Chapter 626: Sierra’s request

”Since Lina became a Champion, Dan and I have already had four Anchors,” — Arabel mused as she left the guest room.

”One of our anchors is tied in Limbo, while the other remains in an Incomplete world of Light and Darkness. Before Lina appeared, Nemo was our only walking anchor in Junonia. But now, with Lina’s arrival, there are two of them.”

Preoccupied, Arabel almost bumped into Sierra, who, noticing her, came over to discuss something with her.

”Ah, big sister,” — Arabel remarked at the last moment.

”What are you thinking about, little sister?” Sierra asked with a smile.

”About Nemo and Lina,” — Arabel replied.

”Hmm... let’s go out for a walk, I have something I want to discuss with you,” Sierra suggested. Arabel nodded, and they left the house together.

The Kingdom already had a nighttime atmosphere, but the noise was the same as during the day. The doppelgangers were actively engaged in construction, showing no signs of fatigue. As everyone noticed, this activity, which was tedious and time-consuming, clearly gave them great pleasure.

Sierra and Arabel walked slowly away from the house in silence, until Sierra stopped, raised her head and looked up.

”Did you notice that?” she asked, looking up at the night sky, where only a few artificial stars were visible.

Arabel, also staring at the black night sky, replied:

”Yeah. If we don’t take any action, it will take a long time to restore the balance between Light and Darkness, as the element of Darkness clearly prevails.”

”The same goes for the elements of fire and ice,” Arabel added, already feeling the Kingdom noticeably colder.

”And you already have a solution to this problem?” Sierra asked.

”Yes, there is,” Arabel replied.

”Let me guess: Are you going to take the Spirit Form and drain both the sources of Darkness and Ice to balance all four elements?” said Sierra, turning to Arabel.

Arabel turned around and just nodded, confirming Sierra’s guess.

”Little sister, let me absorb all this Darkness elemental energy,” Sierra asked, which couldn’t help but surprise Arabel.

”Why would an older sister...” Arabel began, but before she could ask the question, the answer came to her mind. ”Do you want to use all this Darkness elemental energy to gain your Spirit Form?”

Sierra smiled and nodded in response.

”Thanks to your phenomenon, I’ve found a clue, but I haven’t tried it yet. I need a lot of Dark elemental energy, and lately all I’ve been doing is accumulating it.

In Limbo, there are no Forbidden Zones and places rich in the element of Darkness, as well as the element of Light.

There is, of course, a Dead Lake, but it is mostly filled with the energy of Death, which, of course, is not suitable for my purposes,” having said this, Sierra raised her head, fixing her gaze on the dark sky.

”Not only I, but others have noticed that the Will of your world does not react to us and does not see us as enemies, just as Junonia’s Will does not perceive you as its enemies.”

Arabel was very interested in information about the will of the world, so she listened carefully to what Sierra was saying.

”Junonia’s Will even allowed you to gain on your Spirit Form, which changed the attitude of Limbo’s Will towards the two of you,” part of Sierra’s black outfit disintegrated, and six massive black wings materialized behind her back. ”So I thought, what if I try to gain on the Spirit Form not in Limbo, but here?”

Arabel noticed how the element of Darkness in the surroundings reacted to Sierra.

This made her remember the moment when the Guardian of Light and Erza tried to absorb the source of the elements of Darkness and Light during the battle. But it rejected them, and they could not absorb even a tiny part of the abundance of the elements of Darkness and Light.

”As I expected,” Sierra said with a smile, absorbing particles of dark energy from the surrounding space. ”The Will of your world does not reject me.”

Previously, Sierra had not dared to take such actions because of her caution. But now, having got what she wanted and satisfied, she stopped the transformation, and her wings became part of the black outfit again.

”I didn’t think about it before, but now that the elements of Light have weakened and Darkness has taken over, I feel like I can accomplish this — gain on the Spirit Form if I use such an abundance of Dark energy,” Sierra looked at Arabel with these words.

Arabel, who had never seen her adopted older sister Sierra look so expectant and a little worried before, smiled back at her.

”System, will what big sister have said work?” Arabel asked before answering. She wanted to see if it would really help Sierra, or if she needed more help. Arabel wished her older sister would succeed in trying to gain on the Spirit Form.

As if sensing Arabel’s sincere desire, the System did not remain silent and gave its answer.

[Host. It all depends on the Valkyrie herself. Although having so much darkness elemental energy is not a guarantee of success, it greatly increases her chances.]

[To further increase Valkyrie’s chances of success, this System recommends using the reserves of darkness crystals that your pet collected during her raid.]

”How could I forget about this?” she exclaimed to herself. ”Coco collected a huge amount of Darkness crystals during her raid.”

After collecting her thoughts, Arabel, noticing that Sierra was still waiting for her answer, happily said, ”If it helps big sister, then of course I don’t mind. Moreover, I can even provide as many Darkness element crystals as you need.”

A bright, grateful smile appeared on Sierra’s face.

Of course, she knew that the couple had a lot of Darkness element crystals. She saw it when they and the Queen were thrown inside the Temple.

However, her own pride did not allow her to ask for help from her juniors.

Now that Arabel had offered it herself, Sierra didn’t turn down such generosity.

”Thank you, little sister, I certainly won’t refuse your offer,” Sierra said with a smile. She raised her left hand and looked at the clock’s pattern to see how much time she had left.

”Unfortunately, my time is almost up for today, so if you’re not in a hurry, please wait until tomorrow.”

”Sure, no problem,” — Arabel agreed. After thinking for a while, she added, ”Big Sister, do you mind if other people witness your attempt?”

”Ahahaha,” Sierra laughed in response.

Her younger sister was so generous and was already thinking about helping others. Many people would give anything to witness the phenomenon in Junonia and gain enlightenment.

”Of course not. Summon anyone you wish.”

After that, Sierra returned to Limbo, and Arabel, having found Irene, began discussing with her Sierra’s upcoming attempt to take on the Spirit Form and who should be invited to this momentous event.
