CEO's Reborn Wife

Oscar Wilson spent all afternoon making a call to Jane Sampson, and this was what he wanted to talk about.

After Rose Carter spoke to him about it, he made sure to keep it in mind.

”I invited a few friends this afternoon, and also had a friend call someone who works at West Crossing. Today, I’m trying my best to gather information for you about what’s going on with West Crossing and Jillian Carter. If there’s a new message, I’ll immediately call or send a WhatsAPP to inform you,” Oscar Wilson said. ”I’ve been out all afternoon living in a dream, all for your sake.”

Jane Sampson hastily spoke many pleasant words of thanks to Oscar Wilson over the phone.

Then Oscar Wilson coaxed her into treating him to a meal before finally letting him go.

Oscar Wilson and Rose Carter had already mentioned twice they would come to the Capital Province to mooch a meal from her, but in the end, they kept standing Jane up. Up to now, neither of them had set foot on the land of the Capital Province.

After hanging up the phone, Jane Sampson went to get a cup of water.

While drinking, she pondered over what Oscar Wilson had told her.

Jillian Carter was planning to sabotage JSY, and Jane Sampson could only guess that Jillian had two possible approaches.

First, it would be through computer technology, hacking the JSY online shop when it launches.

These kinds of underhanded tactics were not something Jillian Carter lacked experience in; she handled them with ease.

Moreover, Jillian Carter indeed knew people capable of such things, just like back then when she hacked Jane Sampson’s live broadcast channel.

Another way to deal with JSY likely involved targeting the designers.

What designers can do is nothing more than creating design drafts.

Jane Sampson thought that if Jillian Carter contacted those designers, it was likely to obtain the sample drafts of JSY’s new product that was about to be pre-sold, and then have West Crossing launch theirs before JSY’s online store does.

In that case, JSY, launching later, would be seen as the plagiarist.

For a newly established company that promotes itself as an original brand, starting off with an accusation of plagiarism would undoubtedly be a fatal blemish.

It would also easily become a point for competitors to attack the still-growing JSY.

As soon as Jane Sampson thought of this, she immediately made a call to the current General Manager of JSY.

Brooke Black was usually very busy with work, so regarding such matters, Jane Sampson didn’t go out of her way to find Brooke. Furthermore, the General Manager of JSY was someone introduced by Brooke, and was appointed to the position with Jane Sampson’s signature. This is a trustworthy and capable person.

”Alright, President Sampson, I’ll immediately investigate this issue. If there’s any news, I’ll promptly get back to you,” the General Manager, hearing what Jane Sampson explained, became serious at once.

This issue is by no means small. Even though it hasn’t happened yet, it was enough to leave the General Manager stunned.

”Once you’ve found out more, give me a direct call. If I don’t answer, it might be because I’m busy. I will call you back later, and I entrust this matter to you.”

After hanging up the phone, Jane Sampson kept pondering in her heart.

Once she finds out, if Jillian Carter really did make contact with West Crossing’s designers to attempt something, should she tell James Carter?

Should she let the people from the Carter Family know?

When Jillian was planning these things, Joseph Shaw probably wasn’t aware, right?

Otherwise, by now, Joseph Shaw probably wouldn’t have allowed Jillian Carter to do these things.

Jane Sampson remembered, James Carter mentioned last time that even Joseph Shaw couldn’t control Jillian Carter nowadays.
