Supreme Sword God

Chapter 207: Chapter 206: Stirring the Demonic Source

Previously, Hu Wenhui fell for the diversion tactic of a member of the Demon Race’s Royal Race, Motuo, which resulted in many casualties at the Cangxing Martial Arts Academy. To justify it to himself, he chose to enter the Demon Cave passage, claiming he would kill ten Mortal Transformation Realm demons!

Now, Hu Wenhui has been captured by the Demon Race and brought into the Demon Cave, where he’s certain to face the torture inflicted by the Demon Race.

Ye Chen discovered the group of demons escorting Hu Wenhui.

Likewise, the demons detected Ye Chen.

The leading member of the Demon Race’s Royal Race ordered a demon to fly towards Ye Chen.

”We serve His Highness Mosie. His Highness Mosie asks whose subordinate you are? Why are you here alone?” The demon, possessing Primordial Embryo Realm strength, floated in the air, staring at Ye Chen and shouted loudly in the Demon language.

”I serve His Highness Motuo. His Highness Motuo met with misfortune, and my squad is now scattered; only I retreated back to the Demon Cave alone,” Ye Chen replied.

He didn’t know the exact situation with the demons, so he had to brace himself and respond.

As for the Demon language, he had learned it while killing countless Celestial Demon remnants in the Sword Tomb.

”You’re a subordinate of His Highness Motuo? Come with me, His Highness Mosie is also deeply saddened by His Highness Motuo’s situation, and will treat His Highness Motuo’s subordinates well.”

Then.

Ye Chen followed the demon to confront the Mortal Transformation Realm demon, Mosie.

Mosie said, ”What’s your name?”

”Chen Ye.”

The demon Mosie acknowledged with a nod, saying, ”From today, you will follow me. I will treat you well.”

Ye Chen responded and then joined the demon’s group.

Within the group.

The demon who earlier inquired about Ye Chen’s background whispered, ”Chen Ye, I’m Kasha. Rest assured while following His Highness Mosie. Moreover, when we return to Demon City, find some warriors you know and have them pledge allegiance to His Highness Mosie. If you accomplish this, His Highness Mosie will surely reward you generously.”

Ye Chen’s eyes flickered, vaguely understanding something.

It seemed that after killing Motuo, the subordinates originally belonging to Motuo were being courted by the Demon Race’s Royal Race members.

No wonder this demon Mosie was in such a hurry to recruit him into his team.

”Kasha, I’m only at the Elemental Wheel Realm; my influence is limited and, what if I offend others...”

Before Ye Chen could finish.

The demon Kasha waved his hand, saying, ”Don’t worry, recruiting even one is worth it. You don’t have to fear offending His Highness Molan, His Highness Mosie will ensure your safety.”

Ye Chen extracted another name of an individual competing against Mosie for subordinates.

”I’ll do my best,” Ye Chen added, ”Kasha, why hasn’t this human been killed directly? He’s wearing Cangxing Martial Arts Academy clothes, and the one who killed His Highness Motuo is from Cangxing Martial Arts Academy. They all deserve to die!”

”Chen Ye, I know you want to avenge His Highness Motuo. No need to rush; this person holds a relatively high status among humans. Let’s see if we can extract some useful information from him,” Kasha said, then continued, ”Of course, if you’re eager to vent over His Highness Motuo’s issue, you can discipline him as you wish, just don’t kill him.”

”Really?”

”Yes, you can do it now, go.” Kasha said with a smile.

”Alright, I’m going!”

Ye Chen dashed to the iron cage, taking a black whip from a Demon Race warrior guarding the cage.

”You people from the Cangxing Martial Arts Academy, killed His Highness Motuo, who treated me with utmost kindness! Now that you’re in my hands, I’ll make you pay!”

As he spoke.

The black whip in his hand sliced through the gaps of the black cage, striking beside Hu Wenhui.

Hu Wenhui gritted his teeth, glaring fiercely at Ye Chen as if his eyes could spit fire!

Ye Chen struck the whip again, hitting beside Hu Wenhui.

He certainly couldn’t truly hit him, just to intimidate him.

”Hmph, looking at you, you probably can’t withstand two hits before dying. If it weren’t for His Highness Mosie needing to keep you alive, I’d beat you to death!”

Throughout, Hu Wenhui’s brow never furrowed, fixing a fierce gaze on Ye Chen.

Ye Chen felt worn out.

Instructor Hu.

Why do you still look at me with such an angry expression...

Haven’t you noticed anything...

I just used your Ripple Force!

Ye Chen was actually trying to convey some information to Hu Wenhui, so every time he swung the black whip, he’d use a bit of the Ripple Force technique, not too conspicuously, to avoid arousing the demons’ suspicion.

But even if subtly...after two strikes nearby, yet Hu Wenhui remained unresponsive...

”Still acting tough, huh? Staring at me? Do you really think I won’t dare to hit?” Ye Chen shouted, this time striking the whip on Hu Wenhui’s body.

”Instructor Hu, forgive me,” Ye Chen thought in his heart.

This lash landed on Hu Wenhui, leaving him stunned...

Ye Chen snorted.

”If I weren’t afraid of jeopardizing His Highness Mosie’s plan, I’d really want to whip you to death!” Saying this, he returned the whip to the Demon Race warrior guarding the cage and caught up with the demon Kasha ahead.

Inside the cage.

Hu Wenhui looked bewildered.

What’s the situation?

Was that Ripple Force just now?

How could demons know my Ripple Force?

Something’s not right!

