Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 882: Coaxing Liu Ruyan And Secret Schemes

The heavy stone door slid shut with a soft, definitive thud, sealing them inside Wang Jian’s secret cave dwelling. The world outside, with its bustling festival and the watchful eyes of the Mystic Peak Sect, vanished completely.

They were alone.

The air inside was cool and clean, carrying the faint, sterile scent of stone and the subtle, lingering aroma of powerful spiritual herbs. A single, ever-bright spirit lamp cast a soft, unwavering glow over the simple chamber, illuminating a small alchemy bench, a plush meditation mat woven from beast furs, and a low table with two cushions.

Liu Ruyan stood hesitantly just inside the entrance, her veiled form a study in quiet apprehension. Her heart hammered against her ribs, a frantic rhythm that seemed far too loud in the profound silence of the cave. She knew she had crossed a threshold, not just a physical one, but a moral one.

”It is... very private, Senior Brother Wang,” she murmured, her melodious voice barely a whisper. She kept her gaze focused on the alchemy bench, anywhere but on him.

Wang Jian’s chuckle was a low, warm sound that seemed to wrap around her, easing some of her tension. ”Privacy is a cultivator’s greatest luxury, Fairy Liu. Especially for... dedicated scholars of our art.”

He moved past her, his presence a wave of warmth and quiet power. ”Please, make yourself comfortable.” He gestured towards the cushions at the low table.

She obeyed, moving with a graceful, if slightly stiff, motion. She sat down, carefully arranging her medicinal green robes around her.

Wang Jian produced a small, elegant tea set from his storage pouch, along with a canister of rare, fragrant spirit tea. His movements were unhurried, deliberate, as he began the simple ritual of brewing.

”This is a Moonpetal Dew tea,” he said, his voice calm and conversational. ”It is said to soothe the mind and clarify spiritual sense. Perfect for a discussion between alchemists.”

He was putting her at ease, masterfully dismantling her nervousness with mundane, comforting actions. Liu Ruyan watched him, the graceful movements of his hands, the focused calm in his eyes, and felt some of her apprehension begin to melt away.

”You are very skilled, Senior Brother,” she commented softly. ”Even in the simple art of tea.”

He smiled, pouring the steaming, fragrant liquid into two delicate porcelain cups. ”The principles are the same as in alchemy, are they not? Heat control, timing, the harmony of ingredients.”

He passed a cup to her. Their fingers brushed for a fleeting second, and a jolt of electricity, subtle but undeniable, shot up her arm. She quickly drew her hand back, her heart skipping a beat.

Wang Jian pretended not to notice, taking a slow sip of his own tea. ”Speaking of alchemy,” he began, his tone shifting to one of scholarly interest, ”the sect recipes you shared with me are truly profound. The Inferno Heart Pill, in particular. Its method of forcefully fusing the volatile energies of Crimson Sun Grass is... audacious.”

This was her domain. Liu Ruyan’s confidence returned slightly as the conversation turned to her expertise. ”It is one of our sect’s more aggressive formulas,” she agreed. ”The success rate is low, even for experienced alchemists, but the resulting pill’s potency is undeniable.”

”Indeed,” Wang Jian nodded. ”But I was contemplating its structure. I believe I have identified a minor... inefficiency.”

Liu Ruyan’s veiled face tilted, her interest piqued. ”An inefficiency? Senior Brother, that formula was perfected by a Core Formation Elder of my sect centuries ago.”

”Perfection is a relative term,” he replied smoothly. He leaned forward, taking a stick of charcoal from the alchemy bench and beginning to sketch a complex diagram of meridional flows and energy symbols on the smooth stone floor. ”The formula forces the fusion, yes. But it creates significant spiritual turbulence, wasting nearly thirty percent of the herb’s core essence in the process. Look here...”

He pointed with the charcoal stick. ”If, instead of introducing the powdered beast core as a catalyst at this stage, you were to first introduce a stabilizing agent, say, a single drop of refined Jade Dew, and alter the Qi infusion pathway to a gentler, spiraling motion like this...” His diagram became a swirl of impossibly complex, yet logical, patterns. ”...you could harmonize the energies before the final fusion. The process would be longer, more demanding of spiritual control, but the essence waste would be reduced to less than five percent. The resulting pills would not just be top-grade; their purity would be almost divine.”

Liu Ruyan stared at the diagram, her mind reeling. It was brilliant. Audaciously, impossibly brilliant. The concept was so simple in its elegance, yet so profound in its application. It was a solution that had eluded her sect’s master alchemists for generations. And this man... this Foundation Establishment cultivator she had known for only a few months, had deduced it after a mere glance at the formula.

