The Darkness System: Rise of the Broken Sovereign

Chapter 26: Chapter 26: What a Delicacy**

Kael lifted her off the bed like she weighed nothing.

Sophie gasped as the world tilted — her back against the wall, her legs wrapping around his waist on instinct, her arms clutching his shoulders. The lingerie was gone now. Nothing between them but heat and skin.

He held her there.

One hand under her thigh. The other braced against the wall. His silver eyes traveled down her body with the same lazy confidence he applied to everything.

”You’re beautiful,” he said.

Sophie shuddered.

”My father,” Kael continued while licking her breast, ”is four hundred years old. He’s seen empires rise and fall. He’s killed more people than exist in this city. And yet somehow, in all his centuries of existence, he looked at this—” His free hand traced from her collarbone down to her breast, cupping the heavy flesh. ”—and decided it wasn’t worth his time.”

He squeezed.

Sophie whimpered.

”Foolish,” Kael murmured. ”Monumentally foolish.”

His thumb brushed her nipple. It hardened immediately — a peak of flushed pink against pale skin. He rolled it between his fingers, and Sophie’s head fell back against the wall with a soft thunk.

”Kael—”

”Quiet. I’m not done looking.”

His mouth replaced his hand.

Sophie’s spine arched as his lips closed around her nipple — warm, wet, demanding. He sucked gently at first, then harder, his tongue flicking the peak while his teeth grazed the sensitive skin.

Something leaked from her breast.

A thin, white trickle that beaded at the edge of his mouth.

Kael pulled back.

His tongue caught the drop.

Sophie’s face burned crimson.

”I— that’s not— I didn’t know I could still—”

”Mann bloodline,” Kael said, licking his lips. ”Prolonged fertility. Enhanced bodily functions. You could probably still bear children at sixty.” His eyes met hers. ”Another thing my father wasted.”

”Please stop talking about him.”

”Why? Does it bother you?”

”Yes.”

”Good.” He returned to her breast. ”It should bother you that you gave twenty years to a man who didn’t deserve one night.”

His mouth worked her nipple again. More milk leaked — thin, warm, sweet. He drank it without comment, his throat working as he swallowed, and Sophie’s moans climbed higher with each pull.

Her pussy dripped onto his stomach.

She could feel it — the slick heat smearing across his abs every time she shifted. She was so wet it was almost embarrassing.

Kael released her breast with a wet pop and looked down.

His fingers found her.

”Fuck,” he said quietly.

Sophie couldn’t respond. His fingertips had brushed her clit, and every thought in her head had dissolved into static.

”You’re soaked.” He slid two fingers along her slit, coating them in her arousal. ”When did this start?”

”When— ahh— when I put on the lingerie.”

”Y-yes.”

”You’ve been dripping for an hour?”

”Longer.”

”How much longer?”

”Three years.” Her voice cracked.

His fingers pushed inside her.

Sophie screamed.

The estate walls were thick, and Sophie had learned long ago to muffle herself. But the sound was raw — torn from somewhere deeper than her throat, a sound of relief that had nothing to do with physical pleasure.

His fingers curled.

Found the spot.

Pressed.

”Aaaah— Kael— please—”

”Please what?”

”More— I need—”

”You need?” He curled his fingers again. ”Say it.”

”I need your cock.”

”Where?”

”Inside me— fuck — inside me, please, I’ve needed it for so long—”

Kael pulled his fingers out.

Sophie whined at the loss.

He brought his fingers to his mouth and sucked them clean, maintaining eye contact the entire time.

Then he carried her back to the bed.

He laid her down like she was something precious.

Her head on the pillows. Her hair spread across the sheets. Her body open and vulnerable and trembling.

Sophie looked up at him.

He stood at the edge of the bed, fully naked, fully hard, silver eyes raking over her with that same lazy ownership.

”Show me,” he said.

Sophie’s hands trembled as they moved down her body. Past her stomach. Past her trembling thighs. To the wet, swollen flesh between her legs.

She parted herself with her fingers.

Pink. Glistening. Clit swollen and peeking from its hood. Entrance slick and open, practically begging.

”Who am I,” Kael murmured, crawling onto the bed, ”to reject such a fine delicacy?”

He positioned himself between her thighs.

The head of his cock brushed her entrance.

Sophie’s breath stopped.

He pushed inside.

”Aaaaaahnn—!”

The stretch was immediate. Overwhelming. He was bigger than she remembered — thicker, longer, more. Three years of body refinement had changed him in ways her memory hadn’t captured.

He bottomed out.

Sophie saw stars.

Kael didn’t move. He held himself there, buried to the hilt, letting her adjust. His jaw was tight. Sweat beaded on his forehead. The control it took to stay still was visible in the tension of his shoulders, the clench of his thighs.

”Okay?” he ground out.

”Move,” Sophie gasped. ”Please— move—”

He pulled back.

Slammed in.

PAM!

The sound of skin against skin cracked through the room like a slap. Sophie’s breasts bounced with the impact. Her back arched off the mattress.

Kael set a brutal pace.

Not gentle. Not slow. Hard, deep strokes that punched the air from her lungs with every thrust. His hips slapped against hers in a relentless rhythm — pam, pam, pam, pam — each impact sending shockwaves of pleasure up her spine.

”Kael— aah— Kael—”

”Say my name again.”

”Kael— fuck — Kael—”

”Louder.”

”KAEL!”

He grabbed her thighs and pushed them back, folding her nearly in half, changing the angle. The new position let him sink deeper, hitting a place inside her that made her vision blur.

Sophie screamed into the pillow.

