CEO's Reborn Wife

”Where are you?” James Black asked, ”Switch your surveillance camera to another one, I want to see you.”

Jane Sampson then stretched out her finger to tap the switch, then stuck out her tongue at the lens, making a funny face.

”Did Thomas Lancaster add you back?” James Black knew immediately what Jane Sampson was pleased about when he saw her smiling face.

”Yes! Uh-huh!” Jane Sampson nodded repeatedly, ”Thomas Lancaster is almost pissed off.”

”It’s better for you to annoy them than annoy me,” James Black responded.

The group over there had no idea about these private conversations between the couple. If they knew, they’d probably be really frustrated.

”Jane Sampson, I have a question.” James Black wiped the sweat from his forehead with a towel, then asked, ”Why am I not in the Little Eight Team Kindergarten group?”

”I came from this kindergarten too, why are you all in the group, but not me? Hmm?” James Black asked.

Little Eight Team wasn’t the official name of the kindergarten, but at that time everyone in the yard called it that. All the kids who grew up in the yard attended this kindergarten.

This WhatsApp group has been around for a long time, but Jane Sampson wasn’t active before, and some of Thomas Lancaster’s brothers were overseas, and Alexander Forest wasn’t in the group, so it was relatively quiet.

It wasn’t until Jane Sampson entered the entertainment industry and her relationship with James Black improved that the insiders began to speculate about her love life, that the group started to liven up slowly.

Alexander Forest was later brought into the group by Thomas Lancaster.

Why wasn’t James Black added?

Because no one thought of it.

When the group was created, no one thought of adding James Black.

It’s not that everyone disliked James Black and intentionally excluded him; on the contrary, no one even had James Black’s WhatsApp. Plus, James Black’s personality was rather aloof, so everyone assumed he wouldn’t be interested in such a casual group. So when they saw James Black, they didn’t specifically ask him.

Jane Sampson, on the other hand, completely forgot.

”I’ll add you to the group right away.” Jane Sampson immediately admitted her mistake.

Only then did James Black give a satisfied ”Hmm.”

After Jane Sampson and James Black chatted for a while on the mobile phone, Aunt came to call Jane Sampson to eat some fruits, and Jane Sampson responded, then slowly returned to the room with the mobile phone in hand.

”You go ahead with your work, I’m going to eat my fruits.” Jane Sampson waved her small hand at the person in the video chat.

However, just as she sat down on the sofa, there was a guest at the door.

”Old Sir, Jane Sampson, there’s a lady named Grace at the door who says she wants to see you.” Aunt recognized Sister Grace, ”It’s the mother of the girl Nia.”

”Let her in.” Old Master Black nodded, recalling who Grace was when he heard the name. The passing of that young girl was something even Old Master Black felt sorry about.

Sister Grace was stepping into such a wealthy family estate for the first time, so she felt a bit uneasy as she followed Aunt into the house.

It wasn’t until she saw Jane Sampson waiting for her at the doorway that Sister Grace gave Jane Sampson a comfortable smile.

”Jane.” Sister Grace then greeted the Elder behind Jane Sampson, ”Hello, Old Master Black, I’m sorry for not informing you before. I came by abruptly to disturb you two.”

Sister Grace was carrying a large sack filled with some mountain specialty souvenirs she had specially brought.

”Jane, these are the specialties from our hometown. Freshly pressed tea oil from this year, wild red mushrooms from our place, some fungi, and these dried bamboo shoots.” Sister Grace smiled, ”These are the specialties from our area, I had nothing else I could bring you, just a token of my affection.”
