be mindful of the upcoming Third Spiritual Energy Tide.

His consciousness returned back to his Tree Body as he continued his exploration of the unknown void, space. Or more accurately, to prepare for the majestic and endless nine-colored Spiritual Energy.

…

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Yu Zi Yu, on the desolate and lifeless Moon, a glimmer of nine-colored glow had begun to shine.

This nine-colored glow seemed to be seeping from the void, like an erosion of an unknown force. And just as it descended, it rendered the surrounding void hazy.

Vaguely, the concentration of Spiritual Energy began to increase at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Spiritual Energy turning into mist was not a legend. It had happened during the Second Spiritual Energy Tide. However, the fact that a mere trace of nine-colored glow could transform an entire area’s Spiritual Energy into mist was beyond extraordinary.

Nonetheless, this wasn’t the most remarkable event.

Simply because, amidst this mist, a cracking sound, resembling the breaking of an eggshell, the ground slowly cracked apart.

Immediately after, a silver-white bud broke the Moon’s soil and emerged from the ground.

It was a sapling, silver-white in color, and with a cold and frosty luster. Upon a closer look, every bit of it was covered in snowflakes and frost.

The act of the sapling breaking out of the Moon’s surface seemed to have shaken the entire Moon.

*Boom, boom, boom…* The ground began to shake, with increasingly intense tremors. More astonishing was the visible Spiritual Energy storm that had formed around the sapling, swirling violently.

*Whoosh…* Accompanied by howls of wind, the surrounding Spiritual Energy surged towards the sapling, pouring down on it like a fountain.

Consecration would be more apt to describe this.

Amidst this terrifying phenomenon, the sapling was also thriving at a rapid pace. Within a few breaths, it had grown to tens of meters tall. Furthermore, its growth was showing no signs of stopping, rather it was growing at an even more terrifying speed.

*Boooom, boooom…* With continuous rumbles, an immense Tree shot up from the ground, a cold and lonely Tree.

The massive Tree stood silently atop a cliff, exuding an air of chilly aloofness, like a cold and proud beauty quietly watching over something.

Faintly, the surroundings grew even colder.

To be more accurate, the entire planet grew colder.

It was so cold as if it had descended into the depths of the underworld, capable of freezing even Souls.

…

As the Towering Tree rose from the ground on the Moon, deep within Misty Mountains, a crimson eye slowly opened, dyeing the surroundings red all of a sudden.

In a moment, seemingly crossing space, Yu Zi Yu’s crimson eye caught sight of a vague outline of a Tree on the bright Moon.

It was neither an illusion nor a mirage, it was very much real.

“It grew…” Yu Zi Yu murmured, a faint smirk playing on his lips.

Vaguely, he felt an extremely weak connection. It was not continuous, but very much real.

It was the Blood Covenant.

It was the Third Apostle after the Flame Elemental, Aisha, and the Chinese Prodigy, codenamed Owl, Lin Zi Yi.

Yu Zi Yu had already signed a covenant with it even before it had gained sentience.

However, it was to be expected. An Atavistic Sweet Osmanthus Tree was nothing less than a Heaven and Earth Spirit Tree.

Such entities were difficult to subdue without an early contract, even with Yu Zi Yu’s current abilities.

At this moment, through this faint connection, Yu Zi Yu sensed that the aura of this Sweet Osmanthus Tree had already reached the level of Tier-3, and it was rapidly increasing at a terrifying pace.

“Tsk…” Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but click his tongue, feeling that when the Sweet Osmanthus Tree would reappear in the world, it would surely dominate the era.

However, it was still too early to say. After all, despite its fearsome aura, its sentience was still incubating. It would take a long time for the real thing to appear.

…

At this moment, not only Yu Zi Yu but also various Human nations had sensed the anomaly.

*Beep, beep, beep…*

Urgent warning alarms started ringing, spurring each Spiritual Energy monitoring facility into action.

“Alert, alert, anomaly detected on the Moon.”

“Alert, alert, anomaly detected on the Moon.”

…

Amidst the successive notifications, each staff member hurried to their stations.

Since ancient times, Humanity has been studying and observing the Moon.

After the advent of the Era of Transcendence, Humans had not abandoned observing the Moon, the only celestial body that Humans could observe at all times.

Of course, landing on the Moon like in ancient times was somewhat difficult now, but Spiritual Energy monitoring was not.

Through Spiritual Energy monitoring equipment, they had already detected the sudden and rapid increase in the density of the Moon’s Spiritual Energy.

If the original Spiritual Energy density was 0.1, it had now reached 0.5, even 0.6.

At this moment, as if receiving some terrible news, a staff member suddenly gulped hard before shouting out in shock, “Report, I just received a message from the Astronomical Observatory. They said they saw a giant Tree rising from the Moon’s surface…”
