The Sword God of the Universe

Chapter 480: Chapter 480: The Extermination Plan [Four Updates]

Thinking of Mr. Yin whom he had already slain, Jing Yan’s lips also subtly curved upward.

”There was no agreement, but Mr. Yin did mention wanting me to join Dark Night and become one of their assassins. However, I refused,” Jing Yan shook his head as he spoke.

”Then how could he let you go?” Mu Liantian wondered.

”It wasn’t that he let me go, instead I killed him,” Jing Yan chuckled ’hehe.’

Mu Liantian was stunned!

The man in black also froze for a moment!

Jing Yan killed Mr. Yin? Killed the Dark Night Ace?

How could that be?

Mr. Yin was a Daoist Master realm expert, and not just in the early stage, but in the middle stage. Within the entire Lanqu County City area, there weren’t many who could kill Mr. Yin. Especially since Mr. Yin was skilled in speed and concealment as a martial artist, even some Daoist realm martial artists stronger than Mr. Yin might not be able to kill him.

After a moment, Mu Liantian took a deep breath.

Although shocked, he did not think Jing Yan was lying. He knew Jing Yan. Perhaps, Jing Yan had some special means that, with the help of these means, had led Mr. Yin to his death.

”Jing Yan, do you know who hired Mr. Yin?” Huo Chunyang asked with a glint in his eyes, not pursuing further how Jing Yan had killed Mr. Yin.

”The Wen Family!” Jing Yan responded briefly.

Before Mr. Yin made a move against Jing Yan, he had revealed his employer’s identity. The reason for revealing this was because Mr. Yin wanted to recruit Jing Yan, and even if Jing Yan refused to join Dark Night, Mr. Yin was confident he could kill Jing Yan, which was why he told Jing Yan about the employer.

”It’s indeed the Wen Family! That old bastard Wen Lan deserves to die!” Mu Liantian’s face darkened.

At this moment, Jing Yan glanced at the man in black beside him. He had no special impression of this man, but given that he had appeared here at this time, he must also be a close confidant of Mu Liantian.

Seeing Jing Yan’s expression, Mu Liantian knew Jing Yan had something to say, so he waved his hand and said, ”Jing Yan, there are no outsiders here.”

With Mu Liantian’s words, Jing Yan felt relieved and directly said, ”Chief Manager, I want to uproot and annihilate the Wen Family!”

This thought wasn’t spur-of-the-moment because the Wen Family had hired Mr. Yin to assassinate Jing Yan.

Initially, when he learned of his grandfather Jing Tian’s death being connected to the Wen Family, Jing Yan had the idea. At that time, Jing Yan hadn’t thought about completely annihilating the Wen Family; he simply wanted to eliminate those involved. But as things progressed, first the Wen Family sent out a Dao Spirit Realm elder wishing to aid the Zhao Family to exterminate the Jing Family, and then they hired the Dark Night Ace to assassinate him, which made Jing Yan decide to destroy the Wen Family.

Hearing Jing Yan’s words, both Mu Liantian and the man in black tensed up.

This idea voiced by Jing Yan sounded simple, but if it spread out, it would scare people to death!

The Wen Family was one of the four great families of Lanqu County City! Their profound foundation was unimaginable to ordinary people. Yet Jing Yan had just spoken of annihilating the Wen Family.

Even Mu Liantian, who had previously been unaware of Jing Yan’s survival, had wanted the Wen Family to pay a heavy price, but he had never thought of completely destroying the Wen Family.

After a moment, a cold light burst in Mu Liantian’s eyes.

”Jing Yan, let’s see the Prince!” Mu Liantian clearly approved of Jing Yan’s idea.

”Now?” Jing Yan was slightly stunned.

To annihilate the Wen Family, they certainly needed approval from the Prince, naturally needing to see Zhou Shang Yun. However, it was currently the middle of the night!

Although it’s true that for martial artists who had reached a certain realm, day and night made little difference, visiting the Prince at this time really seemed somewhat inconvenient, right?

”Yes, right now!” Mu Liantian nodded firmly, ”There’s no time to delay! While the Wen Family still doesn’t know you are alive, we must first arrange the plan properly. Annihilating the Wen Family isn’t something that can be done easily; it requires meticulous planning!”

Half a cup of tea later!

Jing Yan and Mu Liantian quietly arrived outside the Prince Mansion.

”Let’s take the secret entrance!” Mu Liantian led Jing Yan towards a secluded corner of the Prince Mansion.

Taking the main entrance carried the risk of news leaking. And directly flying over the courtyard walls was also not feasible. The defenses of the Prince Mansion were not something the Manager’s Mansion could compare with; even Mu Liantian thought it unrealistic to quietly fly in. He believed that as soon as they entered the airspace above the Prince Mansion, they would be detected by the powerful individuals inside.

However, the Prince Mansion also had a secret entrance. This entrance was known to few people and all were the Prince’s confidants.

Following Mu Liantian, Jing Yan entered the Prince Mansion through a secret door set up in a certain wall. Soon, someone appeared before the two of them. Seeing that it was Mu Liantian who came from the secret entrance, the person did not ask much and led Mu Liantian and Jing Yan to the residence where the Prince lived.

Zhou Shang Yun, upon seeing Jing Yan, naturally also showed a shocked expression. Even as the Prince, seeing Jing Yan appear before him shook him deeply.

Zhou Shang Yun opened his mouth, his gaze then shifting towards Mu Liantian.

”Prince, Jing Yan is not dead! The Dark Night Ace, Mr. Yin, has already been slain by Jing Yan. The one who hired Mr. Yin is none other than the Wen Family. Heh, this time the Wen Family has miscalculated; they even hired the Dark Night Ace, but it hasn’t fulfilled their aim,” Mu Liantian said, his lips curled in a cold smirk.

Zhou Shang Yun’s eyes narrowed slightly, and he looked back at Jing Yan, his thoughts racing, yet his face had already returned to normal.

”Prince, the Wen Family has targeted me repeatedly, I think it’s time I fought back,” Jing Yan bowed and spoke, ”I request the Prince’s support in annihilating the Wen Family.”

Hearing Jing Yan’s words, a gleam of sharp light burst from Zhou Shang Yun’s eyes.

”Jing Yan, do you understand the strength of the Wen Family?” Zhou Shang Yun paused for a moment, looking at Jing Yan and asked.

”The Daoist realm martial artists of the Wen Family shouldn’t exceed three, right?” Jing Yan thought for a moment and said, not very certain.

Daoist realm martial artists were definitely present in the Wen Family. The Wen Family Patriarch Wen Lan, was a powerful Daoist realm expert. And with the Wen Family standing in Lanqu County City for thousands of years, their deep-rooted foundation was extremely strong. It was conceivable that besides Wen Lan, the patriarch being a Daoist realm expert, there might be other Daoist realm experts.

However, Daoist realm experts were not very numerous throughout the entire Lanqu County City region, so considering the Wen Family, having three Daoist realm experts was probably the limit.

”The Daoist realm martial artists of the Wen Family indeed do not exceed three. However, Daoist realm martial artists are not the biggest obstacle. A family like the Wen Family has a powerful formation protecting it. If you want to annihilate the Wen Family, you will certainly need to break the power of the guardian formation. This guardian formation, perhaps even three to five Daoist realm martial artists combined, could not break through!” Zhou Shang Yun narrowed his eyes and spoke slowly.

To annihilate a family like the Wen Family, you must be fully prepared!
