Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 820: A love drama?

”Okay, we need to get back,” Idan said after they had discussed in detail not only the recent duel, but also all the battles they had experienced up to that point.

”Come back? Now?” — Arabel said in surprise, and then, blinking her eyes, smiled seductively. ”Can we stay a little longer?”

Idan, looking at his wife and her hints, swallowed hard. Although they had a stormy night, it wasnʼt enough for Awakened Ones like them. Idan, seeing that Arabel was trying to seduce him, could hardly restrain himself.

”No, we need to go back, the others are waiting,” Idan said firmly, restraining his desire to ”eat” his wife right now. He understood that it was unlikely to end in one round, and if he succumbed to his wifeʼs temptation, they would be stuck here for a long time.

”Eh... okay...” Arabel said, slightly disappointed.

”Wait until tonight, Belle,” — Idan asked, and Arabel reluctantly nodded, agreeing that she needed to try to curb her lust.

Both left the bedroom of the ”Family Home” and returned to the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, the result of the duel caused surprise to everyone.

Lina and Nemoʼs popularity skyrocketed among the Guild members, and everyone wanted to know who these two were who had managed to defeat the Guild Leaders.

Irene quickly tracked down Leo and, realizing that the defeat of Idan and Arabel could affect the trust and loyalty of the newly joined members, decided to share some information about Nemo and Lina.

”So these two are friends of the Guild Leaders from Junonia?” one of the guild members said in surprise, reading the article Irene and the others had quickly created on the Simularium page.

”And this masked guy is the senior associate of the Guild Leaders, and they are all disciples of the same Master?” This information was also made public.

”The daughter of the Sword Hero from Junonia?”

Although Valkyrie Linaʼs bloodline was not revealed, her status as the daughter of a Sword Hero was presented to explain her swordsmanship skills.

Of course, all this information was pre-agreed with Nemo and Lina, who had no objections and allowed it to be made public.

As a result, Nemo and Lina became very popular, and the reputation of Idan and Arabel did not suffer.

When Idan and Arabel found out about Ireneʼs actions, they couldnʼt help but express their gratitude to her.

”The next time you decide to do something like this, first think about the possible consequences,” Irene said sententiously.

”Thatʼs why I wanted you to lead our Guild as well, sister,” Idan said with a smile. Irene made a face of displeasure, turned around and left, but a satisfied smile appeared on her face as she realized how much her brother trusted her.

Soon, Idan and Arabel noticed a small crowd. When they got closer, they saw that almost all of their acquaintances had gathered here.

”Whatʼs going on?” Arabel asked, drawing everyoneʼs attention to herself.

She noticed that the people gathered around were divided into two groups. One group stood around Nemo and Lina, and the other, a small group, stood around the beaten Hero Ren, the leader of the Dojo Guild.

Ren looked a little pitiful, but despite that, he was still gripping the hilt of his sword tightly.

”Little sister, you missed a real love drama!” said Esma, running up to Arabel.

”A love drama?” — Arabelʼs eyebrows rose in interest when she heard Esmaʼs words.

”Yes, can you imagine, this guy, Ren, came up to Lina right in front of everyone and confessed his love for her at first sight,” Esma said laughing.

”Eh? What did you say?” — Arabel was surprised, as was Idan, who stood nearby and listened in silence.

He immediately turned his gaze to Nemo and Lina. Linaʼs face was bright red with embarrassment, and Nemo stood there calmly, like a statue. Because of the mask, it was difficult to understand his expression.

”This daredevil confessed his love to Lina right in front of Nemo!” exclaimed Esma, unable to hold back her laughter. ”Can you imagine how brave he is?”

”Let me guess. Did Nemo beat him up so badly as a result?” asked Idan, pointing at Ren.

”Well, how should I put it… It wasnʼt Nemo who beat him up like that, but Lina...” Esma said, surprising Idan even more and embarrassing Lina even more.

”But first Nemo almost killed this daredevil,” she added. ”If it wasnʼt for the timely intervention of Milica and Alois, this guy Ren would have lost his head.”

Those who knew Ren were amazed not only by his bravery, but also by the fact that he paid attention to the girl at all.

Yulaya, Hazel, Hailey, and Arslan were still in a state of mild shock. They wondered if their friend Ren had been replaced by someone else.

Despite his injury, Ren got to his feet and, under the curious gazes of others, headed towards Lina and Nemo. Alois and Milica looked at each other and understood each other without words. Each of them was ready to step in again if the situation became unexpected.

Ren stopped and lowered his head.

”I apologize for my impulsive act,” he said, surprising everyone.

”I didnʼt realize that you were already a couple, but I admit that even if I had known, I probably would have done the same,” Ren confessed.

At that moment, Idan could have sworn he noticed Nemoʼs mask twitching.

”I have never met anyone as talented and at the same time as beautiful as you,” he continued.

”I promise that I will never ask you to be my girlfriend again,” Ren solemnly vowed. ”But I would like you to teach me the art of swordsmanship, if possible. Iʼd also like to fight you, if you donʼt mind.”

Lina, still blushing from embarrassment, turned to Nemo to get his opinion. Then she turned to Ren.:

”We canʼt give an exact answer about the training yet, but we will definitely consider your request. As for the fight, we donʼt mind, but not today, but some other time.”

”Okay, thatʼs fine with me,” Ren said happily. He was not denied any of his requests. Although the issue of training remained open, he at least got an agreement to spar.

”Weird guy,” Esma commented, prompting laughter from the others.

After this event, it was time to gather information about the changes Lucindaʼs phenomenon had brought to those who watched it. It is also time to move the permanent Access Portal from the capital to the city of Nordist.

After moving to a new location, it was time to start preparing for the Third Disaster, which was just under a week away.
