CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1288: Chapter 1296: So Much to Talk About

Peter Gingery scoffed, ”If you ask me, even if Jasmine Troop woke up, brother, you didn’t need to make a trip here. It’s a rare vacation, why not just stay at home and spend some time with little Jane?”

James Black glanced at Peter Gingery, ”Why so much to say?”

Peter Gingery was chocked up, staring at James Black, ”I shouldn’t have worried about you.”

Peter Gingery snorted. Indeed, James Black was not just any man, not like those new recruits, nothing here was worth his worry.

So, not worrying about James Black, Peter Gingery suddenly felt relieved, and his speech became much more relaxed and breezy.

”About Jasmine Troop’s parents, I really had enough, I’ve never seen such unreasonable people. It’s been a long time since we needed to be involved here at the hospital, I’m going back to the guard team now, what about you? Are you heading back too?” After speaking, Peter Gingery looked down at his wrist.

Realizing he forgot his watch in the dormitory because he rushed out, he casually reached to pull James Black’s hand, sure that the watch Jane Sampson gave him was still being worn.

Seeing it was already a little past eleven, Peter Gingery changed his mind, ”Never mind, I’ll just go home then. Brother, you drove here, so I’ll take your ride.”

After saying that, Peter Gingery took the car key from James Black’s hand, ”I’ll wait for you in the car.”

James Black nodded and turned towards the doctor’s office, it was this time point, and the doctor’s office was still filled with quite a few people.

At the Black Residence, after Jane Sampson hung up the phone, she felt not the slightest bit sleepy, tossing and turning as though she had insomnia.

One moment she checked her mobile phone, another she got up to sneak peeks outside the window, then lay back again. Thinking of the person causing her sleeplessness, she sat up, and in a huff, smacked James Black’s pillow a couple of times.

Finally, hearing the sound of a car in the courtyard, Jane Sampson, who had been on the bed doing pre-sleep yoga, quickly shook the quilt and burrowed into the bed.

After lying down, she thought a bit and then shuffled towards James Black’s side of the bed, only stopping when she occupied two-thirds of the bed to her satisfaction.

Downstairs, after parking the car and exchanging greetings with Peter Gingery, James Black went up to the room first, it was already very late, and he didn’t want to wake Jane Sampson, so he entered the bedroom very quietly.

Looking at the woman sprawled all over the bed, James Black stood beside the bed and chuckled softly, reached over to pull the cup covering her entire head a bit down, revealing her face from the quilt.

James Black gently stroked the messy hair of the sleeping Jane Sampson, leaned over and kissed her lips very softly, and was about to stand up to take a bath when the person supposedly asleep suddenly opened her eyes and her arms and legs instantly wrapped around his neck and waist.

Sniffing him like a dog, Jane Sampson then fiercely demanded, ”Tell me, which little demon did you go on a date with!”

James Black scoffed, flicked her forehead lightly, ”Pretending to sleep? Didn’t I tell you not to wait for me?”

”I wasn’t waiting for you, just happened to have insomnia,” Jane Sampson’s gaze flitted all over, avoiding eye contact with James Black.

”The lip says no, but the heart says yes,” James Black’s voice carried a smile as he unveiled Jane Sampson’s pretense, then he lowered his head, deepening the kiss that had just been a brief touch.

The moment she opened her eyes to look at him swept away all his irritation.

”Mm...” Jane Sampson felt almost suffocated by James Black’s kiss, and by the time she collected herself, she could hear the gentle, low chuckle of James Black by her ear.
