CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1114: Chapter 1122 Let’s Go

As she spoke, Jane Sampson’s voice softened considerably, a tenderness creeping in that even she didn’t notice as she started cooing to James Black.

”James, would it be okay if I head to the guard team a little later to keep you company?” Jane Sampson pouted her lips at the man in the video, ”Once the show is over, I’ll rush to the guard team to join you. Before we start work for the New Year, I’ll spend every day with you at the guard team. Wherever you go, I’ll follow, even to the restroom.”

The girl in the video sounded so soft and sweet, her small red lips pouted as if they were right in front of him.

He wanted to kiss her.

And he wanted to pull her into his arms for a hug.

”Do you really want to go?” James Black asked.

Jane Sampson didn’t hesitate to nod and hummed, ”Yes!”

”Then go, once your show is finished, I’ll personally drive to the TV station to pick you up and bring you back to the guard team.” Although James Black really enjoyed seeing Jane Sampson act all cutesy towards him, he was now separated by a mobile phone, unable to kiss or hug her. Watching and listening more only tormented him.

So, James Black didn’t play hard to get and agreed right away.

Seeing the stunned look on the face of the woman in his hand, James Black asked with amusement, ”I agreed, but you don’t seem very happy?”

”Happy, I am happy! But you agreed so promptly, without a hint of unhappiness, that’s a bit unfamiliar to me, hehe.” Jane Sampson was overjoyed. She had not expected James Black to be so agreeable; she was even thinking about how she could persuade him if he were unhappy.

It was precisely because he had agreed so quickly that Jane Sampson was shocked.

”Why would I be unhappy?” James Black said, ”You are an independent individual, you have things you want to do, and I will indulge you in whatever I can. It’s just coming back a little later to join me, not that you’re not coming back at all; so, I won’t be unhappy.”

James Black thought that perhaps he understood how much Jane Sampson wanted to attend this evening party.

Last time, because he had been hurt, Jane Sampson, who had looked forward so much to performing with James Carter after preparing for so long, had given up that opportunity.

For Jane Sampson, that was a true regret.

Even though she never brought it up again afterwards, James Black understood that she was only afraid that if she showed how much she regretted it, it would make him unhappy and feel guilty.

His young wife had always been gentle and kind-hearted.

”So, you’ll indulge me in anything I want to do?” Jane Sampson repeated with concern.

”Unless it’s something like murder or arson, why not?” James Black really wanted to stroke Jane Sampson’s head through the mobile phone, but seeing a flicker in her eyes, he quickly added, ”I’ll indulge you in anything I let you do, of course, ice cream, potato chips, spicy strips, that kind of stuff is not within my indulgence.”

Jane Sampson was immediately amused by James Black’s quick response and laughed, ”James, what to do, I feel like I’m falling in love with you more and more!”

”Is that so?” James Black’s eyes and eyebrows were smiling, ”Remember what you said, after becoming Movie Queen, bring me a child, boy or girl, it doesn’t matter.”

”Are you that eager for a child now?” Ever the opportunist, he’d take any chance to mention having kids to her, Jane Sampson’s cheeks flushed as she moved the mobile phone away from her face.

”Yes.” More than half a year ago, James Black never had the thought of wanting children. Back then, he hadn’t even felt that he and Jane Sampson absolutely needed to have a child.
