Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 471: Chapter 188: This Is the Chrysanthemum Boss, I Might Not Be Able to Mess with Him_3

As a result, after Su Yue’s next words, Jia Weisu wished he could pin Su Yue to the ground and rub him right now.

You, a not-yet-20-year-old freshman, actually think about rubbing a Fifth Grade onto the ground. Why don’t you pluck the moon to play with instead?

If it were that easy for you to rub against the ground, my decades of training would have been a waste.

Poof!

Poof!

Poof!

Stuffing his face with three cans of meat, Su Yue was covered in grease.

Although the taste was so-so, it was still better than dry and bitter pills.

”Uncle Jia, any news on the exceptional battle techniques I asked you to look into?”

On the Martial Arts Network, there aren’t many exceptional battle techniques.

So, Su Yue entrusted Jia Weisu to help inquire about some speed and body technique battle arts.

He specifically requested exceptional battle techniques.

Common techniques can be practiced by everyone; they don’t highlight one’s unique style.

Moreover, Su Yue understood.

The reason why common techniques are widespread is because they are simple.

Simple techniques often aren’t very powerful or outstanding.

By level hierarchy, the strongest techniques are undoubtedly the unrivaled battle arts.

These can’t even be passed down.

Exceptional battle techniques come next; they require a Martial Artist to expend Qi Blood for single transmission, imposing high demands on both the transmitter and the receiver.

And exceptional techniques are flashy and boast strange abilities.

As for common battle techniques, they are the sums of generations of human Martial Artists’ experiences—most effective and straightforward, accessible to all for cultivation.

Su Yue did not look down on common battle techniques.

He merely found exceptional battle techniques more peculiar.

”I found one book, but its effects are rather bizarre, and I don’t really recommend you learn it.”

Jia Weisu frowned, unsure if he should say anything further.

”Uncle Jia, just say it. I dare to train in any battle technique.”

Seeing Jia Weisu’s hesitant expression, Su Yue impatiently said.

”To be honest, this technique is quite compatible with your specialty. It’s an augmenting battle technique, but not in the traditional sense of augmentation—it only augments yourself, ineffective on others.

”But... the augmenting condition is a bit unconventional.

”You know there’s a Baihui Acupoint on top of the head, right?”

Jia Weisu asked.

”Yes, I know.”

This is basic common knowledge. The Baihui Acupoint is an important transit point when circulating Qi rings.

”Uncle Jia, does this technique require training the Baihui Acupoint? I won’t end up turning into a fool, would I?”

Su Yue then asked in surprise.

If it affects the brain, better not practice it. Don’t want to end up being an idiot.

”Not at all, the Baihui Acupoint is just a point, with no direct connection to the brain region. It’s merely a transit station for the Qi ring.

”And it has nothing to do with your own Baihui Acupoint...”

Jia Weisu continued.

”If it’s not related to the Baihui Acupoint, why bring it up? Gave me a scare.”

Su Yue already gobbled down a big pig knuckle.

”This technique is called Baihui Step.

”You need to run on others’ heads, using the battle technique’s Qi whirl under your feet to absorb Qi Blood from others’ Baihui Acupoints.

”Once you’ve stepped on 20 Baihui Acupoints with Qi Blood, for a while after that, no matter what type of footwork battle technique you use, it will augment your speed by 20%.

”Didn’t you train in speed augmentation?

”This can be stacked.

”If you’ve stepped on 20 heads with Baihui Step and then use a speed-support battle technique, you can gain 40% speed. Then using this 40% extra speed, when you perform the Little Lingbo Step, you become a ghostly shadow—I reckon no one below Third Grade can touch the hem of your clothes.”

Jia Weisu briefly introduced Baihui Step.

Su Yue was somewhat astounded.

Stepping on others’ heads, using the Qi whirl underfoot to absorb Qi Blood from others’ Baihui Acupoints to achieve a 20% speed increase.

It sounds rather dangerous.

”Uncle Jia, can’t we step on other places? Like on people’s feet or something.”

Su Yue pondered and asked.

Stepping on someone’s foot could still warrant an apology.

Stepping on a head leaves no room for explanation.

”Baihui Step... as the name implies, you have to step on the Baihui Acupoint.”

Jia Weisu shook his head, rejecting Su Yue’s idea.

”Will it leave others with brain damage or something?”

Su Yue asked again.

”No, just a bit of mild pain, similar to snapping your fingers against someone’s forehead.

”When you perform Baihui Step, your body is actually in a floating state, so your body weight doesn’t press on the head you’re stepping on.

”Of course, there will still be some tingling in the Baihui Acupoint, but no side effects.

”Also, there will be a shockwave waking up, and if the one being stepped on has a lot of dandruff, it will scatter.

”The stepped-on mostly endures some psychological humiliation.”

Jia Weisu further explained.

”Can we step on other races and beasts? Any rank requirements?”

Su Yue asked again.

”Sure, don’t say other races, even fierce beasts can be stepped on.

”The Baihui Acupoint is a general term representing the peak of Qi Blood, not exclusive to humans. So even fierce beasts have Baihui Acupoints.

”There are no rank requirements; you can step on a First Grade. If you’re daring, try it on Ninth Grade.”

Jia Weisu said.

”I’ll learn it... how many credits do I need?”

Su Yue thought it over, deciding to learn it under the philosophy of having more skills never being a burden.

But if it’s too expensive, he’d have to think about it.

There’s no way around it.

This technique really begs for a beating.

Relying on stepping on others’ heads to increase speed feels a bit annoying.

Su Yue recalled many martial arts films from the Ancient Era wherein many martial arts masters seemed to enjoy stepping on others’ heads and causing chaos in the streets.