”That’s...” she breathed, her voice filled with awe. ”That’s revolutionary.”

”A simple observation,” Wang Jian said with a dismissive shrug, though a glint of satisfaction shone in his eyes. He then met her gaze, his expression turning more intimate. ”True mastery of alchemy, Fairy Liu, is not about following recipes. It is about feeling the energies. Understanding their resonance. Their harmony.”

He reached out, his hand covering hers where it rested on the table. ”Just as there is a harmony between herbs... there is a harmony between people.”

Liu Ruyan froze, her breath catching in her throat. His hand was warm, his touch firm. This was no longer about alchemy.

”Senior Brother Wang...” she whispered, trying to pull her hand away, but his grip was gentle yet unyielding. ”This is... inappropriate.”

”Is it?” he murmured, his thumb beginning to trace slow, deliberate circles on the back of her hand. ”Or is it simply... an exploration? A deeper form of understanding?”

”Sister Yue... she is my friend,” Liu Ruyan protested weakly, her voice trembling. ”She trusts me. I cannot...”

”Sister Yue is in her own dwelling, diligently studying the array manuals I gifted her,” Wang Jian said, his voice a low, seductive whisper. ”She is a wonderful woman. And I quite like her passion. However, our passion, Fairy Liu... ours lies in the fire. In the heat of creation. In the blending of potent essences.”

He leaned closer, his other hand coming up to gently, almost reverently, touch the side of her veiled face. ”This is our secret, Liu Ruyan. A scholarly pursuit that only we can truly understand. An exchange of the deepest alchemical knowledge. An exploration of... resonance.”

The world seemed to shrink, to narrow down to the space between them, the intensity in his eyes, the hypnotic cadence of his voice, the shocking, thrilling warmth of his hand on her skin. Her mind, her rational, disciplined alchemist’s mind, was screaming warnings. This was a betrayal. This was reckless.

But her body... her body was singing a different tune. A traitorous, beautiful melody of pure, undeniable desire.

She didn’t pull away.

Seeing her surrender in the slight parting of her lips, in the way her body leaned almost imperceptibly towards his, Wang Jian moved.

He stood, pulling her gently to her feet. He didn’t kiss her yet. Instead, his hands went to the intricate pin that held her veil in place. Slowly, reverently, he removed it. The fine silk fluttered to the floor.

Her face, unveiled, was a masterpiece. Even more ethereal, more breathtakingly beautiful up close. Her skin was like moonlit porcelain, her lips a perfect, soft rosebud, her eyes a deep, shimmering green that held a universe of shy, curious emotion.

”Beautiful,” he breathed, the word a simple statement of fact.

He then reached for the sash of her medicinal green robe. Her breath hitched, but she stood perfectly still, a willing statue, as he untied it. The robe parted, sliding from her shoulders, pooling at her feet in a soft whisper of fabric.

She stood before him in her thin, silken undergarments. They did little to conceal the perfection of her form. Her breasts were not as impossibly large as Chen Ying’s or Yue Lingshan’s, but they were perfectly shaped, high and full, their rosy peaks already taut with arousal. Her waist was slender, her hips a gentle, alluring curve leading down to long, graceful legs. She was a vision of delicate, willowy beauty.

His hands came to rest on her waist, his thumbs stroking her soft skin. ”You are a work of art, Liu Ruyan,” he murmured, his gaze a devouring fire.

He leaned in, his lips finally claiming hers. The kiss was not the brutal conquest he had inflicted upon Chen Ying, nor the loving possession he shared with Yue Lingshan. It was something else entirely – a slow, masterful seduction, a dance of teasing advance and thrilling retreat. His tongue traced her lips, coaxed them open, then delved within to taste her sweetness with an expert’s touch that made her mind go blank with pleasure.

A soft, helpless moan escaped her throat. This was wrong. So wonderfully, terribly wrong.

He lifted her then, as if she weighed nothing, and carried her towards the alchemy bench. He cleared a space with a sweep of his arm, sending scrolls and charcoal sticks clattering to the floor. He laid her down upon the cold, hard stone of the bench.

”Senior Brother...” she whimpered, the coldness of the stone a shocking contrast to the heat of her own skin, the posture undeniably humiliating, yet thrillingly so.

”Shh,” he whispered, his hands already working to remove her remaining undergarments. ”Tonight, Fairy Liu... you are not an alchemist. You are my most precious ingredient. And I intend to refine you... to perfection.”