Dean Ouyang said Ye Chen might have gone into the Demon Cave... Could this Chen Ye be Ye Chen?

Chen Ye...

Ye Chen...

Damn it!

Hu Wenhui was instantly shocked!

He was one hundred percent sure!

It must be Ye Chen.

Ye Chen deliberately lashed three times, this was to tell me his identity.

What is he trying to do?

He can even hide himself so well, even the Mortal Transformation Realm royal member of the Demon Race, Mosie, couldn’t detect him...why doesn’t he use this disguise to find a way to leave the Demon Lair?

He followed Mosie to the city built by the Demon Race inside the Demon Lair, could it be, he wants to rescue me?

Thinking of this.

Hu Wenhui was deeply worried!

Ye Chen has such a good disguise, it would actually be very easy for him to leave the Demon Lair.

But Ye Chen wants to rescue people, it’s as difficult as ascending to heaven...

”Damn Demons, if you have the guts, kill me. Don’t even think about getting any information about the Human Race from my mouth. Even if I die, I won’t implicate any person of our Human Race!”

Hu Wenhui shouted loudly!

Kasha turned his head and yelled angrily, ”Bastard, hit him for me!”

”Wait a moment.” Ye Chen quickly spoke up, ”This guy wants to die, maybe he knows a lot of secrets. He should be afraid that he can’t withstand our torture, so he wants to die quickly.

Such a person, his life is meaningful, we can’t beat him anymore, in case we really kill him, we might miss some important information!”

Kasha looked at Ye Chen with some surprise and said, ”Chen Ye, I didn’t expect you to have such a strong big-picture view. You’re right, the more he wants to die, the more we can’t let him die. He wants us to beat him to death, he must be guilty. Once we return to the Demon City, we must extract all the secrets he knows!”

Hu Wenhui’s eyes burned with anger, his power was sealed off, not even allowing him to end himself.

His words were actually telling Ye Chen, he didn’t want to involve Ye Chen.

And Ye Chen’s conversation with Kasha was actually also meant for Hu Wenhui, living is meaningful.

Ye Chen glared at Hu Wenhui, swearing, ”What are you looking at? Behave yourself!”

......

Not long after.

Ye Chen followed the Demon Race troop to a so-called town with a black-themed design.

This town was actually just a city wall, inside the wall, there were hardly any proper buildings, scattered everywhere.

His Highness Mosie of the Demon Race had other business to attend to and directly threw Hu Wenhui, cage and all, into a corner with some Demon Race warriors posted around him.

Ye Chen followed Kasha and said, ”His Highness Mosie’s power is strong, and he doesn’t seem injured. Why did he retreat from the battlefield?”

Kasha said, ”It’s the Demon Emperor’s order. A while ago, the magic source shook, so the Demon Emperor sent His Highness Mosie back to check out what’s going on.”

”I see, indeed, a while ago, there were very abnormal situations in the Demon Lair. I didn’t even dare to absorb Demonic Qi, fearing something might go wrong.”

Kasha said, ”Chen Ye, I have things to deal with too. If you have time, go contact the warriors you know and let them join His Highness Mosie’s side. His Highness Mosie won’t treat them badly.”

”Alright, I will. By the way, Kasha, how are we going to deal with this person?”

”Him? No need to worry about him for now. The cage has restrictions, he can’t get out, and he will become weaker inside. Once His Highness Mosie finishes with the magic source issue, he will interrogate him.”

”Okay, then I won’t disturb you to handle your matters.”

After Kasha left.

Ye Chen approached the iron cage.

Although there were Demon Race warriors guarding the vicinity, they were at a distance. They all knew their His Highness Mosie intended to use Chen Ye to recruit some forces, so they didn’t mind him approaching the iron cage.

Ye Chen stood by the iron cage, looking at Hu Wenhui.

He believed Hu Wenhui had already figured out his identity.

But Ye Chen did not converse with Hu Wenhui, nor did he use Spiritual Power to communicate.

This was the Demon City inside the Demon Lair, a single slip-up and they would be exposed!

”Brat, let me tell you, the Legendary Powerhouse of our Martial Arts Academy, Yang Tianji, will be back soon. Once he’s back, he’ll join our Martial Arts Academy’s Dean Ouyang, and the Dragon Guard’s Grand Commander Qin Hao, and attack. By then, they will surely smash this damned Demon Lair!”

Ye Chen’s eyes moved slightly.

Teacher is coming back soon?

This is good news!

”Stop shouting here, trying to provoke me to kill you? Do you think I’m stupid? His Highness Mosie wants to keep you alive for major affairs, I don’t have the guts to take your life.”

Throwing down these words, Ye Chen left.

He was a bit worried that Hu Wenhui’s acting wasn’t convincing.

At the same time.

In secret, Kasha stood in front of Mosie and said, ”His Highness Mosie, this Chen Ye, is he okay?”

Mosie nodded and said, ”You should check it out, see if there’s this guy among Motuo’s old subordinates.”

”Understood.”

After Kasha left.

Mosie entered the most strictly guarded palace in the Demon City, which most closely resembled a palace. He wanted to use some special methods to enter the interior of the magic source to inspect what was going on with the magic source.

Not long after.

Ye Chen saw a shadow faintly appear in the black ’sun’ in the sky.

Mosie?

It should be him.

”If I stir up a bit of commotion now, will this guy be scared to death?”

Ye Chen thought for a moment, then the Celestial Demon Qi in his body surged into his eyes.

Immediately after.

The magic source shook!

Mosie, who had just entered the magic source, was scared out of his wits and quickly fled for his life...
