Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

190: Chapter 190 Nine Purple Fire LuckBeiling City.

After the seawater backflowed to the vicinity, it stopped advancing.

With the magnetic field restored, the area around Beiling City began the reconstruction of a brand-new military port.

Under the multiple buffs of the infrastructure giants and military factories, this military port was rebuilt in just half a month.

This port was primarily intended to serve as a Naval Department Base.

At this moment, Commander Tang Ze looked at the brand-new Naval Department Base, feeling a sense of deep emotion.

From the design and scale to various equipment and personnel staffing, it was essentially the same as the previous Pearl River military port.

The only difference was the energy source.

Previously, it primarily used thermal power generation.

Now, it had fully transitioned to the new energy of Controlled Nuclear Fusion.

Currently, the country’s first Controlled Nuclear Fusion power station was located in Zhongsha City.

Because Zhongsha City was located in the core of the national inland and had taken in a large number of coastal residents, its energy demand had reached astronomical figures.

Therefore, immediately after the breakthrough in Controlled Nuclear Fusion, the state built this power station in Zhongsha City.

The energy for Beiling City was precisely transmitted from Zhongsha City.

According to the power station’s calculations, transmitting this energy across thousands of kilometers achieved a conversion efficiency of 90%; the only actual cost was the equipment transmission fee!

As for the energy itself, it was no longer worth much.

After all, any substance on the periodic table lower than iron could have a small fraction of its mass converted into terrifying levels of energy.

And such substances were everywhere.

So energy was simply dirt cheap.

As energy became cheap, the productivity of the entire society, which had been suppressed, naturally began a massive explosion.

Because the first to achieve the breakthrough was the Dragon Kingdom, global capital and talent began to pour in once again.

The world entered a new stage of development.

“Energy, technology, culture, mature women... this is the great prosperity of the Three Cycles and Nine Periods! The i ching was indeed correct!”

Commander Tang Ze felt a wave of emotion as he watched the prosperity return after the opening of the Beiling City port.

A man in his fifties, he was quite fond of the i ching, the head of all classics in ancient Dragon Kingdom culture.

However, many times, this ancient text was disparaged as unscientific.

A subordinate nearby asked curiously, “Commander Tang, what are the Three Cycles and Nine Periods?”

Commander Tang Ze smiled slightly and explained it to him.

The ancients defined 20 years as one Period; three 20-year periods make one Cycle.

Nine Periods make 180 years.

The first three Periods are the Upper Cycle.

The middle three are the Middle Cycle.

The last three are the Lower Cycle.

According to this method, one can derive the distribution of fortune for the last 180 years.

Namely...

Period 1 White, 1864-1883.

Period 2 Black, 1884-1903.

Period 3 Blue-Green, 1904-1923.

Period 4 Green, 1924-1943.

Period 5 Yellow,

Period 6 White,

Period 7 Red,

Period 8 White, 2004-2023, Earth.

Period 9 Purple, 2024-2043, Li Fire.

“And currently, we are in the ninth period of the Lower Cycle, the Period 9 Li Fire Fortune.”

“It is the greatest of golden ages!”

Commander Tang Ze explained.

In the previous Period 8, Earth dominated; large-scale construction flourished, infrastructure exploded, real estate prospered, and ’pretty boys’ and ’little fairies’ as incarnations of material desire ran rampant across the world.

In the next Period 9, Fire dominates; energy updates, smart technology, cultural yearning, spiritual pursuits, an era of ultra-high singlehood rates, where sophisticated, cultured, and well-educated older sisters remain popular—these are the ’mature women’.

“Commander Tang, I didn’t realize you also understood Feng Shui and fortune,”

the subordinate complimented.

Commander Tang Ze smiled calmly: “In ancient times, there was the Imperial Astronomical Bureau, specialized in observing celestial movements to calculate the imperial fortune. If they calculated wrong, it could mean the collapse of a dynasty and their heads rolling... Do you know who was the last one to calculate incorrectly?”

“Who?”

“The Great Qing! They miscalculated the birthplace of Mr. Sun. Later, that group of people from the Imperial Astronomical Bureau were all beheaded.”

The subordinate marveled: “Even that can be calculated?”

