I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 904: Chapter 904: Strength and Mindset

Looking at Lin Yi’s expression which seemed slightly conflicted, the Dragon Queen instantly saw through what Lin Yi was thinking.

”Hahaha, young man, you need not worry about this. The hatred towards Blue Star Professionals, the anger towards Xia - the moment I saw you, all those feelings vanished completely.”

As the old Dragon God, Dragon Queen’s insight was incredibly terrifying.

The instant she met Lin Yi, she clearly sensed the aura of the Dragon God on him.

Importantly, Lin Yi bore no resentment, meaning that this new generation of the Dragon God willingly followed Lin Yi.

Given his understanding of the history between the Dragon Race and Xia, the choice he made showed one thing—Lin Yi had completely resolved the conflict between the Dragon Race and Xia.

Indeed, upon noticing Lin Yi’s concern, the old lady pulled Lin Yi into his room.

The whole courtyard was quite retro and elegant, immersing one in a feeling of returning to Xia.

This décor must have been specially designed by Dragon Queen after knowing about Lin Yi.

After inviting Lin Yi to sit down, Dragon Queen began to introduce.

”These four behind you are Goddesses, products cultivated by Dark Rising. Goddesses, they lack self-awareness; you only need to imprint your essence blood on their foreheads, and they will devotedly follow you, do anything for you - anything indeed.”

The latter part of the sentence carried a slight tease from Dragon Queen towards Lin Yi.

”Thank you, senior.”

Lin Yi gladly accepted without being polite.

Later, through Dragon Queen’s words, he learned that having Goddesses was a symbol of status in this dark palace.

The more Goddesses one possesses, the higher the status in Dark Rising.

Even someone as formidable as Chai Po only had three Goddesses.

It’s undeniable that Dark Rising highly valued this young man, Lin Yi.

To give him such arrangements.

”Ah, speaking of the battle thousands of years ago, I still remember it vividly.”

The old woman could never forget the day she was betrayed.

Just because her power was too formidable, she was backstabbed by her most trusted ally, who conspired with outsiders to take her down.

Initially, Dragon Queen harbored resentment.

Especially in the period immediately after being rescued by Dark Rising, revenge occupied her every moment.

However, members of Dark Rising constantly thwarted her revenge.

They laid out plans for her, telling Dragon Queen there were matters of greater importance than seeking revenge on Blue Star Professionals.

Thus, Dragon Queen’s revenge was continuously postponed.

As time passed, the longer Dragon Queen stayed at Dark Rising, her rights and duties increased, and she gradually let go of the hatred and reconciled with herself.

At Dark Rising Headquarters, she witnessed countless Divine Beings’ ugly faces, and as for humanity, naturally, it would develop in a hideous direction.

Her obsession slowly transformed into concern for the descendants of the Dragon Race.

Concern about whether the Dragon Race could coexist harmoniously with humans.

”Since being rescued by Dark Rising members, they helped me fully uncover the remaining bloodline within me, allowing my power to take a qualitative leap. Looking back, I was truly pitifully weak; to be surrounded by Blue Star War God Professionals, haha.”

As she said this, Dragon Queen laughed heartily.

It wasn’t hard to hear that she had completely let go of millennia-long resentment.

Indeed, nowadays, Dragon Queen’s strength surpassed both Chai Po and Ruolan; with such strength, even if all Blue Star Professionals came together, they couldn’t be a match for the Dragon Queen.

The heart is closely connected to power.

With increased strength comes an elevated mindset, and an elevated mindset naturally disregards those small past grudges.

”By the way, kid, how’s the Dragon Race development later on? With your strength, undoubtedly the top on Blue Star, the Dragon God lineage as the strongest in the Dragon Race, becoming your Battle Pet, you should be able to perfectly reconcile the two races’ conflict.”

Talking about the development of the Dragon Race made Lin Yi feel headachy.

Certainly, with his identity as Blue Star’s strongest Professional and Ao Shu as the Dragon God, it’s quite simple to smooth over the two races’ relations.

Yet, before becoming the strongest, the Dragon Race already faced a catastrophic disaster.

After much thought, Lin Yi decided to narrate the events regarding Nibelungen to the Dragon Queen.

Upon listening, a hint of loneliness appeared in Dragon Queen’s eyes.

She couldn’t help but sigh.

”Ugly humanity, in the end, it spread to the Dragon Race, didn’t it? Who would have thought that those powerful dragons would commit such egregious acts just for a boost in power.”

Lin Yi said nothing, silently accompanying from the side.

Once Dragon Queen’s emotions calmed down, he summoned Ao Shu from the Battle Pet Space.

Ao Shu was Ao Xue’s child, yet Ao Shu inherited the Dragon Queen’s Dragon God lineage.

In the moment their eyes met, Ao Shu felt an unprecedented sense of warmth.

”Lin Yi brother, who is this?”

Younger Ao Shu seemed slightly shy.

In the moment of facing Dragon Queen, she felt the warm aura emanating from her.

Yet, this aura confused the young Ao Shu.

Dragon Queen didn’t mind, feeling rather pleased.

She sensed Ao Shu’s trust in Lin Yi, and more importantly, she perceived a powerful aura from Ao Shu that was beyond her age.

Logically, the Dragon Race lineage should grow stronger over time.

This clearly showed that Ao Shu was well-cared for, bringing great comfort to the Dragon Queen.

”Little Ao Shu, you can call her Dragon Granny, she’s of the same lineage as you. Haven’t you wanted to grow stronger to share my burden? This is the perfect opportunity.”

In no time, Lin Yi released Xiyue and Ziyue from the Undead Space.

Now that it was completely safe, there was no need for the two women to continue hiding there.

Xiyue’s reaction was calm.

No matter where Lin Yi was, she just followed, as for Lin Yi’s current identity and status, she couldn’t care less.

Her heart recognized only Lin Yi as a person.

But Ziyue, she was different.

Though she was coerced, she was still technically Lin Yi’s superior, accompanying him on missions allowed her to witness the differences in skill, gradually letting go of her superior stance.

Yet, just how long has it been, Lin Yi’s identity completed a 180-degree transformation.

Bear in mind, Ziyue wasn’t qualified to reside in Dark Rising Headquarters.

This left her unexpectedly excited.

Luckily for her, Dragon Queen was in a good mood, finding acquaintances in a foreign land, especially a kin, inevitable joy.

Thus, Dragon Queen didn’t stick to the rules, opting instead to elevate Ziyue’s status under the pretext of completing difficult missions, granting her the qualification to barely live within Dark Rising Headquarters.
