Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 160: Chapter 108-109:

Tang Luo was so frustrated, but there was no place to vent, so she had to lead the team to the sports field with a sulky command, starting with a warm-up exercise of jogging five laps around the track.

”Tang Luo, go back to the front of the team and lead the run!”

Just after she had complained to Luo Ye, Ma Kang’s voice sounded, and Tang Luo could only grumble and run to the front to become her team’s leader.

She seriously suspected that Ma Kang was doing this on purpose, damn it, she didn’t name names when she said he was slacking off, and besides, what she said was the truth. Since the second year of high school, classes like physical education, music, art and so on were often taken over by teachers from other subjects, and just looking at the miserable state of the classmates now, one could understand how weak everyone’s physique was.

During just the fourth lap of jogging, most of the girls had already opened their mouths to gasp for breath, their faces turning bright red, and the boys, well, weren’t much better either.

”Luoluo, you’ve got quite the stamina,” Xing Nong muttered while running.

”I’m behind you, how do you know I’ve got good stamina?” Luo Ye’s complexion didn’t change at all, as leisurely as if taking a walk in his own garden, for him, running twenty laps might just make him pant a bit.

”It’s obvious just by listening,” Xing Nong stretched his hand back: ”Come on, shake hands.”

Tian Furong, who was running alongside them, snorted disdainfully: ”What’s the big deal being able to run? If you have the ability, be as relaxed in your studies and even consider the military academy. You’re overestimating yourself.”

Xing Nong glanced at her: ”What’s it to you? It’s still better than your poor grades and poor running performance, isn’t it?”

”My grades are ahead of hers, our Princess Rong is second in the entire class,” Tian Furong said with a face full of pride.

”Who is your Princess Rong?” Xing Nong turned his head to poke Luo Ye: ”There’s a princess in our class? From which country? How come I don’t know about it?”

Luo Ye answered seriously: ”From China, the one beside you is the captain of the Flower Protection Team.”

”Oh..., I see,” Xing Nong replied in an elongated tone, infuriating Tian Furong: ”Hey, what do you mean by that?”

Before Xing Nong could reply, Ma Kang’s voice came up: ”Everyone walk slowly to cool down, and then move onto the next part, the boys will play basketball, the girls volleyball, you can form groups freely for practice.”

Tian Furong, who had been focused on competing with Xing Nongluo, rushed towards the spot where the volleyballs and basketballs were placed as soon as Ma Kang finished speaking, and several other girls quickly followed suit.

”What are they doing?” Xing Nong was somewhat confused about the situation for a moment.

”Fighting for the volleyball, what else?”

Tang Luo just happened to walk over and continued Luo Ye’s words: ”Isn’t it free grouping? They’re too lazy to pick up volleyballs, so they’re just grabbing more to have more fun playing.”

Xing Nong curled his lip: ”How can they do that, it’s so uncultured.”

”Now that only three members of the Flower Protection Team have followed, it’s already much improved. When we were in class one, other students were just picking up balls for the members of the Flower Protection Team during PE class, there was basically no chance to play.” Tang Luo said as she walked, patting Xing Nong: ”Kid, you’ll slowly get used to it. The school does district-based enrollment, it’s not some key, prestigious kind, its educational facilities are nothing special. It’s normal for students to snatch and grab for the sake of having fun. You should be surprised why the PE teachers don’t intervene, right? They’re just used to it, of course, whether this Ma Kang will or not, we don’t know, he just graduated, he might still be full of zeal.”

”I used to go to an army residential school, I’m really not quite used to this laxity.” Xing Nong sized up Tang Luo: ”Hey, you have good stamina too, after leading the way for a while, your complexion hardly changed.”

”Of course, I exercise every day. Let’s go back, old man Ma is calling us again.” Tang Luo said and grabbed the two towards the gathering point.

”Attention!”

”Stand at ease!”

Ma Kang frowned and scanned from head to toe: ”Look at yourselves, the girl at the back, are you playing softball? Have you never seen a volleyball in your life? Or are you planning to snatch it to take home and eat?”

”Ha...” Those who didn’t get a ball instantly burst into laughter, and those who did get one didn’t feel ashamed but remained smug.

”Put them all back!” Everyone hesitated a bit, and Ma Kang emphasized: ”If everyone doesn’t want their PE grades to be tarnished, it’s best to follow my instructions!”

The two boys in front were the first to put the balls next to Ma Kang, then one after another, everyone gradually placed the balls over, and Ma Kang seemed to be surrounded by a pile of balls.

”Thud,” ”Thud,” two sounds echoed, everyone watched in shock as two volleyballs bounced on the ground back and forth, these two came flying over from the back row, hitting Ma Kang’s head with great accuracy.

Ma Kang rubbed his head and looked towards the back row: ”Would the student who caused this please step forward consciously!”
