Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1062: The Supreme Bodhi Heart

(A/N: I’ve mentioned it first in Chapter 760, but I seem to have made a mistake in a few Chapters. Therefore, I will reiterate here that 1 year in the Three Mortal Realms = 50 years in the Paradise Realm.)

”What exactly do they want to discuss with Zhang Fei?” Huang Xiaoyi asked her husband once Tianshi Shengjie and Tian Huangjin left.

Luo Fenghan shook his head at her. ”We just need to wait for Zhang Fei to meet them first, and we can ask him afterward.”

”If my guess is correct, that woman wants to discuss the evil dragon.” They turned to Ma Kuangyu, who had just appeared. ”Several million years ago, the Paradise Realm and the Three Mortal Realms were one until the barrier separated the two. Like Yin and Yang, there were two dragons born in the Three Mortal Realms. The golden dragon emperor, Long Wuzhao, was born as a representation of Yang. Meanwhile, the Calamity Demon Dragon, Long Zhaihuo, was born as a representation of Yin.”

”The Calamity Demon Dragon?”

Ma Kuangyu nodded at them. ”Zhang Fei discovered Long Wuzhao’s golden shrine in the Sky Dragon Realm, one of the outermost planets in the upper realms, which is also the ancestral land of the dragon race. The Calamity Demon Dragon was sealed beneath the foot of a mountain in that realm, and the golden dragon emperor erected his shrine on the peak specifically to suppress and monitor Long Zhaihuo.”

”If the Calamity Demon Dragon is evil, why didn’t the golden dragon emperor kill him in the past? Why did he choose to seal him in that realm?” Huang Xiaoyi asked in confusion, especially since the tale of the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon was so extraordinary.

”Xiaoyi, you must have heard of Long Wuzhao’s character a lot, right? Do you really think he has never tried to defeat the Calamity Demon Dragon?” Huang Xiaoyi nodded to Ma Kuangyu, who immediately continued. ”In the past, he couldn’t defeat Long Zhaihuo due to their evenly matched strengths. Therefore, he asked the other ancient beasts for help to create a sealing formation and a suppression formation, and they sealed him in that realm. The evil dragon still lives in that realm to this day, and although his strength has been significantly weakened after being sealed for millions of years, he can still bring a calamity to the Three Mortal Realms.”

Long Fenghan then asked him. ”Then, what is Zhang Fei’s relationship with the Calamity Demon Dragon? Is he planning to do something against that dragon?”

”Zhang Fei intends to absorb Long Zhaihuo’s strength to enhance his.” Ma Kuangyu shocked the three of them. ”As the three of you already know, he is the man in the writings left behind by the ten-tailed fox, and he will become the next ten-tailed fox in the future. However, there are several things that have been bugging our minds ever since we discovered the existence of that evil dragon. The old fox was truly powerful, even stronger than the two dragons, because he was a primordial being born from Yin and Yang. With his immense strength, he should have been able to kill that dragon in the past, but he did nothing.”

Huang Xiaoyi immediately realized something. ”Do you think that the ten-tailed fox deliberately left the Calamity Demon Dragon for him?”

”We thought so.” Ma Kuangyu nodded as he responded. ”Since Long Zhaihuo has been sealed there for millions of years, he has been filled with resentment and hatred, and his aura has become extremely terrifying. Zhang Fei once tried to absorb his hatred, and it was quite useful for him. Actually, it’s fine if he wants to absorb his strength, but he has to do it slowly, especially since he will also absorb his hatred. However, there is something in his body that worries us, and it will turn him into a pure evil being if he absorbs too much of that dragon’s hatred.”

”What kind of thing are you referring to, Senior?” Zhang Chen asked.

Ma Kuangyu released a sigh. ”That thing is a cursed demon heart, and it has replaced his human heart.”

”What?” The three of them screamed in shock. ”Where did Zhang Fei get that heart? Why did he use it? Shouldn’t he be aware that it was dangerous for him? Why was he so reckless?”

”Calm down first.” Ma Kuangyu shook his head at them. ”I don’t know where he got the cursed demon heart, but the heart immediately entered his body as soon as he took it out, and it devoured his human heart before replacing it. In fact, Long Wuzhao killed the previous owner of the cursed demon heart, but someone stole it before he could destroy it, and he himself did not expect that it would fall into Zhang Fei’s hands. We can’t change anything because the heart is already integrated with his body, and removing it will kill him. The heart had begun to influence him and was gradually strengthening, but so far, he has managed to suppress its influence. However, things will take another turn if he loses his humanity, and the heart will take over him, turning him into a pure evil being.”

Zhang Chen wore a gloomy look after Ma Kuangyu said all that, and she was truly worried that Zhang Fei would become a pure evil being. ”Is there anything we can do to prevent that from happening, Senior?”

