Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 881: Meeting Liu Ruyan On Full Moon Festival

The next few weeks within the secluded cave dwellings of the Mystic Peak Sect passed in a rhythm of intense, focused ambition. The world outside, with its sect politics and simmering rivalries, seemed a distant, muffled echo. Here, in the quiet solitude of the mountain, there was only cultivation, alchemy, and the tangled, secret intimacies that bound Wang Jian to his women.

His days were a study in duality.

By morning and afternoon, Wang Jian was the diligent lover and mentor to Princess Yue Lingshan. He would visit her spacious cave dwelling, its interior now softened by elegant silks and the faint, fragrant aroma of the array-crafting inks she constantly worked with.

”Jian,” she would greet him, her face beaming with the pure, unadulterated joy of a woman in love. Her progress in the Foundation Establishment realm was steady, her aura growing more profound each day.

”Show me,” he would say, his voice a warm, encouraging rumble.

With a mixture of pride and concentration, she would demonstrate her latest achievements. The ’Thousand Illusions Pagoda Array’, a manual he had purchased for her, was a complex Core Formation level art, yet she was already grasping its foundational principles. She would weave her Wood and Water Qi together, her delicate fingers dancing in the air as she inscribed shimmering runes, creating a small, intricate illusion of a blooming spirit-lotus that seemed almost real.

”Impressive, Lingshan,” Wang Jian would praise, his hand coming to rest on the small of her back. ”Your control is becoming more refined. The fusion of Wood and Water Qi is almost seamless.”

His praise was a potent elixir for her, more intoxicating than any wine. She would lean into his touch, her magnificent body pressing against his. ”It is only because of your guidance, Jian. The insights you share... they make the most complex theories seem so simple.”

”You have the talent, my love,” he’d murmur, his lips finding her neck. ”I am merely helping you polish the jade.”

Their scholarly discussions would inevitably, seamlessly, transition into passionate lovemaking. He adored her body, the magnificent curves of her large breasts and plump, curvy buttocks, but his lovemaking with her was always an act of worship. It was tender yet possessive, a dance of passion that left her feeling cherished, adored, and utterly his. He would take her on the very furs where she studied her array diagrams, their moans muffled by the Soundproof Array she had now perfected, their bodies a beautiful, loving tangle.

But when night fell, a different Wang Jian would emerge.

He would return to his own cave dwelling, and there, in the cold, flickering light of spirit lamps, he would wait.

Chen Ying would arrive like a shadow, her movements furtive, her beautiful face a mask of cold resentment and a dark, unwilling anticipation. She always obeyed his summons.

”Master,” she would greet, her voice a low, formal whisper, though her eyes held a defiant spark that he found endlessly amusing.

”You’re late,” he might say, his tone flat, even if she was perfectly on time. He enjoyed keeping her on edge.

”The inner sect patrols were more active tonight,” she would reply, her excuse clipped, her gaze refusing to meet his.

”Excuses,” he would scoff, rising from his meditation mat. ”Undress.”

She hated him. He could feel it radiating from her, a palpable wave of loathing. But she would obey. Her hands, trembling with a mixture of rage and a shame she could no longer deny, would move to the sash of her elegant inner sect robe. She would disrobe slowly, revealing the breathtaking, voluptuous form that he now owned. Her large, magnificent breasts, heavier and fuller than any of his other women, would be bared to his gaze, the rosy nipples hardening instantly in the cool air, a testament to her body’s traitorous response.

”You look... displeased, Chen Ying,” he would taunt, walking a slow circle around her, his eyes devouring every inch of her perfect, pale skin. ”And yet, your body seems quite... eager to welcome me.”

”You are a demon,” she would hiss, her fists clenched at her sides.

”Perhaps,” he’d agree with a cruel smile. ”But I am a demon who has made you stronger.”

And that was the undeniable, agonizing truth that tormented her. In the weeks since their return, under his brutal tutelage and fueled by pellets of a quality her grandfather could only dream of, her cultivation had not just recovered; it had exploded. The ’Seven Absolutes Sword Art’ she’d acquired from the legacy dwelling was a profound, Nascent Soul level technique. On her own, it would have taken her years, perhaps decades, to even begin to comprehend its depths.

But Wang Jian... he would spar with her. Their training sessions were as brutal as their sexual encounters. He would force her to fight him, his Glacial Bite a blur of icy steel, his combat instincts terrifyingly sharp. He would push her, corner her, disarm her, and humiliate her with his superior skill.

And then, he would explain.

”Your stance is weak there,” he’d say, after effortlessly sweeping her legs out from under her. ”You rely too much on the raw power of the technique, but you neglect the foundation. A true sword master is one with their blade, their Qi, and their intent.”

