Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 456: Chapter 184: Too Many Silly Netizens_3

”Although the final round is still a face-off between the four major Martial Arts Academies and the Warring States Military Academy, the national Wuda will participate in the assessment. If West Martial gets drawn against A-class or B-class Wuda, the backup can come into play.”

”Don’t underestimate the A-class Wuda. Some of their third-year students are very strong, especially the top-ranked A-Wuda, which often has dark horses emerging.”

Suddenly, Mu Cheng asked.

”This... really not confident.”

Su Yue shook his head with a wry smile.

He was suppressing his Qi Halo, and training would become very, very slow later on.

Even if he could obtain around a million scholarship credits this time, the time should be insufficient.

After all, there is only one month.

”No rush for Su Yue.

”He’s only a freshman this year, and excluding this year, he has three more years. Assuming he breaks through to the fifth rank by senior year, he still has two years to participate in the battle team.”

”Moreover, those A-class Wuda students are like madmen. For the resources from the Education Department, they would do anything to drag down the four major Martial Arts Academies. Last year, a Nanwu student was injured and is still in the hospital today.”

”Su Yue is only a freshman, so he should avoid taking risks.”

Bai Xiaolong shook his head, frowning.

”That’s true, considering he’s just a freshman.”

Mu Cheng nodded.

”By the way, Su Yue, you can choose not to sign up, but during the finals, you must attend. Don’t skip class again.”

Mu Cheng looked at Su Yue with vigilance.

This guy, just a freshman, had already become famous for skipping classes.

”Don’t worry, I’ll definitely go. I want to see what the overall level of our Wuda students is like.”

Su Yue smiled.

Although he was quite capable, he wasn’t arrogant to the point of recklessness.

He had relied on the system to outwit other ethnic groups during several ventures into the Wet Realm; he hadn’t experienced much real combat.

In terms of the real knife-to-gun experience that third and fourth-year Martial Artists had, he was still somewhat lacking.

Some shortcomings need to be acknowledged, and pride should be avoided.

The Wuda finals exam involves inter-school confrontation on one hand.

On the other hand, there is an internal assessment of Qi Blood values, but aside from some B-class Wuda students, exams like these are generally passable, making the inter-school confrontation the main highlight of the finals.

”Yes, come to school tomorrow. Bai Xiaolong will step down from his position as Student Council President. Since you are coming, I will help you with joining.”

Mu Cheng explained again.

”Sigh, one comes, one leaves.

”I still have six months until graduation, but I feel quite sad, as if West Martial has abandoned me.”

Bai Xiaolong suddenly lamented.

As the saying goes, people leave and tea gets cold; being sidelined from a good position for no apparent reason.

”Enough with the nonsense.

”Now the principal sees you as a treasure; you’ve already become a symbol for West Martial and even the whole Wuda.”

”Even if West Martial comes last this time, they will receive the honorary first title, and the Education Department resources will be awarded as if they won first place.”

”You’ve secured the crowning safe title for West Martial.”

Mu Cheng chuckled coldly.

This guy, getting the benefits and grumbling.

First semester senior year, fifth rank.

Meng Yang used to be the number one at Wuda, maybe he’s already self-isolated now.

Now being at fourth rank, by this time next year, can I break through to fifth rank?

To be honest, not very confident, if I can break through before graduation, it’s a blessing.

Bai Xiaolong may act brainless sometimes, but his prowess is indeed obvious.

”Haha, come to think of it, is the inter-school match exciting?”

Su Yue curiously asked, not knowing how it differed from the combat matches, being quite intrigued.

”Especially exciting.

”Strange folks will join, showing countless flashy fighting methods.”

”The inter-school match is purely one-on-one combat. Both parties have three participants, whoever loses all three, loses.”

”Various Wuda have gone to great lengths to cultivate the students’ solo combat abilities, employing unconventional fighting methods that you wouldn’t even imagine — ever seen someone use gas as a weapon?”

”Of course, you don’t need to worry about these; most of these methods are almost useless in the Wet Realm, mainly designed for the exam.”

”Being down-to-earth, the Wet Realm is the key to greatness.”

Bai Xiaolong reminisced about his years participating in the inter-school matches, quite nostalgic.

”Uh... this really sounds like a battle with an aroma.”

Su Yue sighed.

In such contests, better to keep your distance, avoid unnecessary risks.

Besides, apart from some credit rewards and pill rewards, there isn’t much else, let alone dreaming about the Military Department’s medals.

...

I’ll write ten thousand words today; it’s a transitional Chapter. The author doesn’t want to add unnecessary content.”

Just perfect the outline and jump straight into the plot.

I write a lot each day, so the outline progresses too fast; got to think it over.”