”No.” Ma Kuangyu replied with a shake of his head. ”No one can help Zhang Fei, and the only one who can help him is himself. As long as he never loses his humanity, then everything will be fine, and the heart will become another strength for him. Perhaps the two women came to meet him not only because of the Calamity Demon Dragon but also because of the heart, especially since Long Wuzhao already knows about it.”

Zhang Chen exhaled softly. ”I don’t want Fei’er to turn into a pure evil being, so I will talk to him about this matter, and I will do everything I can to prevent him from losing his humanity.”

”Haha.” Ma Kuangyu laughed softly. ”Little girl, you are everything to him, and he truly respects you. No one in this universe can replace your position in his heart, so I believe he will listen to you.”

”Yes.” Zhang Chen nodded to him. ”If he won’t listen to me, I’ll beat him up myself.”

”Hahaha.” Zhang Chen’s words made Ma Kuangyu, Luo Fenghan, and Huang Xiaoyi laugh.

Luo Fenghan then posed another question. ”What do you think will happen if Zhang Fei successfully absorbs the Calamity Demon Dragon? Will he become as powerful as the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon Emperor?”

”Isn’t your question ridiculous, Fenghan?” Luo Fenghan furrowed his brows at Ma Kuangyu. ”Zhang Fei is the future heir of the ten-tailed fox, and the old fox is a primordial being with unparalleled strength. Do you think Long Wuzhao will be able to rival him after he becomes a ten-tailed fox and inherits the power of his predecessor?”

Luo Fenghan nodded in agreement. ”If all that is true, Zhang Fei will definitely surpass Long Wuzhao, and he will stand at the peak of the cultivation world as the strongest.”

”You are wrong.” Luo Fenghan, Huang Xiaoyi, and Zhang Chen were confused by that. ”Zhang Fei won’t be able to stand at the top of the cultivation world just by surpassing Long Wuzhao. He must surpass several other people, one of whom is Feng Yao.”

The three of them immediately recalled Zhang Fei’s conversation with the third soul of the ten-tailed fox back at the Star Tower. ”Feng Yao was once a primordial being named Shen Yuanzhi, but that likely isn’t her true identity, and she’s likely an existence above the primordials. Her strength should already surpass the ten-tailed fox, so she’s much stronger than Long Wuzhao.”

”Who are these other people you’re referring to, Kuangyu?” Huang Xiaoyi asked him.

”Only a few people know about them or have seen them, but the Primordial Nihility Beast and the Primordial Genesis Beast still exist in this universe.” Luo Fenghan and Huang Xiaoyi were shocked to hear about the two beasts from Ma Kuangyu, but not Zhang Chen. ”If Feng Yao truly is an existence above the primordial, then their strength should be below hers, but we can’t prove anything. Zhang Fei has repeatedly tried to get information from her, but she has always been mysterious and unwilling to reveal anything.”

”Forget it, we don’t need to think too much about things that are still far in the future and the outcome is unclear.” Huang Xiaoyi then led Zhang Chen to his feet. ”We’ll go check on their wedding preparations.”

”Where’s Zhuang Qihong? Has he returned to his clan?”

Ma Kuangyu nodded to Luo Fengyan. ”Qihong has decided to find the members of my Ma Clan who managed to escape from our domain.”

”I see.” Luo Fenghan nodded in understanding. ”Let’s talk somewhere else, Kuangyu.”

Inside the inn, Tianshi Shengjie stood by the window, her expression quite serious as she looked towards the sect.

”Hey.” Tianshi Shengjie turned to Tian Huangjin directly. ”What exactly do you want to talk to Zhang Fei about? You suddenly came to me and brought me here without explaining anything to me, so it’s time you explained it to me, right?”

”My emperor asked me to see Zhang Fei.” Tian Huangjin was surprised by that. ”Honestly, I myself never thought that he would meet my emperor’s avatar in the Three Mortal Realms, and they talked quite a lot at that time.”

”What does the golden dragon emperor want from Zhang Fei?” Tian Huangjin curiously asked.

”The Calamity Demon Dragon.” Tianshi Shengjie then explained to Tian Huangjin about the relationship between Long Zhaihuo and Long Wuzhao, which shocked her. ”My emperor wanted Zhang Fei to get rid of the evil dragon from the Three Mortal Realms, but he was uncertain about his current strength. He sent me to gauge his current strength, and his progress was quite astonishing, especially since he was able to reach his current level that quickly. I’ll talk to him first, but my emperor may be right about him being able to kill that dragon.”

Tian Huangjin nodded his head slightly. ”Do you believe Zhang Fei will kill that dragon?”

”No.” Tianshi Shengjie let out a soft sigh. ”I’ve observed Zhang Fei for quite some time in the Sky Jade Realm, so I know quite a lot about him, especially his habit of absorbing the cultivation and soul power of other living beings. If my guess is correct, he wouldn’t kill that dragon but absorb it. However, it would bring big trouble if he really did that, especially since he would absorb the dragon’s hatred and grudge.”

