Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 213: Chapter 213 Cooperation in Business

After lunch service ended, Cheng Su introduced Old Song and the others to Ning Ge, and then she took him home because the boy said he preferred to stay with familiar people, and at most he would pay Cheng Su for his food and accommodation.

Cheng Su wasn’t actually planning to take his money, it was just something she complained about, and after returning home, she still made the bed and cleaned up for him. Ning Ge saw it all, and his eyes were filled with joyful laughter.

In the evening, Qi Taiguo came back and was surprised to see Ning Ge. He frowned immediately, feeling an ominous premonition.

As expected, when Ning Ge mentioned he was going to stay with them for a few more days, Qi Taiguo’s face grew long with 120,000 points of annoyance and depression, scaring Ning Ge from speaking to him. Ning Ge turned to Cheng Su instead and said, ”I haven’t seen Big Brother Qi in a while, and the way he looks at me seems very unkind. Could it be that I’ve offended him somewhere?”

Cheng Su chuckled inwardly, looking at Qi Taiguo who had a pitiful expression, and couldn’t help laughing even more.

”You have indeed offended him!”

Ning Ge’s arrival meant the disruption of their private world, which was right in the thick of their most affectionate phase. Having tasted the joys, Qi Taiguo was hooked and didn’t want to stop. But with this kid now here, their intimate moments were restricted, they couldn’t be as loud, and had to be cautious. How could this be pleasant?

What made it worse was that Old Qi was a man with a vigorous energy!

Cheng Su stifled her laughter when she saw Qi Taiguo glaring at her, so she quickly composed herself and pretended to be serious, much to Qi Taiguo’s annoyance.

While Ning Ge was in the bathroom, Qi Taiguo leaned over and asked, ”What’s he doing back here? Are we that close with him?”

”Are we that close? If you hadn’t been so kind before, we wouldn’t be close now, right?” Cheng Su said with a raised eyebrow and a laugh.

Qi Taiguo pouted and said, ”There are so many empty rooms now, I’ll talk to Regimental Commander Mai tomorrow and have him arrange one for him to stay in temporarily.”

It’s so maddening; disrupting a couple’s intimacy brings bad luck!

”What are you two whispering about? You’re not plotting to kick me out, are you?”

While they were talking quietly, Ning Ge’s voice suddenly sounded from behind, startling both of them.

This kid is way too perceptive!

Qi Taiguo coughed and asked, ”What are you doing in Qing City this time?”

”Oh, I’m here on business. I want to go into partnership with sister-in-law and do business,” Ning Ge replied with a shrug of his shoulders.

Cheng Su and Qi Taiguo exchanged glances, both somewhat surprised. Go into partnership for business?

”Let’s sit down and talk about it!” Ning Ge pointed at the sofa and sat down with casual authority, making Qi Taiguo’s face darken. This is his home; how could this kid make it seem like he was the guest?

”Do business? What do you mean by that?” Cheng Su, who was always interested in making money, asked eagerly.

”Sister-in-law, that jam of yours, I’ll invest in it. Let’s partner up and register a food company to produce it!” Ning Ge looked at Cheng Su as he spoke.

Start a jam business?

Cheng Su was taken aback for a moment. Over the past month, she had made jam two or three times, but as more and more jams appeared on the market, competition intensified. Without a proper food company or salespeople to market her product, there was no chance of expanding. Plus, she was focused on running Joy Soon Loy Restaurant, so she only made jam when the Huaiji Supply and Marketing Cooperative placed an order.

Being busy with Joy Soon Loy, she had set aside her earlier plans to make strawberry jam. And now, Ning Ge was proposing to partner with her in the jam business?
