Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

152: Chapter 152 South American Influence, Top SixA warship disguised as a small fishing boat?

Rona’s heart skipped a beat when he heard this.

”Which country is it from?”

Rona could not read the Chinese characters, so he asked hurriedly.

It was not that he was afraid, but if it had been any other country, he, Rona, would have definitely fought back hard.

After all, he, Rona, had been a drug trafficker his whole life; why would he need to explain himself to anyone?

However, his subordinate spoke up: ”It is from China!”

”Damn it.”

”Retreat, quickly!”

Rona cursed under his breath and immediately gave the order to flee.

Although only one warship from China had appeared in the vicinity, he could not be sure if an aircraft carrier would appear to support it if the fight continued.

As Rona’s fleet turned around quickly, the small fishing boat remained relentless, pursuing and attacking fiercely.

Volleys of electromagnetic cannon fire hit the decks as if they did not cost a dime.

Not only did it blast huge holes in the decks, but the poppy piled up on them was also burned to a crisp.

Rona’s fleet fled without looking back toward a port in the waters near Mexico.

As the big drug lord of Mexico, he had plenty of his own people at the port; as long as he escaped back there, this kid, even if he was from China, would not dare to intrude easily.

”Hmm?”

”Trying to escape back to the port?”

Jiang Chen stopped wasting electromagnetic cannon fire.

With a movement of the Tiger Seal, a Horse Terracotta Warrior underwater raised its horse head and spat out a high-energy particle beam fifty centimeters in diameter.

Whoosh.

Like a laser, it accurately struck the propulsion cabin of Rona’s warship.

Boom.

The propulsion cabin exploded, the warship lost power, listed on the sea surface, and capsized.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.

Three consecutive high-energy particle beams struck, causing all three of Rona’s warships to lose power.

A large number of Rona’s subordinates fell into the sea, struggling desperately.

At the same time, massive amounts of poppy floated out from the cabins, scattering across the sea surface and being burned by the oil fires.

”That is quite a large quantity!”

Seeing the poppy scattered over half a nautical mile, Jiang Chen’s gaze turned cold.

Just as he was about to drive the small fishing boat over to crush these drug traffickers, several warships from Mexico suddenly sailed over.

Rona, who had been blown up and was missing limbs, had just floated out of the water when he saw the Mexican warships and was overjoyed.

These warships contained his own protective umbrella.

He hurriedly shouted urgently, ”Save me!”

”I am Rona!”

A warship sailed over.

The soldiers on the ship glanced at Rona and ordered people to drag him up.

Rona was overjoyed and pointed at the small fishing boat driven by Jiang Chen, saying, ”Quick! Hammer this kid to death! He put all our materials for getting rich into the sea!”

The captain arrived quickly. He looked at Rona, then at the poppy on the sea, and then at the Chinese warship that had arrived. He weighed his options.

Then he slapped Rona across the face.

”Men! Arrest this guy.”

”Transporting contraband and still daring to clamor.”

Soon, several burly men handcuffed Rona.

After a moment of shock, Rona realized that this guy was going to kill the donkey after the millstone was used, and he immediately cursed furiously: ”Damn you, give me back my money!”

”Take him away! Lock him up.”

The captain ignored him and gave his subordinates a look.

Amidst Rona’s furious curses, he was taken away.

At this time, Jiang Chen also arrived.

He sent a radio message: [I am the pearl river 888, a warship of the Chinese aircraft carrier strike group. According to global anti-drug regulations, fighting drug lords is everyone’s responsibility!]

After the Mexican warship received the radio message, it immediately replied: [Rest assured! We will definitely punish them severely.]

Jiang Chen: [I hope your side can do that, otherwise, if we catch you again... you warships will also have to be careful.]

Jiang Chen said indifferently, not hiding his threat at all.

These South American countries, as the backyard of the United States, had been plagued by poppies, evil forces, and interference from the United States for a long time, leading to the global spread of these poppies.

It could be said that this had everything to do with these protective umbrellas.

Of course, Jiang Chen could not just send them all to heaven with one electromagnetic cannon shot now; he could only use force to deter them.

The captain of the Mexican warship was also very sensible and hurriedly responded: [Yes, yes, yes! Our side is firmly against drugs and poppies!]

Seeing that the poppy was almost burned up, Jiang Chen drove the small fishing boat away.

The Mexican warship watched the pearl river 888 leave.

Some subordinates said with some dissatisfaction, ”Damn, this Chinese warship is too arrogant; it actually threatened us?”

”Should we go up and give him some trouble?”

Slap.

A slap came flying.

The captain of the Mexican warship retracted his hand and said, ”Are you crazy? This Chinese warship has run all the way to South American waters; the aircraft carrier strike group is likely in the nearby waters. You want to cause trouble? Do you want to die?”

The subordinate clutched his face, ”This is too arrogant...”

”What can we do? The United States’ aircraft carriers were mostly destroyed near Antarctica. Now they are overwhelmed. Except for the Atlantic and the Arctic, there are no more aircraft carrier strike groups here in South America.”

The captain of the Mexican warship was not an ordinary person. He knew a thing or two about the changes in the international landscape.

”Do you mean that China’s aircraft carriers are going to replace the influence of the United States on our side?” The subordinate realized.

The captain nodded, ”Yes, there were no Chinese warships appearing here before. Now it seems that China’s aircraft carriers are going to slowly release their influence in these waters.”

”Then can we also spend some money to get some protection?” A subordinate was unwilling to give up. Being a protective umbrella for these poppies brought in a lot of money.

If they paid China some protection money, could they continue this business?

However, the captain shook his head, ”No, China is different from the United States. They have suffered from the poison of this stuff; it’s not something that can be bypassed with money.”

”Then will the brothers be drinking northwest wind in the future?” The subordinate sighed.

The captain still shook his head, ”That’s not necessarily true. China is good at trade; perhaps we can do some sideline businesses. It doesn’t necessarily have to be poppies.”

”What kind of sideline business?”

”Raisins, kiwis, cherries...”

The captain replied.

Mexico is close to the equator and has a large temperature difference between day and night, which is conducive to the accumulation of sugar in fruits.

It was just because poppies were too profitable before that the land was all used to grow these illegal items.

Now, if these things could be suppressed, maybe other planting industries could be developed.

”From poppies to cherries... this drop is too big, and the class is too low, right?”

”Do you want your head or your class?”

When Mexico began to consider planting fruits, similar things also happened in South American countries like Peru and Chile.

A large number of cargo ships openly transporting poppies were directly destroyed by Jiang Chen.

Over time, these drug lords were all in danger.

It began to spread among the people that there was a Chinese sneaky operator disguised as a small fishing boat, appearing and disappearing in the waters west of South America, hiding in some unknown corner.

As long as he saw poppies, he would destroy them directly.

As Jiang Chen destroyed more and more, these big drug lords became angry.

Cutting off someone’s fortune is like killing their parents!

So, they decided to unite.

They prepared to stage an ambush on the top-tier sneaky operator by international drug lords in the nearby waters.