Commander Tang Ze looked at the starry sky and nodded: “If we scold someone, their emotions will fluctuate. As Earth is one of the celestial bodies in the universe, how could it not be affected by other celestial bodies?”

“Not to mention the Earth’s magnetic field, which I believe you’ve already felt.”

“Let’s talk about national fortune!”

“The fortune of a nation is also closely related to celestial movements,”

Commander Tang Ze said.

The subordinate became interested: “Then can you calculate the recent national fortune? Preferably in more detail.”

“The recent one? That’s simple. Right now, the East Wind is prevailing over the West Wind, and the West Wind is going to resist,” Commander Tang Ze said.

The subordinate didn’t understand: “The lighthouse has been extinguished, and Western Europe has given up. Where is there any West Wind left?”

“I’m not talking about the West Wind on the surface. In the development process of Mediterranean civilization, the Age of Discovery we see is only on the surface; behind it, there are powerful biological entities driving it.”

Commander Tang Ze squinted his eyes.

Many countries knew that the United States had extraterrestrial life forms.

But very few people knew about those ancient stories behind the Western European Mediterranean civilization.

“Supernatural biological entities?”

The subordinate realized.

Recently, the oceans had expanded, strange birds had appeared, and the Deep Space Giant Monkey had emerged on the Antarctic continent. As the birthplace of Western European civilization, it was natural for the Mediterranean to have supernatural biological entities.

Commander Tang Ze nodded: “Yes, that’s what I’m worried about. I don’t know exactly how powerful those supernatural biological entities are.”

“Could they be stronger than the one at the Dragon God Academy?”

the subordinate asked.

Currently, the highest-ranking being in the Dragon Kingdom was the one serving as a teacher at the Dragon God Academy.

If even he couldn’t handle it, then this East Wind might stop at the Mediterranean.

Commander Tang Ze shook his head: “We haven’t competed, so it’s unclear. The only certainty is that our Dragon Kingdom doesn’t have many high-sequence biological entities, but there are very many over in the Mediterranean!”

“We are currently in the Period 9 Li Fire Fortune, and they want to interrupt it. That’s impossible, but they might obstruct us from blowing the East Wind over there.”

Commander Tang Ze understood.

The fortune of this world is like a lottery; if I win, it’s impossible for you to win.

The supernatural biological entities in the Mediterranean area certainly want to continue laying low, and they will surely build their own barriers to prevent the Dragon Kingdom’s fortune from sweeping over.

“Obstruction?”

The subordinate was about to ask further.

Just then.

A subordinate monitoring the base rushed over.

“Commander Tang, the long ming aircraft carrier has urgent intelligence to report.”

The long ming aircraft carrier?

Wasn’t the long ming aircraft carrier in the Somalia area?

It should be the aircraft carrier closest to the Mediterranean.

The subordinate was startled and looked at Commander Tang Ze. Could the obstruction have arrived already?

Commander Tang Ze smiled slightly and quickly followed his subordinate back to the base.

He connected the satellite communication.

[This is Commander Tang Ze!]

[Reporting to Commander Tang, our carrier strike group is heading from the Red Sea area toward the Mediterranean to execute a mission! But the Suez Canal has been blocked by an unidentified freighter, and there were... werewolf attacks during the night! Requesting support!]

[Received! Have your fleet retreat fifty miles and wait for support.]

Commander Tang Ze had already anticipated this, so he had sent the long ming aircraft carrier to the Mediterranean to test the waters.

Unexpectedly.

There really was an obstruction.

One could say this was a warning to the Dragon Kingdom from the supernatural biological entities in the Mediterranean area.

Attacking United States aircraft carriers is fine.

Occupying the Antarctic continent is fine.

Siphoning Western European talent and capital is all fine.

But trying to enter the Mediterranean is absolutely not allowed!

The Mediterranean is equivalent to the Dragon Kingdom’s dragon vein; it is a place of fortune.

The Polar Bear spent immense effort just to get an entrance into the Mediterranean; one could say that is the Polar Bear’s mouth of fortune.

[Calling Sister Li Qin Xueyao!]

[This is the Naval Department Base. This department orders your ship to lead the Chiyao Aircraft Carrier to patrol the Mediterranean.]

[Duration: Ten days.]

[Code Name: Period 9 Li Fire Fortune!]
