CEO's Reborn Wife

”Sister Grace, it’s good enough that you came; you’ve brought so many heavy things from such a long distance.” Jane Sampson received the items Sister Grace had specially brought, thanked her, then instructed Aunt to put them away, leading Sister Grace into the house.

”Sister Grace, have you been doing well lately?” Jane Sampson pushed the fruit plate in front of Sister Grace, ”The journey must have been exhausting, have some fruit.”

At this greeting from Jane Sampson, Sister Grace shook her head gently.

At this time, no matter how much you say things are fine, it’s actually all a lie.

It’s not been long since Nia passed, and every day feels agonizing for Sister Grace.

Even now, there’s still this dream, a nightmare where when she wakes up, her child would still sweetly call her mom.

The child left so suddenly, Sister Grace thinks about her child every day.

Sighing, Sister Grace said, ”I’m fine in every way, just miss my child too much.”

In those first few days after the child left, Sister Grace would go to the child’s grave daily to see her child, every day, come rain or shine, she had to go once. Later, it was the personnel from the neighborhood office who learned about her daily visits to the cemetery, and began to counsel her, taking her to volunteer at the orphanage.

”This time, I came to the Capital Province partly for some business, and took the chance to visit the orphanage, unexpectedly encountering those two children at the orphanage.” Sister Grace sighed and lifted her eyes to look at Jane Sampson, ”It’s those two, the young siblings Mr. Miller brought, do you remember?”

Jane Sampson nodded, ”I remember.”

Later, she also encountered those young siblings once. Because of them, she directly clashed with the Miller Family witch in the hotel lobby.

The incident of the young siblings being bullied by the Miller Family was hotly discussed for quite a while because of her.

Later, the young siblings were taken to the Capital Province by Old Master Black, and then sent to the Capital Province’s orphanage, where their assets were also arranged by Old Master Black for someone to manage. Once they reach adulthood, they could retrieve it.

”Are those two children doing well in the orphanage?” Old Master Black asked, ”Back then, I specifically arranged for someone to keep an eye on those kids.”

”They’re fine, just having some trouble fitting into that environment. Those children at the orphanage, to say they’re innocent, they’re indeed innocent, but they’re also like a small social group.” Sister Grace said, ”When I went, I saw the sister holding her younger brother, sitting in a corner. After asking the teacher, I learned that the young siblings have no friends at the orphanage.”

”Why don’t they have friends? They’re very well-behaved, they don’t cause trouble.” Jane Sampson was puzzled.

”Because the teachers have been too attentive to them, they have become special in that group, and their specialness has made them isolated. However, since there are teachers watching, no one dares to bully them.” Sister Grace said, ”A group of kids was playing around on the side, while the young siblings held hands and sat quietly on the side playing with hand strings. The sister is older and more sensible, the younger brother is small and doesn’t understand, his eyes keep glancing in the direction of the other kids, he really wants to play with everyone.”

”Watching those young siblings like that, my heart aches; these young siblings don’t make noise, they sit quietly there, and seeing how sensible they are, I always think of my Nia, who was just as sensible.” Sister Grace said, her eyes turning red, ”Jane, Old Master Black, the reason I came this time is actually to ask for a favor.”

”If you have something to say, just say it, no need to ask for a favor.” Old Master Black also sympathized with this mother who has lost her child.
