Chapter 834: Path of the Beast Lord

This discovery made Idan wonder about Cocoʼs real rank.

Outwardly, Coco resembled a Fox cub — a small gray lump. However, her status indicated that her rank was related to their rank.

”Could it be that Cocoʼs true rank is higher than the seventh?” Idan wondered, remembering Geminiaʼs words that only creatures of the seventh rank have the right to be called Beast lord.

”Considering that Coco came to us thanks to the System, itʼs quite possible,” Idan thought, returning to the conversation with Geminia.

”So what is hidden in this manual?” he asked Geminia, who had been watching him silently all this time.

”These volumes contain information about the Path of the Beast Lord, which allows beings like me to subjugate others, share power with them, and help them cultivate their Soul Force. At the same time, I benefit from it and strengthen my own Soul Force,” Geminia admitted.

”This path is different from the Path of the Beast Tamer.”

”Unlike Tamers, the Beast Lord does not form the Beast Souls.”

This revelation from Geminia did not leave Idan indifferent.

After a short pause, before Idan could ask his question, Geminia, noticing his interest, continued to share the information herself.

”The Beast Lord establishes a special subordinate bond between his (her) soul and the soul of a subordinate. Through this connection, he (she) shares his (her) Soul Force, thereby strengthening his (her) subordinateʼs Soul. As the subordinateʼs strength increases, the Beast Lord receives feedback, which also contributes to his (her) own Soul cultivation.”

After taking a short pause and making sure that Idan was listening attentively, Geminia continued.

”Like the Tamers, the Beast Lord is limited by the number of these connections and can only establish such a connection with six subordinates. The first three volumes contain information on how to form these special bonds with the first three subordinates.”

”Oh!” said Idan, perplexed, and seeing this, Geminia grinned and gave an explanation.

”With each new connection, the Beast Lord needs to take into account the changes in his soul and in the previously established connections. Therefore, the method described in the first volume is not suitable for creating a second connection.”

”As for the Trinity Volume, it contains information about the descendants and how the Beast Lord can help them establish similar connections even before they reach the seventh rank, while receiving substantial benefits through a parental bond with their descendant.”

When Geminia finished sharing the information, Idan fell into thought. This new hidden Path seemed to him no less amazing than the Path of the Beast Tamer himself.

”Are there any restrictions?” He asked Geminia.

”Of course there is,” Geminia replied with a smile.

”First of all, a creature that has submitted to the Beast Lord cannot cultivate the Path of the Beast Tamer. However, other Paths to cultivate the body (aura) and energy (mana) remain available.”

”Secondly, the Beast Lord cannot establish six subordinate relationships at once.”

”Just like in the case of the Path of the Beast Tamer, the Beast Lord needs to start with one creature, strengthen it, and at the same time becoming stronger, strengthen his (her) soul. Only then can new subordinate relationships be created.”

Idan nodded after hearing Geminiaʼs reply, and found it quite reasonable. It would be amazing if a seventh-rank being could immediately establish six subordinate bonds and enhance its Soul Force in an instant.

It would be somewhat unfair to Sierra and the others, who were already ranked seventh or eighth. Just like ordinary mortals, they had to start by forming the first Beast Soul, making a contract, and saturating that Beast Soul to strengthen it. Only then could they begin to form the Second Beast Soul.

Idan was full of questions.

In particular, he was worried about how Felicia could master the ”Path of the Beast Tamer”. Geminia had just made it clear that someone who had established a subordinate bond with the Beast Lord was not capable of cultivating this path.

Felicia, in turn, was subordinate to Coco.

”Either Coco has a different way of subjugating from the one hidden in the manual, or the fact is that Felicia is an awakened one, and her System, like Haileyʼs, has integrated the Path of the Beast Tamer into her power,” — Idan mused.

In addition, he was also interested in the doppelgangers and Geminiaʼs words that the Beast Lord could help his descendants gain subordinates.

Geminia shook her head, ”Itʼs impossible in my case.”

”My descendants are a bit special,” she added. ”They already have a soul-level connection to this place, so they canʼt cultivate the ʼPath of the Beast Lordʼ.”

”At least until they become completely independent, independent beings and reach the seventh rank,” Geminia concluded.

The doppelgangers were truly unique creatures.

They possessed an amazing ability to copy not only the appearance and abilities of other creatures, but also their cultivation ranks. This amazing opportunity was made possible by their connection to the Forbidden Zone, which generously shared energy with them, allowing them to even imitate creatures who had reached the Diamond Rank.

However, this ability only extended to those Doppelgangers who had not yet signed a contract with Irene and the others.

After signing the contract, the Doppelgangers severed their connection with the Forbidden Zone and established a new one with the Tamers. Their strength in this case was limited by the power of their new masters.

Thus, the Doppelgangers of Irene, Arslan, and others could copy creatures, and their rank could not exceed Golden.

”What about you?” asked Idan. ”Youʼre not just sharing this with me, are you?”

Geminia responded by giving Idan her charming smile again.

”I want to cultivate this Path, and for that, I need candidates willing to become my subordinates, as well as Soul Crystals,” she confessed. ”Although I can do without Soul Crystals, having them will greatly speed up my Soul cultivation process and help me accelerate the development of my future subordinates.”

”And besides, Iʼll need other volumes of the Manual in the future, and I know I can only get them from you and your wife,” Geminia added, and Idan nodded understandingly.

Idan saw no reason to deny Geminia the opportunity to follow this path of cultivation. He also saw no reason not to give her the Soul Crystals. After all, she was the one who helped them collect most of the Beast Soul Flowers.

As for the rest of the volumes, as the rest progress and if they have enough System Points, they will definitely acquire them.

After Idan agreed to provide Geminia with Soul Crystals and spread the word that she was looking for people willing to become her subordinates, he chatted with her for a while and returned to the Temple to return to the Kingdom.

When Idan returned, he shared all the information he had received from Jeminia with Irene.

When they were finishing discussing this issue, Sierra appeared in the Kingdom.

Bringing the news that she became the first to successfully form her First Trinity.