He positioned himself between her parted legs, his massive, erect cock a stark, brutal promise against the softness of her inner thigh. She gasped, her eyes wide with a mixture of fear and awe.

He didn’t enter her immediately. He tormented her, his mouth returning to her breasts, suckling, teasing, while his hand explored the wet, hot core of her, his fingers dancing, stroking, bringing her to the very brink of a climax she had never known.

”Please...” she begged, her body writhing on the stone bench. ”Jian... please...”

He finally granted her wish, thrusting into her with a single, deep, powerful stroke that drew a sharp, ecstatic cry from her lips. He filled her completely, their bodies joining with a wet, definitive smack that echoed in the silent cave.

He began to move, his rhythm a masterful cadence of slow, deep stretches and fast, shallow thrusts, his hips a relentless engine of pleasure. Liu Ruyan was lost, a ship tossed in a storm of pure sensation. She screamed his name, she moaned, she begged, her usual serene composure shattered into a million pieces of wanton pleasure. He took her on the bench, then on the furs, then against the cold stone wall of the cave, his stamina seemingly endless, his desire a raging inferno that consumed them both.

And as she reached her peak for the third time, her body convulsing wildly around him, a single, lucid thought pierced through the haze of her ecstasy.

’Yue Lingshan... was right. He is... so much better.’

Far away, in a different, rougher part of the continent, the seeds of vengeance were taking root in the bitter soil of loss.

The Blackwind Market. Its central tavern, ’The Gnarled Root’, was a den of shadows and spilled spirits, a place where desperate cultivators came to drown their sorrows or hatch dark plots.

At a table in the darkest corner, three figures sat in a tense, grim silence.

Li Wei, his face a cold, handsome mask of controlled fury, stared into his cup of wine. His Foundation Establishment aura was like a sheath of ice around him. His younger brother, Li Jianchen, the pride of their clan, the shining star of the Azure Sword Clan’s inner sect, was dead. Murdered in the Blood Forbidden Ground. And the whispers all pointed to a single name: Wang Jian of the Mystic Peak Sect.

Beside him, Elder Guan of the Hundred Beast Manor, his grizzled face a roadmap of grief and rage, slammed his fist on the table, making the cups jump. His Foundation Establishment power, wild and untamed, flared for a moment. His secret son, his most promising disciple, had also fallen. The survivors of his sect’s expedition spoke of a brutally efficient Mystic Peak disciple and his two beautiful female companions. The description matched.

The third man, ”Shadow Blade” Hou, a rogue cultivator whose Thirteenth Stage Qi Condensation aura was thick with the scent of blood and violence, leaned back, a cruel smirk on his face. ”So, our targets are the same,” he rasped, his voice like grinding stones. ”The Mystic Peak pretty boy, his princess, and the Crimson Pill fairy. They took my sworn brother, Ma Zhaolong. A debt must be paid in blood.”

”They are stronger than we anticipated,” Li Wei said, his voice a low, dangerous whisper. ”My sources within Mystic Peak have confirmed it. Wang Jian and the princess, Yue Lingshan, have both broken through to the Foundation Establishment Realm. They did so with unnatural speed.”

Elder Guan grunted. ”They must have acquired a great fortune in the Forbidden Ground. The beast cores, the herbs... they used them to advance.”

”And the women...” Shadow Blade Hou licked his lips, his eyes gleaming with a lecherous light. ”The descriptions I’ve heard... celestial beauties. A royal princess and an alchemist fairy. After we kill the boy... the two of them will make a fine reward for our troubles. We can... enjoy them together before we sell them to the demonic sects. They pay well for such high-quality goods.”

Li Wei’s lip curled in disgust at the rogue’s crude words, but he didn’t object. Alliances of convenience required one to overlook such... unpleasantries. ”We cannot act rashly. They are Foundation Establishment now. A direct assault on the Mystic Peak Sect is suicide.”

”Then we wait,” Elder Guan growled. ”We watch. We gather our own strength. I will enter seclusion, break through to the next stage of Foundation Establishment. We must be stronger than them when we make our move.”

”And we lay a trap,” Shadow Blade Hou added, his smirk widening. ”A trap they cannot escape. We find their weakness, their routine. We lure them out from the safety of their sect. And then... we will have our revenge. And our... rewards.”

The three men raised their cups, the crude spirit wine sealing their bitter, bloodthirsty oath. They were patient hunters. They would wait. They would grow stronger. And when the time was right, they would unleash their collective fury upon Wang Jian and the beautiful women who walked beside him.
