Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 650: Danger! The Enemy Takes action

Nikolai sat beside Lunaria and Sarah, both women clung to his arms, occasionally peeking at each other with various expressions.

Luna’s eyes slipped towards Sarah, grinning at her. To achieve this position despite being a mere squire was impressive in her eyes. While being watched, Sarah also studied her rival with a fake smile. A woman who went from being an enemy to Nikolai’s wife. What an accomplishment!

’I can feel them clashing in silence!’

Despite their attempts to hide it, an array of colours revealing their current emotional states assaulted Nikola.

But he couldn’t afford to show it.

Sat opposite him were Vladik, Verna and Verda, each staring at him with two other women at his side. Though they knew about his wives, seeing them so soon after Zara’s fake death was probably alarming to them.

’No, this is a meeting about the Bomb that Franz took!’

Or so he deluded himself.

”Brother-in-law... these women are?” Verna’s brows trembled as she asked in a voice laced with aggression.

”This is Lunaria, my childhood friend and wife, and this is Sarah, my newest bride.”

”Brother—aaah!” Vladik’s eyes widened as he stopped speaking mid-sentence, suddenly holding his mouth with a pale face.

Nikolai lowered his gaze to see Verna’s hand grasping Vladik.

’She’s pinching his waist...’

”Alright, stop threatening the poor lad. Didn’t we all know the truth from the moment he came here with Zara?” Verda didn’t see an issue, though the Djinn preferred monogamy. Maybe it was the time she’d spent fighting with other races, seeing countless forms of love.

”I know, but what about Zara? Isn’t she pitiful?”

”Ahem... to be honest. He’s a stud, you don’t need to worry.” Verda glared at Nikolai, then shook her head.

”W-What do you mean?” Verna’s eyes peeked through her fingers.

”Ah...” Verda glanced at Nikolai, hoping for support, but he chuckled, shrugging as he winked at her.

’After you grabbed it in our duel, you want me to help? Forget it!’

The fierce woman who led the Shadow Guards tried to defeat him every morning as part of their training. Today, she happened to grab his cock. But immediately froze and pulled away, allowing him to beat her down.

”Well?” Verna pushed the subject, her eyes darting between the two of them.

Verda frowned at Nikolai and turned away with a huff. ”His cock is huge, and he’s really good in bed.”

”Eh?”

Vladik finally reacted, looking at his aunt with a shocked expression, while Verna cocked her head to the side, ”How big? I thought Vladik was huge... so, let’s compare?” The woman’s brain was disturbed like Nikolai’s wives!

’Damn, is there no normal woman beside me? Anya, Kumiko... Leona, I miss you.’

”Fuck, that’s not even normal!” Verna spouted her tea as she looked at Verda’s fingers showing the size and shape. ”How is my sister still able to walk?! No... is that why she didn’t appear for two days after coming here?!”

The queen nodded to herself before patting Vladik’s thigh. ”Honey, I love you so much, please remain the same size forever!” That’s when she paused and turned to Verda and asked. ”How do you know the size when erect?”

She could accept knowing the flaccid size from the accident she spoke about. However, that didn’t tell her the size and shape of his full-powered form.

Her Aunt-in-law’s cheeks immediately turned bright red as she tried to avert her gaze.

”Tell me, this is an order as your queen!”

”You!?” Verda gasped.

It turned out in the morning, while Nikolai was being served by two beautiful mouths, Verda entered the room and got a creamy facial surprise.

The women became friendlier with each other after a short time had passed, likely due to the subject at hand. Meanwhile, Vladik now sat beside Nikolai, as the men were isolated from their little zone.

Nikolai leaned back and ignored them.

Vladik, however, glanced at Nikolai’s crotch for a moment before shaking his head.

She gave Nikolai a begrudging glare before recovering. ”Now then, shall we decide how to move forward?”

”That’s good.”

”How are the reports from the other shadow guards? Where did the Balthazarians stay? How many troops remain in the capital?”

Nikolai’s questions brought a smile to Verna’s lips as she lifted a large pile of documents and tossed them across the table. ”The reports are detailed, but accurate. The Balthazarians stayed in a number of hotels, keeping their forces separated to avoid doubts. As for the remnants, they’ve all left apart from a single district.”

Vladik chimed in. ”Which district?”

The answer would give them a large clue to the plans.

However, this is where Verna and Verda’s faces both soured; they looked at each other, then nodded. ”The worst possible district... The military district.”

”How the heck did they end up there?!” Vladik roared, knowing he specifically ordered the warriors to stop this from happening. ”Punish all warriors who are responsible, take their heads right now!”

