CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2233: Chapter 2242: Never Tired of You

When I returned in the house, my legs were weak, and Jane Sampson took out her mobile phone to take a look.

Today’s steps count.

Thirteen thousand steps.

Just one afternoon.

She took a screenshot and sent it to James Black, who hadn’t returned yet.

[Picture] - Mrs. Taylor Black.

Come back in the evening and give me a leg massage, [grievance] - Mrs. Taylor Black.

When James Black saw these two messages from Jane Sampson, he was just about to leave the guard team. Seeing these more than ten thousand steps, James Black knew Jane Sampson must have been taken out shopping by her aunt who skipped class that afternoon.

James Black also guessed that if Brooke Black knew Jane Sampson was going to the Carter Family’s family banquet tomorrow, today she would certainly drag Jane Sampson out, but he didn’t expect a woman to be so ruthless when shopping.

James Black replied with a voice message.

”Alright, I’m just about to leave now, stay in home and wait for me.” - Jane Sampson’s Mr.Black.

Jane Sampson hadn’t had time to reply before her mobile phone was taken by Brooke Black.

”You two, separated for just one day, and he’s almost back, yet still sticking together on WhatsApp? Don’t you feel sick of looking at each other?” Brooke Black shook her head, ”Ah, young people, their hearts are always so full of feelings.”

”Nope.” Jane Sampson answered honestly and even asked, ”Just like you look at your uncle, do you feel bored?”

”Sick of him, why not? At home I see him, at company, still seeing him. Just because I’m sick of seeing him, that’s why I didn’t go to company this afternoon.” Brooke Black affectionately rubbed Jane Sampson’s head, ”The same face, after looking for several decades, it’s just like looking at your own face, not a bit surprising.”

”Don’t spout nonsense in front of little Jane, be careful James Black gives you a cold face when he comes back.” Elder Black took Jane Sampson’s mobile phone back for her, ”Don’t listen to your aunt’s nonsense, she just says whatever comes to her mouth. She and your uncle-in-law both call each other all the time while they are on business trip.”

Brooke Black felt dull when Elder Black tripped her up, ”I’m just teasing little Jane here, it’s so fun to tease her, dad you’re really protective.”

Elder Black snorted.

He’s protecting his great grandson!

If not protecting, what would happen if her aunt teased her away? Where would this old man cry?

James Black arrived more than an hour later, and after having dinner with Elder Black, he directly took Jane Sampson home. When he came, he sent Jane Sampson alone.

When they left, he took one person and a truckload of stuff back.

Back home, after closing the door, James Black carried the stuff to Jane Sampson’s cloakroom.

”Usually, Auntie stays at the company, it’s rare for her to go out shopping, she doesn’t know tiring. If you get tired, you tell Auntie.” James Black organized the stuff neatly.

A pile of stuff, hanging what should be hung, folding what should be folded, in a while he had it all cleaned up.

After Jane Sampson dried her hair, James Black quickly ushered her to bed, gave her a pillow to make her lie down, and massaged her legs.

Jane Sampson was chatting with Oscar Wilson about tomorrow’s matter on her mobile phone while calling out in comfort.

”Oh, and I bought you a necktie today!” Jane Sampson turned her head to look at James Black.

She was lying down and looking at James Black, it was quite a struggle, her neck almost cramped.

”Tomorrow night at the family banquet, you wear the one I bought for you.” Jane Sampson reminded him, ”Remember to put the necktie in the suitcase.”

”Already put it in.” James Black nodded.