He would then demonstrate, his movements a symphony of deadly grace, explaining the core principles of sword intent, of Qi flow, of exploiting an opponent’s every weakness, with a depth of understanding that left her speechless. He took the profound ’Seven Absolutes Sword Art’ and broke it down for her, revealing subtleties and applications she would never have discovered on her own.

He wasn’t just teaching her a technique; he was teaching her the very soul of combat. And he, a mere Foundation Establishment cultivator, was displaying an insight into the Dao of the Sword that felt deeper than that of her Core Formation grandfather. It was impossible, terrifying, and utterly undeniable.

”How... how do you know these things?” she had asked once, her voice a mix of awe and suspicion after he’d shown her a flaw in a technique that had been a sect secret for generations.

He had simply smiled. ”I have... a knack for understanding how things work.”

Fuelled by his guidance and the endless supply of top-grade pellets he provided – pellets he concocted with an ease that defied all logic, using the life force of the Verdant Eternal Spring Essence within him to accelerate the growth of the necessary herbs in a hidden corner of his cave – Chen Ying’s power had soared.

She had broken through the final bottleneck of Qi Condensation, reaching the Thirteenth Stage, her foundation now as solid as a mountain. She knew, with absolute certainty, that she was now the strongest Qi Condensation disciple in the entire Mystic Peak Sect, stronger even than she had been before her encounter with Lan Fengzi.

And it was all thanks to the man she loathed, the man who used her body as his personal plaything every night.

Their nights were a brutal continuation of her taming. He would fuck her with a savage, punishing intensity, his every thrust a reminder of his ownership. But now, woven into the humiliation was a dark, addictive thread of power. He would make her cultivate while he took her, forcing her to circulate her Qi according to the principles of her new sword art, a cruel and twisted form of dual cultivation that left her exhausted but also, terrifyingly, stronger.

”You see, Chen Ying?” he’d growl in her ear, his hips pounding into her from behind. ”Even your pleasure serves my purpose. It makes you stronger. And a stronger slave is a more useful slave.”

She hated him for it. She hated herself for the way her body responded, for the way her cultivation actually advanced amidst the throes of their debauchery. She was trapped in a gilded cage of power and shame, and Wang Jian held the only key.

Now, as the Full Moon Festival approached, Wang Jian knew it was time to add another piece to his collection.

The Willow Creek Teahouse in Jade Dew Market was a quaint, two-story establishment, its wooden beams adorned with hanging paper lanterns that cast a soft, warm glow. It was the night of the Full Moon Festival, and the market was alive with a gentle, festive energy. Cultivators and well-to-do mortals mingled, enjoying the sweet rice cakes and fragrant osmanthus wine that were traditional for the occasion.

Wang Jian sat at a secluded table on the second-floor balcony, overlooking the bustling street below. He had arrived early, choosing a spot that offered both privacy and a clear view of the entrance. He sipped his tea calmly, his presence unassuming, yet his senses were alert, waiting.

A short while later, a figure in a simple, yet elegant, medicinal green robe, her face and form concealed by a thick, obscuring veil and a loose-fitting cloak, entered the teahouse. She paused at the entrance, her head scanning the room, a subtle nervousness in her posture.

Wang Jian raised his hand slightly. The figure saw him and, after a moment’s hesitation, made her way up the wooden stairs to his balcony table.

It was Liu Ruyan.

”Senior Brother Wang,” she greeted, her melodious voice a soft murmur, barely audible above the festive chatter. She bowed gracefully, though her movements were a little stiff.

”Fairy Liu,” Wang Jian replied, a warm, welcoming smile on his face as he gestured to the seat opposite him. ”Thank you for coming. I was beginning to think the splendors of the Crimson Pill Sect had made you forget our little appointment.”

Liu Ruyan sat down, her hands fidgeting slightly in her lap. ”Of course not, Senior Brother Wang. An agreement between alchemists is a sacred thing.” She was clearly trying to maintain a professional demeanor, but her shy, darting glances revealed her true state of mind. She knew, and he knew she knew, that this meeting was far from professional. The secrecy, the location, the very fact that Yue Lingshan was unaware of it... it all pointed to something more.

”You have...to have advanced,” she said, her voice filled with unconcealed astonishment as she finally dared to look at him directly. Even without a spiritual sense scan, the change in his aura was palpable.

The last time she saw him, he was a Twelfth Stage Qi Condensation disciple. Now, the quiet, profound pressure of a Foundation Establishment expert emanated from him. ”You’ve broken through to the Foundation Establishment Realm. Already. That is... truly incredible.”

Wang Jian chuckled, a low, modest sound. ”I was fortunate. The spoils from the Forbidden Ground, particularly the Spirit Cleansing Pool, were a great help in solidifying my foundation.” He didn’t mention his self-created scripture or his endless supply of pellets.

”Still,” she insisted, her eyes wide with admiration, ”to do so in just a few short months... your talent is truly monstrous, Senior Brother. I, myself, am still at the peak Thirteenth Stage of Qi Condensation, struggling to purify my Qi for the breakthrough.”