”C-Calm down, honey, it’s because they snuck inside!” Verna tried to soothe her husband, but it was quite difficult.

”Brother, wait!”

PAH!

Nikolai slapped Vladik’s cheek, snapping his head to the side and leaving a huge palm print across his face.

”YOU?!” Vladik pointed at Nikolai, before he froze and glanced around the room. When he noticed the situation, a calm flicker returned to his eyes, and he smiled wryly while holding the swelling mark. ”Thanks.”

”Then, it’s highly unlikely the bomb is there.” Nikolai asserted.

”Why do you say that?”

”Verda, do the Balthazar clan or those who follow Shamash hold that kind of self-destructive desire?”

”N-No, it’s the biggest disgrace... Oh!”

Suddenly, she wiped several of the pins from the large map on the table. ”Hey, Number Two.” Then, beckoning to the Shadow Guards who stood near the windows, she pointed to several points in the other districts. ”Send people to check these places for traces of remnants or bomb creation.”

”Did you realise something?” Verna asked curiously.

”Yes, thanks to Nikolai’s words. We noticed traces of a strange chemical smell when conducting our raids on their bases. At first, it slipped my mind, but knowing they might use a bomb, things became more obvious.” Verda glanced at the map, then back to Nikolai and cleared her throat. ”I think there might be multiple bombs.”

’...Yeah. I thought as much.’

Nikolai had dealt with Nosferatu, so since they became involved, he didn’t limit his mind. If something sounded impossible, then he considered it possible.

”What should I do?” Vladik stood from his seat and slammed both hands against the table, glaring at the map with a pale face.

Meanwhile, Nikolai focused on the map, putting together his thoughts.

”We should wait for the report, but getting civilians out of these districts is best for now, though they probably wish to strike the palace. I don’t think they have the means to invade deeply, and could be planning to use the chaos from the explosions to invade the library.”

”Tsk! Damned cowards.”

”Verda, how many shadow guardians can you manage?” Verna asked while standing from her seat, tapping the table.

”Around two hundred at most, with half being recruits.”

”I see.” She paused before turning to Vladik, ”My king, will you allow me to make my own movements during this dangerous event?”

”Wife...”

He seemed reluctant, but after a few seconds, he nodded.

”Don’t do anything stupid.”

”Verda, send fifty of the most skilled to help blend in with the people, spread rumours and have them gather in the military wing. As for the rookies, I assume they’ve trained in acting and disguise... Have them dress like our Royal warriors.”

”Oh?” Nikolai’s lips curled upward, hearing her words. ”Are you planning to trick them?”

”Of course, we must catch the dogs who dared deal with explosives and threatened the people of Al’Qutar like cowards!”

Nikolai nodded and approached his wives. ”Then you can have the help of my thralls. Luna, Sarah, can you help her?” He cuddled both of them, kissing their hair, before he pulled away and pointed to the map.

”Once you’ve set everything up,” his finger slid to the military district. ”I will go there and wipe them out to avoid any danger to our people.”

”Eh?”

”Ah... brother-in-law.”

Vladik and Verna both looked at him with strange expressions.

”What?”

”You called them, ’our’ people.” Verda followed up, patting Nikolai’s back with a fierce grin.

”Of course? I’m still going to marry Zara; she’s not really dead.” Suddenly, their faces all froze, especially Verna and Verda, who looked as if they had just heard the most ridiculous thing ever. That’s why he couldn’t help but ask. ”Surely you haven’t all forgotten, right?”

Only silence remained.

After the meeting, Nikolai started his own preparations. He held out his hand, letting various items from his ring drop onto the bed.

His custom Desert Eagles, a set of defensive underarmour and three bodysuits with the Volkov emblem on the chest.

”Whoa, that’s so sexy,” Sarah muttered as she lifted the latex suit, glancing at Nikolai’s crotch then at Lunaria’s chest. ”Can they stretch that far?”

”Stop being stupid, strip and wear the bra and thong provided. This will be as close to your skin as possible.” Nikolai unfastened each button of his shirt, then tossed them to the side, standing naked in less than a second and grabbed the suit.

”Mm, what a great sight.”

Lunaria, a seasoned woman, just sat on the window ledge where Sarah lost her virginity a few nights before, while slowly removing her kimono. ”Prepare yourself, Sarah. The job you did as a squire cannot be compared to that of his wife.”

”Yes, Sister Luna!”

Nikolai zipped himself into the suit, throwing on a tactical jacket while watching the two women strip themselves.

’When did they become so close?’
