I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 924: Chapter 924: Can I Get Some Time Off?

Divine Power and Power of the Primordial, once consumed, cannot be replenished in a short time. With only one percent recovery per second, even if Lin Yi doesn’t use other divine skills, this Unbreakable skill can only last for two hundred seconds.

This huge consumption means the skill can only be activated briefly.

Continuing to read the skill’s introduction, Lin Yi somewhat understands why this skill consumes so much.

[Skill Cooldown: None]

[Unbreakable 1: The Caster can rapidly burn their own Divine Power and Power of the Primordial to activate the Invincible state. In this state, the Caster can completely immunize against the attacks from attackers at the same level or one level higher. If the attacker’s Divine Power is two levels or higher than the Caster’s, then the damage reduction ratio will continuously shrink according to the power gap between the two sides.]

[Note: I’m invincible, do as you please]

After seeing the skill introduction, Lin Yi could only feel awe from the bottom of his heart.

Considering the skill’s consumption, this skill is indeed a rather black-hole skill.

If the timing is not mastered well, all subsequent attack plans will be affected.

But in terms of skill effect, this is undoubtedly an absolute divine skill.

The evasion and invincible effect brought by the Flash skill allowed Lin Yi to exhibit great power on Blue Star. It’s no exaggeration to say, at the moment Lin Yi mastered the Flash skill, almost no one on Blue Star could threaten Lin Yi’s safety.

Using this method, Lin Yi was invincible on Blue Star, unmatched.

But once he left Blue Star, Lin Yi’s Flash skill no longer provided the same ease.

After leaving Blue Star, the strong ones he encountered either mastered the strongest Power of the Primordial or Divine Power from divine beings. Lin Yi’s Flash skill completely failed to meet the triggering conditions; in other words, the skill was rendered useless.

At first, Lin Yi was somewhat unaccustomed to it.

As the battles became more frequent, Lin Yi gradually adapted to life without the Flash skill.

And now, after learning the Invincible state, Lin Yi regained that previous sense of confidence.

Although the Unbreakable skill isn’t meant for long-term maintenance, it can be decisive at critical moments.

Just like when fighting against opponents of similar strength, Lin Yi chose not to fight hard but used the Unbreakable skill to withstand the enemy’s attack. In this way, the consumption Lin Yi faced in battle was far less than that of his opponent. Lin Yi used minimal cost to deal with the enemy’s major attack.

Moreover, Lin Yi would not suffer any harm.

Such a divine skill is not something everyone can possess. For Lin Yi, the gift Zacks gave is indeed too generous.

However, this isn’t all that Lin Yi can rejoice in.

Because with the current divine skill Unbreakable, Lin Yi is not just stuck at the first level.

[Unbreakable 2: The Caster can rapidly burn their own Divine Power and Power of the Primordial to activate the Invincible state. In this state, the Caster can completely immunize against the attacks from attackers at the same level or one level higher. If the attacker’s Divine Power is higher than the Caster’s, then the damage reduction ratio will continuously shrink according to the power gap between the two sides. Skill level 2 consumption: 0.8% Divine Power or Power of the Primordial consumed per second]

[Unbreakable 3: The Caster can rapidly burn their own Divine Power and Power of the Primordial to activate the Invincible state. In this state, the Caster can completely immunize against the attacks from attackers at the same level or one level higher. If the attacker’s Divine Power is higher than the Caster’s, then the damage reduction ratio will continuously shrink according to the power gap between the two sides. Skill level 3 consumption: 0.8% Divine Power or Power of the Primordial consumed per second, currently increasing damage mitigation by 15%]

Looking at the skill introduction of the Invincible state, who wouldn’t be excited?

It’s no exaggeration, as long as Lin Yi carefully trains the skills given by Zacks to mastery, even facing opponents stronger than himself, he would have a chance of escape.

Therefore, Lin Yi became increasingly curious about these three skills given by Zacks.

He wanted to see how many skill points are needed to upgrade the Unbreakable skill to level 4.

To his surprise, the skill points needed as the skills progressed increased considerably.

Lin Yi maintained his previous thoughts.

Gathering so many skill points wasn’t easy, investing all of them into life-saving skills wouldn’t be wise.

If he just lacked a bit of output to secure victory at critical moments, how frustrating would that be?

Retracting his thoughts from skill points, Lin Yi remembered his identity.

If the mission didn’t involve meeting Zacks, it would have been a very simple task.

With Lin Yi’s strength, dealing with ordinary Divine Soldiers was not just a matter of convenience?

Next, Lin Yi needed to calm down and settle.

To have this time, he must get permission from the Dragon Queen.

Thereupon, after reviewing his skills, Lin Yi went straight to where the Dragon Queen was.

As a key figure in Dark Rising, the Dragon Queen was in charge of personnel transfer.

Deciding who should go to which planet, what contribution they should make to the organization, was basically arranged by the Dragon Queen.

For the peace ahead, Lin Yi specifically took the trip.

”Hmm? Why do I feel that your Divine Power aura has slightly enhanced, is it my illusion?”

Upon seeing Lin Yi arrive, the Dragon Queen dismissed the Dark Rising member discussing the task with her and warmly received Lin Yi.

The Dragon Queen is good-hearted and was kind to Ao Shu, but Lin Yi still couldn’t fully trust her.

Therefore, Lin Yi said it was the Dragon Queen’s misconception.

”It’s nothing more than dealing with some ordinary Divine Soldiers, there’s no training effect, right, Dragon Queen, this time I came to apply to you for some training time.”

”Over this course, I’ve obtained many good things. It’s just that I always haven’t had the time to integrate these good things thoroughly, so today I’m specifically applying to you, asking for a break or something.”

Upon hearing Lin Yi’s words, the Dragon Queen couldn’t help but laugh.

To the Dark Rising Organization, Lin Yi was extremely valuable.

His intention to train was a fortunate event for the Dark Rising Organization.

The younger generation wanting to revisit their achievements after accomplishments is such a rare quality, how could Dark Rising refuse?

Moreover, Dark Rising is currently very popular; countless experts from the Three Realms and Six Paths want to join, so human resources are certainly not lacking.

”Of course, as long as you’re willing, you can retreat for a hundred or thousand years, it’s not a problem. The battle with All Celestial Divine Beings won’t end in a short time, it may persist for centuries or millennia.”

”If you can take advantage of this peaceful time to enhance your strength, then to Dark Rising, you may become a key card for overturning the game in the future.”
