Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1092: Three Beasts

”Big brother, why are all the beasts here so docile and calm?” Xu Ling’er asked as she patted a small emerald-scaled pangolin beast at the foundation rank.

Zhang Fei squatted beside her and patted the beast, which was acting like a house dog. ”I don’t understand why all the beasts in this place are acting like this, but this is good, right? If these beasts had their wild instincts like they do in the outside world, this place would be in chaos because of them.”

”Big brother.”

Zhang Fei turned to Wu Lianzhi. ”Why are you calling me big brother now? Didn’t you say before that you would continue calling me Long’er?”

”Hehe.” Wu Lianzhi giggled and hugged him from behind. ”Back then, I wasn’t your wife yet, right? My mother said that I couldn’t keep addressing you as Long’er after we got married, so I chose to address you as a big brother like Ling’er.”

Zhang Fei shook his head at that. ”Actually, it’s fine if you want to call me whatever you want. By the way, you don’t have a beast contract yet, right? If you find a beast that catches your eye here, you can just tell me, and I’ll help you form a contract with it.”

”I haven’t found a suitable beast yet, Big Brother.” Wu Lianzhi looked around at the vast area before them. ”This place is much wider than I imagined, and it’s more like a domain within a domain. Moreover, you haven’t found a suitable place to leave the egg, so we can search for that place while I look for a beast that suits my taste.”

Zhang Fei immediately lifted Xu Ling’er to her feet, and the three of them continued their journey, exploring all areas of the place.

All the beasts in the middle area were just as tame as those they encountered in the outer area, which confused Zhang Fei and the two women because it seemed like the beasts lacked any wild instincts. The beast rank got higher the deeper they went, and their cultivation also got higher.

Soon, they arrived at the central area of the place, where they saw a giant old banyan tree standing tall in the middle. Xu Ling’er immediately pointed to three beasts lying leisurely under the tree. ”Big brother! Look at those beasts! They are mythical-rank beasts, right?”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei nodded at her. ”Sunfire Emperor Behemoth, Tusked War Elephant Tiger, and Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant are all mythical-rank beasts. Actually, I detected several other mythical-rank beasts in this place, but they are spread across several areas, as are those divine-rank beasts.”

”Big brother! I want the Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant as my contract beast!” Wu Lianzhi pointed at the beast with eyes sparkling like stars.

According to data in the system, the Sunfire Emperor Behemoth was a colossal creature born from the core flames of the Sun Star. Its eyes were burning like twin blazing suns, and its mane was covered with golden flame, which was similar almost to the Golden Crow Flame. It has three flame-carved horns, and it has a fiery comet-like tail. It has a proud, majestic, and wrathful character. It will only be subject to those who have a strong will and unyielding character.

The Tusked War Elephant Tiger was a fearsome hybrid born from an ancient bloodline fusion between the Tusked Elephant and the Mountain War Tiger. It has an enormous and muscular physique, covered in thick, granite-like striped hide. It has burning amber eyes, framed by a short armored trunk and dual curved tusks. Its ivory tusks curved forward like blades, with a rugged black mane covering its body. It has an elephantine proboscis, with a sharp tip like a blade. It has a long, powerful, club-like tail.

The Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant was a sovereign of the upper skies; not even the Azure Emperor Roc could compete with it. Its body was sleek yet heavily muscled, draped in red feathers. Its eyes were sharp gold, but the third eye in the center glowed a deep violet, capable of seeing the most hidden truths. Its long and wide wings were bladed and feathered with mirrored scales; they slashed the wind like sabers. It has a long, whip-like tail with a crescent blade at the tip. Its talons were razor-sharp, capable of crushing the hardest metal with ease.

The three beasts opened their eyes as Zhang Fei and the two women approached; just like all the other beasts they had encountered before, they did not display any aggressiveness.

The Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant looked at Wu Lianzhi with its golden eyes and appeared curious about her. Meanwhile, his third eye focused on Zhang Fei, but it trembled when it discovered something from him.

Sensing the fear of the Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant, the Sunfire Emperor Behemoth and the Tusked War Elephant Tiger looked at Zhang Fei. Just like their friend, the two beasts also trembled in fear as soon as they felt the terror of his aura, which came from his identity as the Calamity Demon Dragon.

”Calm down.” Zhang Fei immediately released his light element and heavenly fox aura, spreading them to cover the area. He then led the two women closer to the three beasts, but they were still afraid of him. ”I am the owner of this place, and I won’t harm anyone. Therefore, you guys can calm down and don’t be so afraid of me, okay?”

The three beasts nodded to Zhang Fei, and Wu Lianzhi immediately approached the Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant, patting its head. ”Don’t be afraid, okay? Big brother’s calamity demon dragon aura is indeed terrifying for beasts like the three of you, but he won’t hurt you. By the way, I want you to be my contract beast. Are you willing?”

The Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant looked surprised when it heard that, and it turned to Zhang Fei, who shook his head. ”My wife wants you to be her contract beast, but I won’t force you to accept it. You can decide for yourself. However, you will gain many benefits by becoming her contract beast, and you will become stronger than you are now. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to evolve into an immortal-rank beast in the future, so you should think carefully about it first.”