”You mean?”

”Zhang Fei will most likely become as evil as that dragon.”

Tian Huangjin raised an eyebrow. ”Is that possible?”

”If nothing changes about Zhang Fei, he might never turn evil.” Tianshi Shengjie paused for a while as she recalled Long Wuzhao’s order. ”According to my emperor, he obtained the Cursed Demon Heart, and it has fused with him now, replacing his human heart. If he absorbs the dragon’s resentment and grudge, he might become as evil as him or even more evil.”

”What will you do if Zhang Fei turns evil? Will the golden dragon emperor kill him?”

Tianshi Shengjie released a heavy sigh as she shook her head. ”Huangjin, you must already know that Zhang Fei is the chosen one to be the peacemaker for this universe, right?”

”Yes.”

”If Zhang Fei dies, peace will never return, and this universe may become even more chaotic in the future.” Tianshi Shengjie turned towards the sect again. ”According to my emperor, there is one item that can reverse his situation, but unfortunately, its location is unknown. He has ordered several beasts to search for it after his avatar met him, but they still haven’t managed to find it.”

”What kind of item does the golden dragon emperor mean?”

”The Supreme Bodhi Heart.” Tian Huangjin wanted to ask about it, but Tianshi Shengjie shook her head at her directly. ”You don’t need to ask anything, especially since I have never heard of it in my entire life. In fact, my emperor has never seen it either, and he heard about the heart from people of the past. According to him, the heart once belonged to a kind-hearted and selfless primordial being, and it is the opposite of the Cursed Demon. If Zhang Fei replaces his heart with it, then we don’t need to worry that he will turn evil one day. Unfortunately, there are no ifs in this life, and we can’t do anything until we find the heart. Therefore, I hope he will never lose his humanity; otherwise, he will turn evil before we succeed in finding the truth about the heart.”

Tian Huangjin nodded in agreement. ”Do you think Zhang Fei can really defeat the Calamity Demon Dragon and absorb it?”

”We’ll know the answer after we speak with him in a month.”

Several hours had passed in the training space, and Zhang Fei lay between his two sisters, who had fallen asleep due to exhaustion after dual cultivating with him for so long.

Meanwhile, Luo Yunxiao was enjoying herself by sucking Zhang Fei’s dick, which was soaked with the sexual fluids of both women. She was eager to dual cultivate with him after watching him do that with Zhang Yue and Zhang Lin, but he asked her to patiently wait for their wedding.

A while later, Zhang Fei released his cum into Luo Yunxiao’s mouth to satisfy her eagerness to swallow his Yang Qi, continuing to do so for a few minutes straight.

Once he finished, Luo Yunxiao released Zhang Fei’s dick from her mouth before wiping his cum that was dripping out of it. She gazed at him flirtatiously while licking his cum off her fingers, making him laugh in amusement. ”Ever since Big Sis Yao gave your Yang Qi to me, I’ve been enjoying it, but the effect is different compared to swallowing it directly.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed at that. ”Naturally, the effect is much stronger once I release my Yang Qi compared to the stock. If you like my Yang Qi so much, you can drink it whenever you want.”

”Hehe.” Luo Yunxiao cleansed her mouth before lying on top of Zhang Fei and giving him a soft kiss. ”I’m impatiently waiting for our wedding day, so I hope time passes more quickly, and we can start cultivating together after we get married.”

Zhang Fei hugged Luo Yunxiao and rubbed her head. ”Be patient, okay? You’ve been waiting for me for hundreds of years, so a month is nothing, and our wedding day will arrive before we know it.”

”Uhm.” Luo Yunxiao nodded in response before getting up and moving to Zhang Lin’s side. ”Fei, go to your other women and help them learn the Nine Heavens Illusory Avatar Technique. Meanwhile, I will learn the technique you gave me before, so my body will be stronger before our wedding.”

”All right, you can learn those techniques, and I will go see them now.”

Luo Yunxiao released a soft sigh once Zhang Fei left, but she was also amused to see him leaving naked. ”What a pervert husband! Sigh! I have to learn body techniques as soon as possible, or I’ll be exhausted on our wedding night.”

After leaving his bedroom, Zhang Fei went straight to Ru Xue’s room, but he found her seriously studying the technique with Wu Lianzhi and Tasha, while Xu Ling’er assisted them in learning it.

Zhang Fei then visited all his women’s rooms, taught them the technique, and asked them to learn it first. His four clones also taught it to their respective partners, but since his third clone was still in the Sovereign Heaven Realm, he went to his two partners and taught them.

Zhang Fei did not return to his bedroom and went to the main garden, where he focused on learning techniques that he had not had the chance to learn before.

[Master, you are too busy with them, and you haven’t opened the three rewards from the tower quest.]

’Open them, Mei.’
