Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

Theseus waited for Shen Fei to finish listening, then respectfully said, ”Priest, the places in Ephesus that can gather have already spread the divine revelation.”

As he spoke, Theseus looked at Shen Fei with eyes full of reverence. He hadn’t expected that the Priest would come up with such a cohesive connection.

It turns out that our god is actually the Moon God.

Because from the magic perspective, the skills granted by the god are mostly related to [Hunting], [Fertility], and even [Forests].

Moreover, there have long been divine oracles in the temple regarding what symbolizes the temple, which also corresponds to Divine Authority.

The connection between our god and the moon isn’t obvious at all.

However, the classic scriptures written by the Priest are well-reasoned, and before dissemination, we priests of the temple had already read them thoroughly.

”Hmm, spreading the glory of our god is our unshirkable duty. Pay the minstrels to continue singing the glory of our god.”

Shen Fei nodded.

Theseus couldn’t help but say, ”Priest, is it true that a firstborn will soon be born in the Macedonian Kingdom and will receive the divine spirit’s blessing?”

Even though Theseus is a priest, and even if there is a war, as long as he stays in the temple, no one dares to violate it.

But Theseus is from Macedonia; it is his faith in the divine spirit that brought him to Ephesus, the largest temple, to serve as a priest.

Naturally, he is extremely concerned about the events about to unfold in Macedonia.

”The divine has long been paying attention to this matter.”

Shen Fei said indifferently, in these past two months, he had not only been writing scriptures but also collecting various pieces of information, besides the matters of the Greek city-states.

Also the affairs outside Greece, in Persia and Macedonia.

As for the means of understanding, it is naturally the council and nobles of Ephesus.

Since the rise of the Macedonian Kingdom.

Many Greek city-states have been significantly affected.

Some joined Macedonia, like Athens, Sparta, while others joined the Corinthian league.

And like Ephesus, which still seems to be under Persian rule.

But Persia has long been unable to effectively control Ephesus; instead, the words of the Artemis Temple, which symbolizes Divine Authority, carry more weight.

And now, Ephesus can even be said to be the mortal realm governed by Artemis, while previously, the priests didn’t care about the affairs of Ephesus at all.

But now Shen Fei plans to use the local forces to expand the divine powers of Artemis, naturally borrowing the strength of Ephesus.

Many priests actually didn’t value the power of the mortal realm at all before; in their eyes, the so-called city-state rule was merely a plaything of the divine spirits.

But Shen Fei is different, the divine spirit sits high above, and if there is an oracle, even many councils and nobles have to obey.

Even the king, when facing Zeus, who cuckolded his wife, didn’t he still have to say ’Well done,’ and then say, ’Your son is my son.’?

The problem is, without an oracle, these secular forces can accomplish many things.

Let alone the spreading of faith in these matters.

If there are no miracles, oral transmission is certainly more advantageous.

This Ephesian tavern is just one of Shen Fei’s arrangements; other places also have temple priests and minstrels spreading in Ephesus and even other city-states.

As for the prophecy of Philip II’s firstborn, it was already known among many nobles, and the person prophesizing wasn’t simple, it was a priest of Apollo.

It only didn’t specify which god would protect it, but combined with what Shen Fei knows, it must be Artemis behind the blessing.

’Next, it depends on Artemis’ reaction.’

Sitting on a chair, counting his thoughts, this enhancement of divine authority is actually his test of Artemis, like the changing relationships between divine spirits affecting relationships in the mortal realm.

And the changes in faith among the mortals will certainly prompt changes in their divine spirits.

To fundamentally solve this problem requires at least Artemis to know this situation is happening.

If she knew in advance that the temple will soon be burned, could it be changed?

At the very least, find out why Ares and Hephaestus are targeting Artemis.

Initially, Ares was on Artemis’ side, but why after the war ended, did ’Hunting Festival’ replace ’Human Sacrifice’?

Artemis should have been on the losing side.

’There must have been an intervention from Athena...’ Shen Fei could only think of this possibility, otherwise, it’s hard to understand why Ares would act against Artemis.

...

Mount Olympus.

Where the Artemis Divine Domain resides.

A vast and boundless forest, where there are golden-horned deer leaping delightfully, and in the center of the forest, a wide pool with a fountain emanating a faint silver glow.

Artemis sat in the Golden Horned Deer Vehicle, swinging her white legs, barefoot.

The ten toes on her soles swung like white pearls wavering in the sky, making one’s mouth water.

Her long white legs were completely exposed, extending upwards, but instead of the luxurious robes many goddesses often wear, she donned a wild animal skin skirt.

This symbolizes her [Hunting].

Smooth abdomen, with the fullness covered by animal skin above, heavily representing the [Fertility] divine authority.

She naturally couldn’t be the ’Peace Goddess,’ but rather bears the dignity and authority of the Fertility Goddess, more compelling than even the Goddess of Beauty, Aphrodite.

Her face contained a blend of wildness and purity, with a unique contrast.

Impressive figure, pure face, all unmistakably showcasing the beauty of Artemis.

But Artemis looked troubled.

Suddenly a silver bow appeared in her hand, and with a sudden draw, an arrow shot out, landing on a golden-horned deer in the forest, its neck erupting in blood.

Fell to the ground convulsing endlessly.

Artemis snapped back, saw the fallen golden-horned deer, waved her hand, and the previously fallen deer stood back up, slightly irritably exhaled, ”Who is it exactly...”

Laxsis told her.

Her faith in Greece would face a severe blow, and only the soon-to-be-born ’King of Twin Pupils,’ the firstborn of the Macedonian Kingdom’s current king, Philip, could restore her faith.

So she has been watching Macedonia, only to discover traces of divine power on the queen for a very long time.

But she found it difficult to detect who left this divine power.

Whether it’s ’Divine Authority’ or ’Rank’ it is not weaker than her.

She doesn’t possess the [Prophecy] divine authority, making it difficult to discern who plans to strike her.

While her thoughts shifted, she touched the faint mark of a crescent moon on her forehead.

’If only I had the [Moon] divine authority, I could know exactly who is plotting against me.’
