Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 386: Chapter 386 Full of Enthusiasm

Hearing that he would be going on a business trip to Beijing with Ning Ge, Wang Gang was very excited. Beijing, ah, that was a place of dreams, as distant as the sky itself. Now that he was going there on business, he would be able to witness the luxury of the big city.

The other salespeople were envious upon hearing the news. After all, it was Beijing—how desirable it was!

However, what surprised them was Zhao Da was also going? How could this be? They had arrived at the company earlier than Zhao Da and had better sales performance. In terms of seniority and other aspects, they were all better than him, yet they didn’t have this opportunity. Why?

Seeing their somewhat resentful expressions, Cheng Su said, ”This business trip is an opportunity for everyone. As long as our Joy Soon Loy jams are sold throughout the entire Huaxia, there will be plenty of opportunities for business trips in the future. The question is whether you are willing or not. A business trip is no easy task, so you, as the first batch of salespeople in our company, must perform well. Perhaps in the future, you might be the head of the sales department, a team leader, or a group leader leading even more staff. I hope everyone continues to work hard.”

The crowd naturally expressed their earnest intentions.

Only Zhao Da, in a foggy haze, still couldn’t believe it, as if a huge nugget of gold had struck him, rendering him unable to distinguish reality.

Based on seniority and performance, all the older brothers and sisters in the sales department were better than him. Why would President Cheng let him go on a business trip to Beijing?

Beijing, ah!

He heard that the place was full of tall buildings, cars with four wheels everywhere, and the people were very noble, utterly different from the people from their rural countryside.

And he was just sixteen years old. He had never left Qing City in his life, but now, he was really going to Beijing?

Zhao Da couldn’t believe it; he practically floated as he walked, fearing that he had heard wrong, and quickly went to find Cheng Su.

However, what had President Cheng told him? To observe more, learn more, think more, and not to lose the drive in him. The drive?

Zhao Da immediately replied earnestly, ”I will definitely not let down your support and expectations.”

After leaving the office, still in shock and joy, Zhao Da saw his senior colleagues talking in the distance. Just as he thought of approaching them, they immediately turned their faces away.

Zhao Da pressed his lips together, stopped in his tracks, and clenched his hands into fists. He was determined to show everyone that President Cheng’s choice was not wrong and that he would do well.

Having dealt with the Jam Company’s affairs, Cheng Su went to manage the restaurant’s accounts.

Since the opening of the restaurant, almost half a year had passed. From the beginning, there were only two or three employees including her, but now, the restaurant had more than a dozen staff members, and the business was thriving, doing better every month.

Cheng Su did a rough calculation, and the pure profit earned by the restaurant since its opening was nearly ten thousand yuan. Especially after the restaurant added evening service and expanded its operation, business had shot up dramatically.

Of course, this was also thanks to the efforts of County Chief Ying and others. Since the restaurant expanded its business, the clients at the Joy Soon Loy Restaurant had gradually become more prestigious, generous in spending, willing to order dishes, which naturally improved the income.

Cheng Su was pleased and distributed the wages, and on top of that, gave bonuses ranging from a few to ten yuan according to the staff’s positions, which greatly motivated them.

As the funds became more substantial, Cheng Su wanted to continue expanding and opening branches, but connecting the shops around the restaurant to form a block was still challenging, so it was just a matter of waiting for an opportunity.

On the other hand, Cheng Su was keen on finding a spot for a fast food outlet near the train station. She would need to do some reconnaissance first.
