Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 648: There’s a Bomb!

”You rat bastard...”

Nikolai bit the tip of his tongue to avoid exploding in R-Dialect—a violent aura gathered inside his abdomen with each foul word that left Marduke’s filthy mouth. When he insulted Zara and Lunaria with his accusations, it was over.

”How dare you deceive our nation, an outside power here to usurp the throne!”

The surroundings instantly became noisy.

Some Djinn who’d patted his shoulders or given him a smile and nod suddenly frowned, gave him dirty looks as they gathered.

’Hypocrites love to gather in places of power.’

But Nikolai wasn’t that young rookie caught in headlights anymore.

After becoming the Patriarch of the Volkov clan, he could barely count the number of these pathetic leeches who crossed him.

He stepped forward, protecting Lunaria from the gazes of others, before cracking his neck from side to side and approaching Marduk.

Step by step.

Growing inch by inch.

Then stopped.

Sleek black fur, silky and pure black.

Eye like the moon, ever watching and observing.

Nikolai stood at roughly three metres tall, overlooking the blue Djinn after entering his werewolf state.

”How do you want to die, scum?”

”W-What’re you talking about, you damn savage?!”

Faced with the terrifying true form of a werewolf.

Many women stepped back, trembling, while the odd few peeked at the inhuman bulge packed into his tight pants.

The men reacted similarly, rushing to the doors, standing frozen in place as the smaller Ishtari clan, this massive beast, triggered a genetic fear built into their bloodlines from the great monster war.

”Savage, you’ve called me that twice now. You also called me filthy, dirty... a dog. What else are you going to call me, Marduke?”

”This is an invasion, you’re breaking the pact between all supernatural races!”

”Oh, Marduke, as someone conspiring with Nosferatu, do you truly think that kind of pathetic stalling tactic will work?”

Nikolai lifted his chin and howled.

His sharp teeth peeked from his lupine maw.

”Lunaria, crush them.”

”Yes, Patriarch!”

There was no question; her muscles instantly bulged, her white hair grew longer as fluffy ears, and a tail appeared from the holes in her dress. She released a harsh growl as a pair of sharp, curved claws extended from her fingertips.

”You look so beautiful, like a snow sculpture in the midst of a golden desert.”

Unlike Nikolai’s full transformation, Lunaria remained mostly humanoid; her pale arms lacked fur, while the hair on her head messily grew to her ankles. Sharp fangs grew in her mouth, but she retained a human-like head and face, instead of Nikolai’s lupine one.

He watched her leap in the air, swiftly landing by the double doors facing dozens of Balthazarin warriors who rushed in.

Nikolai turned away as she tore a man in half from the crotch up.

”I want a reward later, darling~”

Her charming voice carried no similarity to her current violent massacre.

”Now then, where were we. Djinn.”

Nikolai’s claw gripped Marduke in place from the moment he turned to admire his wife’s transformation. However, he envied her stretchy and self-adjusting clothing, which hadn’t been offered to him yet.

”Can’t we talk about this? We’re as good as family, right? You were going to marry my niece Zara, right?!”

The nervous words connected, forming chains of truth mixed with lies, but Nikolai shook his head, ’Ah, I can’t kill him. This scum isn’t my prey, but her’s...’ He closed his eyes, with the sound of flesh being torn behind him as his wife called his name under her breath.

’She’s normally so calm and gentle...’

Nikolai’s fur glistened with shards of ice as the temperature plummeted from each slash Lunaria made with her glistening blue claws made of ice.

Meanwhile, his sank into Marduke’s shoulder, tearing the same spot from before.

”Gyaaaa!”

Marduke flailed helplessly while trapped in a massive werewolf claw bigger than his head. He gripped Nikolai’s wrists with both hands, blood pouring down his chest.

Nikolai curled his lips and clamped down.

”You’re actually quite weak, to think I worried about fighting you.”

’Thanks to Zara and Sarah, I’ve grown stronger once again... thank you, my dear wives.’

The sex with Zara granted him the ability to share and borrow her Soul Force. Even now, a portion of her powers lingered inside his black heart, gently floating in a serene whirl, helping the black blood flow faster and more efficiently.