”Patience, Fairy Liu,” he said gently. ”Your path is one of precision. It cannot be rushed.” He poured her a cup of fragrant, steaming tea. ”Let us not speak of cultivation tonight. It is a festival, after all. A time for relaxation. Tell me, how have you been since our return?”

His disarming charm worked its magic. Liu Ruyan slowly relaxed, her initial nervousness giving way to a more comfortable rapport. She spoke of her sect, the challenges of fully integrating the Blood Spirit Flame into her alchemical arts, the praise she had received from her Master for the ancient herb samples and recipes she had brought back – recipes she carefully omitted mentioning she had already shared with him.

Wang Jian listened intently, asking insightful questions, offering subtle encouragement. He made her feel heard, understood, admired. He was the perfect gentleman, the ideal scholarly companion.

As they talked and drank tea, the moon rose high in the sky, a perfect, luminous pearl.

”The moon is beautiful tonight,” Yue Lingshan murmured, her gaze turning towards the bustling market street below, alive with lanterns and laughing crowds.

”Indeed,” Wang Jian agreed. ”A beautiful night for a stroll. The festival is in full swing. Would you care to join me, Fairy Liu? It would be a shame to waste such a perfect evening cooped up in a teahouse.”

Liu Ruyan hesitated for a fraction of a second. She knew she shouldn’t. This was already crossing a line. But his invitation was so warm, so... tempting. And the thought of walking beside this handsome, powerful, and fascinating man under the light of the full moon...

”I... I would like that very much, Senior Brother Wang,” she replied, a shy smile touching her lips beneath her veil.

He paid for the tea and led her down into the festive throng. The market was a riot of color and sound. Stalls sold glowing moon-lanterns shaped like spirit beasts, street performers juggled balls of light, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of candied spirit-fruits and roasting nuts.

Wang Jian was the perfect companion. He bought her a beautiful, handcrafted silver bell charm from a trinket stall, its chime as clear and melodious as her own voice. He shared a skewer of honey-glazed spirit-apples with her, their fingers brushing as he passed it to her. They watched a puppet show depicting a famous legend of a Moon Goddess and a mortal hero, their shoulders touching in the press of the crowd.

He didn’t make any overt moves. He didn’t try to hold her hand or put his arm around her. His every action was perfectly calibrated to be charming, attentive, and utterly non-threatening, yet it created an atmosphere of undeniable intimacy. He was treating her not as a potential conquest, but as a cherished friend, a respected equal. And for Liu Ruyan, a woman accustomed to the either fawning or purely professional advances of her sect brothers, this was a new, intoxicating experience.

She found herself laughing, her usual serene composure replaced by a genuine, girlish joy. She felt... happy. More relaxed and at ease than she had in years.

As the festival reached its peak, Wang Jian leaned closer, his voice a low murmur against the backdrop of the festive noise. ”There is one more place I would like to show you, Fairy Liu. A place of quiet contemplation, away from this delightful chaos. I acquired it recently... for my alchemical studies.”

Her curiosity was piqued. ”A new place?”

He smiled, a hint of mystery in his eyes. ”Indeed. Not even my Senior Sister Yue knows of it yet. I wanted... a truly private space. Would you do me the honor of being its first guest?”

The invitation was irresistible. The promise of seeing his secret sanctuary, of being the first to share it with him... it was a potent lure. A thrill of forbidden excitement shot through her.

”I... I would be honored, Senior Brother Wang,” she whispered, her heart pounding a frantic, excited rhythm against her ribs.

He led her away from the brightly lit market, up a quiet, winding path that led into the dark, silent hills above Jade Dew Market. The festive sounds faded behind them, replaced by the chirping of crickets and the sigh of the wind through the pines.

They arrived at a secluded cave dwelling, its entrance hidden by a curtain of drooping willow vines. It was a different cave from the one he shared with Lingshan, smaller, more discreet. He had indeed acquired it just a few days prior, using a portion of his vast new wealth.

He pressed a token against the hidden array on the stone door, and it slid open silently, revealing a simple, yet immaculately clean, chamber within. A single, soft-glowing spirit lamp illuminated a small alchemy bench, a meditation mat, and a simple table with two cushions.

”Welcome, Fairy Liu,” he said, his voice a soft, intimate whisper in the silence of the cave. ”To my humble retreat.”

He closed the heavy stone door behind them, plunging the entrance into darkness, the only light now the soft glow from within. The world outside, the sect, their duties, Yue Lingshan... it all seemed to disappear, leaving only the two of them, alone in this secret, private world.

Liu Ruyan’s heart hammered in her chest. She knew, with a certainty that was both terrifying and exhilarating, that the night was about to take a very different, and far more intimate, turn.