Muffled. Wet. Desperate.

Kael pulled the pillow away.

”I want to hear you.”

”I can’t— it’s too much—”

He leaned down, his chest pressing against her breasts, his mouth beside her ear. ”You will.”

He fucked her harder.

Pam! Pam! Squeeech!

The wet sounds of their coupling filled the room — the squelch of her arousal, the slap of his thighs, the creak of the bed frame. Sophie’s nails raked down his back, leaving red lines that healed almost instantly. His Void Body Refinement had made his skin resistant to damage.

She couldn’t even mark him.

That thought — tiny, irrational — made her wetter.

”Close,” she gasped. ”I’m close—”

”Already?”

”No.” Kael pulled out.

Sophie sobbed.

”No,” he repeated, flipping her onto her stomach. ”You don’t get to cum yet.”

He entered her from behind.

The new angle was devastating. His cock hit her G-spot with every thrust, and Sophie’s face buried into the mattress as she moaned and screamed and drooled into the sheets.

Pam! Pam! Pam!

Her ass rippled with each impact. Her breasts swung beneath her, heavy and pendulous, swaying in time with his rhythm. Milk leaked from her nipples, pooling on the sheets beneath her.

Kael noticed.

His hand reached beneath her and grabbed her breast, squeezing, milking. Thin white streams sprayed onto the bed as he fucked her.

Sophie couldn’t form words at this point.

She could only feel his cock inside her.

His cock splitting her open. His hand on her breast. His breath on her neck. His voice in her ear — low, commanding, unshakeable.

”Mine,” he said. ”Say it.”

”Yours— aah— I’m yours—”

”Again.”

”I’m yours, Kael— fuck — only yours—”

”Again.”

”I’M YOURS!”

Her orgasm hit like a thunderclap.

Sophie’s entire body seized. Her pussy clamped down on his cock like a vice, pulsing, milking, demanding. Her vision went white. Her ears rang. Her mouth opened in a silent scream that eventually found voice as a long, broken wail.

”AAAAAAAAHHNNN—!”

Kael didn’t stop.

He fucked her through it — hammering into her spasming body with the same relentless pace, extending her orgasm until it blurred into a second one, then a third.

Sophie sobbed.

”Too much— can’t— please—”

”One more.”

”I can’t—”

”You can.” He grabbed her hair and pulled her head back. ”Give me one more.”

He slammed into her.

PAM!

Her fourth orgasm crashed through her.

This time, Kael came with her.

He buried himself to the hilt and held there, his cock pulsing, flooding her with heat. Sophie felt every throb, every spurt, every drop of him filling her until it leaked out around his shaft and dripped down her thighs.

They collapsed together.

Panting. Sweating. Sophie’s face pressed into the mattress, Kael’s weight on her back, his cock still inside her, softening slowly.

The room smelled like sex.

Sophie couldn’t stop shaking.

Kael pressed a kiss to her shoulder.

”Round two,” he murmured.

Sophie laughed — a broken, breathless, hysterical sound.

”You’re going to kill me.”

”Possibly.” He pulled out with a wet schlick. ”But what a way to go.”

He rolled her onto her back.

His cum leaked from her swollen pussy, pooling on the sheets.

Sophie looked at him with hazy, satisfied eyes.

Kael’s silver gaze traveled down her body — the bite marks on her neck, the fingerprints on her thighs, the milk still beading on her breasts, the cum dripping from her entrance.

”Beautiful,” he said.

And he meant it.

They fucked until dawn.

Sophie lost count of how many times she came. Four became six became eight became lost. Kael was relentless — barely pausing between rounds, recovering with a speed that shouldn’t have been possible for someone his age. Void Body Refinement. Core Formation stamina. A Transcendent core that regenerated mana faster than he could spend it.

He took her on her back. On her stomach. From behind. Sideways. Against the wall. On the floor. In the small washroom with her braced against the sink, watching in the mirror as his cock disappeared inside her over and over.

She rode him twice — once facing him, once facing away. The second time, he grabbed her hips and slammed her down so hard she saw stars, his fingers digging bruises into her skin that she prayed would last.

By the time the three moons began to set, Sophie was a wreck.

Her thighs were trembling. Her pussy was swollen and sore. Bite marks covered her neck, breasts, and inner thighs. Her lips were bruised from kissing. Her voice was hoarse from screaming.

And she was smiling.

The most genuine smile of her life.

Kael lay beside her, one arm behind his head, staring at the ceiling. He looked barely winded. A light sheen of sweat. A few scratches on his shoulders that had already faded.

”Tomorrow,” Sophie whispered.

”Mm?”

”I leave for the academy tomorrow.”

”I know.”

”Will you...” She hesitated. ”Will you think about me? While you’re gone?”

Kael turned his head to look at her.

”Probably not.”

The words should have crushed her.

They didn’t.

Because the way he said them — honest, unflinching, without cruelty — was exactly why she loved him.

”But,” he added, ”when I come back, I’ll visit.”

Sophie’s heart clenched.

”Promise?”

”No promises.” He reached over and flicked a strand of hair from her face. ”But I’ll try.”

That was enough.

She closed her eyes and pressed against his side, listening to his heartbeat.

Within seconds, she was asleep.

Kael stayed awake.

He looked at the ceiling.

Then at Sophie.

Then at the door.

Dawn approaches, the System said. Your transport leaves at noon.

”I know.”

You should rest.

Kael extracted himself from Sophie’s grip, pulled on his clothes, and walked to the door.

He paused.

Looked back at her.

Kael left the room.

The door closed softly behind him.
