I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 921: Chapter 921: Breaking the Cocoon

In this regard, Lin Yi cannot compare.

Even though Lin Yi’s understanding of the Truth Law surpasses Cheng Xiao, he cannot develop such a comprehensive application of the Law like Cheng Xiao.

Seeing Lin Yi fall into contemplation, seemingly gaining some insight, Wo Zhiqi showed a comforting expression.

”Kid, do you really think staying inside you is my only option? Look across the entire Three Realms and Six Paths, who wouldn’t want to obtain my abilities? From the Divine Artifact that was lost and regained by me, you should sense just how terrifying my power is.”

As he spoke, Wo Zhiqi suddenly realized he was speaking out of turn.

At the moment, Zacks was still outside trying to dissolve Lin Yi’s body at the slowest possible pace, and in order to give Lin Yi more opportunities to grasp new abilities, Zacks was doing his utmost to suppress his own power.

”Hey, kid, how should I put it, that guy wants you to comprehend something, and we all know it. But we can’t directly tell you. You should understand why he is acting against you like this; having the determination to face certain death is necessary.”

”Lastly, let me tell you something, everything in the world is interconnected. Everything about you can be combined and used together. Hurry up, go outside and gain enlightenment.”

In the space of Divine Sense, Wo Zhiqi kicked Lin Yi square in the chest, kicking his thoughts back into reality.

The piercing pain, like a current of electricity, spread through the cavity in his chest, conducting throughout his body, fully activating the adrenaline within Lin Yi, pushing him into a state of extreme excitement.

At this moment, Lin Yi clearly saw the lightning flickering on his chest, and distinctly felt his body being devoured.

The physical pain, Lin Yi could endure.

But that’s not important.

The important thing is that Lin Yi could clearly feel the connection between his body and his soul being reduced more and more. Yet, despite being mentally clear, he couldn’t control his body to do anything. The Divine Power within could not circulate, and the Supreme Law immortality could not help to recover. What could be done?

Recalling the words Wo Zhiqi just spoke, Lin Yi was still clueless.

Everything in the world is interconnected.

Yes, they are interconnected, but the connections between things that have too big a disparity are very sparse, sometimes nonexistent.

Take, for example, an average Blue Star citizen who is not a Professional; the difference in strength between him and Zacks is so great that their connection is probably negligible.

If one really had to say there’s a connection, it’s only the possibility of Zacks casually destroying Blue Star one day, leading to some sort of relation.

Exactly!

But Lin Yi is different, because possessing extraordinary talent and his rapid improvement in strength allowed him to wield commendable Divine Power and Power of the Primordial, barely making him a notable fighter in the Three Realms and Six Paths.

Otherwise, where would the relevance between Zacks and Lin Yi come from, how could there be such an exchange of battles?

Right!

Right, right, right! That’s the rationale!

As Lin Yi thought about it, he suddenly realized.

Indeed, Wo Zhiqi was right; everything in the world is interconnected, just that the degree of connection varies.

The connection between Lin Yi and Zacks is the best example!

How to explain it specifically?

If we use human action guidelines to analyze, it equates to sameness.

The reason Lin Yi can fight Zacks and wasn’t killed in one move is because there is sameness between them.

This sameness is manifested in the Divine Power and the Power of the Primordial.

Wanting to battle Zacks requires possessing these two strengths as a base.

If he didn’t even have these two strengths, he would probably be swept away by Zacks carelessly.

Currently, the skill Lin Yi can still use is the Immortal skill taught by Zacks.

The skill most correlated with this is evidently, isn’t it the prerequisite skill [Undying] that Lin Yi already mastered?

Previously, Lin Yi considered the skill [Undying] as a one-time forgiveness, never truly examining its mysteries.

Looking back now, there are indeed many aspects worth Lin Yi’s careful savoring.

”Yo, kid, you seem to have found the knack to it.”

Zacks, who was working on it, vaguely sensed the slow revival of vitality within Lin Yi.

At that moment, the killing intent on his face completely withdrew, even transformed into a different appearance.

Yes, he indeed changed his appearance, showing his original look.

It was a handsome and charming face of a Xia person.

At this moment, his face was full of relief.

Yet, the Divine Power output in his hands did not show any sign of reduction.

Zacks clearly understood that the understanding derived in dire straits surpasses countless times of refinement in peaceful environments.

Only in a desperate situation can a person fully unleash their potential to accomplish things impossible on ordinary days.

Therefore, Zacks needed to continuously intensify the Divine Power output.

Upon scrutinizing the two Divine Skills for their different effects, Lin Yi discovered their commonalities and differences.

What he could think of was combining the two different Divine Skills to create a Divine Skill with more powerful effects.

This direction is correct.

After finding the commonalities between the two Divine Skills, Lin Yi’s [Immortal] skill began to emit a subtle vitality.

The parts of the body eroded by Zacks’ Divine Power began to gradually recover.

However, doing so cannot merge the two Divine Skills to create a new one.

To achieve this, it is necessary to find the differences between the two Divine Skills, merge these differences together, and find a suitable balance amidst the contradictions.

Correct, little by little!

Confirming his speculation and knowing that Zacks did not have true killing intent towards him, Lin Yi wasn’t hasty but instead advanced steadily and took each step to resolve the challenges he faced.

The speed at which his corroded body recovered gradually increased.

Thus, Lin Yi’s body began to recover, after recovery, destroyed by Zacks, after destruction, restored again.

This repeated tug-of-war allowed Lin Yi to continuously enhance the fusion of the two Divine Skills; each time his body was restored, its strength was slightly higher than before.

Until finally, Zacks’ Divine Power output could no longer disturb his restored body.

Feeling the total revival and operation of the Divine Power within Lin Yi, sensing his Divine Power being shut out, Zacks knew, the boy Lin Yi had succeeded.

Thus, Zacks retreated to one side, waiting for Lin Yi to awaken.

Before long, Lin Yi opened his eyes.

A faint layer of golden light covered his body surface.

The moment he awoke, he quickly stepped forward, deeply bowing to Zacks.

”Thank you, senior, may I know your esteemed name?”

In talent, Lin Yi was strong, and in strength, there was no doubt.

The clarity of his enmity and gratitude was a character he could not separate from.

Along the way, Zacks had helped immensely, Lin Yi saw some of it, but he knew Zacks probably did much more behind the scenes to assist him.

Such kindness, he didn’t know how to repay, only offering sincere courtesy.