When they heard that Zhang Fei could help them evolve into immortal-rank beasts, the Sunfire Emperor Behemoth and the Tusked War Elephant Tiger looked at him with pleading gazes, which made the two women giggle at their behavior.

Xu Ling’er directly spoke to Zhang Fei. ”Big Brother, you already have quite a lot of contract beasts and beast wives. Meanwhile, most of our sisters don’t have a contract beast yet, so I think you can bring them here, and these two beasts can choose two of them who are worthy of being their masters.”

”Yeah, you’re right.” Zhang Fei first walked under the banyan tree and placed the mysterious egg and incubator there, making the three beasts curious. ”You two stay here for a while, and I’ll bring them here.”

After Zhang Fei disappeared, Wu Lianzhi took out some beast pills he had given her earlier, showing them to The Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant. ”These pills are very beneficial for beasts, and I will give them to you if you are willing to become my contract beast. Moreover, my big brother has long been a Celestial Rank alchemist, and he has so many precious pills.”

”Back off a bit.” Xu Ling’er said as she pulled Wu Lianzhi back as the Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant’s body glowed.

Soon, the Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant transformed into a mature woman. She has a mature, beautiful face with fair skin. Her eyes were long and slightly sharp, giving her a confident expression. Her long red hair was tied in a high ponytail, flowing behind her like her feathers. A golden ornament sits on her forehead. Her body was tall and slim, with an athletic build. Her waist was narrow, and her curves were natural but not exaggerated. Her breasts were modestly full but not overly large. She wore a fitted battle outfit that blended flowing white and red fabric with ornate golden armor.

”Wow! Pretty!” Wu Lianzhi and Xu Ling’er exclaimed in unison. The two exchanged glances, thought the same thing in their minds, and giggled at the thought. ”Hehehe.”

”Are you really going to give those pills to me if I’m willing to become your beast contract?” The Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant asked in a soft but deep voice.

”Yes.” Wu Lianzhi nodded to her. ”My big brother concocted these pills, and many beasts on our side are already enjoying their benefits. If you are willing to become my contract beast, I will give them to you. By the way, what is your name, Big Sis?”

”Sha Huoyan.”

”My name is Wu Lianzhi.” Wu Lianzhi then embraced her sister. ”Xu Ling’er is my sister, and we are both our big brother’s wives.”

The two other beasts, the Sunfire Emperor Behemoth and the Tusked War Elephant Tiger, hastily transformed into humans as well.

The Sunfire Emperor Behemoth turned into a woman with a pale face. She has long, straight, and golden-red hair. Her eyes were burning like twin blazing suns. Her figure was tall with an hourglass shape—slim waist, wide hips, and a strong upper body. Her breasts were well-defined, naturally accentuated by the tight-fitting red and gold armor she wore. A sharp golden crown rested on her head.

On the other hand, the Tusked War Elephant Tiger transformed into a young man with a robust and tall figure. He has two sharp amber eyes. His body was covered in thick ancient armor, with two ivory tusks resting on his shoulders. He held a long iron rod with barbed tips.

”Two little girls, my name is Shou Yunzhi.” The Sunfire Emperor Behemoth introduced herself.

The Tusked War Elephant Tiger also introduced himself to them. ”My name is Xiang Zhan.”

Xu Ling’er and Wu Lianzhi sighed inwardly, especially since the Tusked War Elephant Tiger was a male beast. Naturally, Zhang Fei wouldn’t allow any of their sisters to form a contract with Xiang Zhan, especially with his possessive nature. Therefore, they had to fight over Shou Yunzhi.

”Will you also give me these pills if I’m willing to form a contract with one of you?” Shou Yanzhi asked.

Xu Ling’er shook her head. ”Big Sister, I already have Hu Er as my contract beast, so I won’t form a contract with you.”

”I only want Big Sis Sha Huoyan as my contract beast.” Wu Lianzhi pulled the female beast to her side.

Shou Yanzhi looked disappointed when he heard that, but he and Xiang Zhan suddenly saw Zhang Fei moving quickly towards them, followed by dozens of women behind him.

Soon, they arrived at the place, but Zhang Fei sighed a little because Xiang Zhan was a male beast, causing all his wives to laugh as they understood his thoughts.

Xian Xianqin immediately spoke to him. ”Husband, it’s okay if one of us forms a contract with this male beast, right? You know we wouldn’t cheat on you, so you don’t need to think too much about it.”

”She’s right, husband,” Luo Yunxiao spoke as she looked at Xiang Zhan. ”Even if he becomes a contract beast for one of us, he will never live with us, and he will stay in your beast space. As Sister Xianqin said just now, we will never betray you, so you don’t need to worry about it.”

Zhou Shenxin and the others also spoke to Zhang Fei, persuading him to let Xiang Zhan make a contract with one of them.

Zhang Fei let out a soft sigh and nodded to them. ”Lianzhi has already chosen the Three-Eyed Sky Tyrant, so only the Sunfire Emperor Behemoth and the Tusked War Elephant Tiger are left now. Since there are so many of you, I’ll let them choose two of you, and I’ll look for other contract beasts for the rest in the future. Moreover, there are still so many other beasts here, and you can choose the one that suits your taste.”