While Sarah’s unique power lacked flair, it allowed him to keep calm; her willpower wasn’t normal, but who would notice something like that?

Her ability practically gave him dominance over his blood frenzy, blood lust and rage when transformed, though it came with the downside of boosting his libido.

Crack!

”Ngyaaaaaaa!”

Nikolai caught Vladik’s eyes staring at him, full of shock as he lifted Marduke off the floor, letting his right shoulder and body separate.

”Where is Doctor Franz Now, Huh?”

”Y-You... foolish.... DOG! Ptuuuh!”

”Disgusting!”

Nikolai wrapped around Marduke’s back to avoid his spit. In anger, he grabbed his head and smashed his face-first into the wall.

Thud!

The first blow shattered half his teeth and broke his nose.

Thud!

The second blow cracked his forehead and orbital bones, which disfigured the Djinn’s face into complete collapse.

”How is it now, do you dare insult my wives?!”

Bang!

”WHO IS A SLUT?!”

BANG!

”Dog, what dog, you fucking lizard!”

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!

Despite Sarah’s ability, the overwhelming rage exploded from within with a scorching thud as his three hearts pounded relentlessly against his ribcage.

”Honey!”

A soft, soothing voice shouted to him.

But he didn’t stop!

Blood oozed from Nikolai’s eyes as he continued to grind the flesh of Marduke down against a shattered piece of rough stone with a disgusting sound.

Footsteps tapped behind him, the weight and scent familiar, so he didn’t react.

She wrapped both arms around his chest, pulling on him gently.

”Honey, it’s me, Luna... please calm down.”

Nikolai’s black eyes slowly regained their purple hue as he tossed the near-death Marduke to the ground and held the delicate palms holding him.

’Ugh... it seems Sarah’s power is a double-edged sword.’

”Sorry, it seems the powers of Sarah also multiply intense emotions... that might be the true nature of my increased libido.”

”Hmmm~ who cares, none of us would complain about more sex.”

Lunaria cuddled Nikolai from behind, rubbing her cheeks against his back.

The sensation stimulated but also calmed the raging blood within Nikolai, who gradually shrank back to his normal form.

Nikolai finally turned to see her pretty face was flushed bright red, her eyes avoiding his as she tried to pull away. He could only curl his lips into a devilish grin and pull her into his arms, no longer needing to hide it.

”You girls will be the death of me.”

”Fufu, oh my, that sounds terrible, but why are you poking me so much then?”

”Don’t tempt me, you flirtatious harlot, I might just pull down your pants and spank you.”

”Right here?!”

Luna pressed both hands on her cheeks before snorting.

”You’d never let another man see our skin, don’t think we haven’t noticed your possessive side is extremely strong~ my~dear~husband.”

”Tsk...”

”Guha.... why, how can you be so strong?!” Marduke’s bloodline wasn’t weak, even after being shredded and abused by Nikolai; his face started regenerating.

’No, that’s not normal...’

Nikolai spotted small green veins and the slight stench of decay whenever his flesh knitted together. It wasn’t the scent of a Djinn, but the same foul stench of corpses created through Nosferatu necromancy.

”Luna, hold him down, we need to find out what the hell he’s done to his body!”

”Heh heh... after all, you’re obsessed with them, the doctor was right.”

”What’re you talking about?!” Luna growled, her foot stomping on Marduke’s chest to keep him locked against the half-destroyed wall.

”Wouldn’t you like to know, dirty whore.”

BANG!

Nikolai swung his leg like a whip, sending the lower part of Marduke’s jaw flying across the room, as he groaned in agony with a flailing tongue. He yanked the Djinn’s hair and stared into his eyes from point-blank range.

”I warned you once.”

He lifted his right hand and smashed it into Marduke’s face, over and over.

”Do” Slap! ”Not” Slap! ”Insult” Slap! ”My” Slap! ”Women!”

Marduke collapsed to the ground without teeth, his lower jaw or his right eye, which ruptured and popped during the last slap.

”Phew, now speak about what you know.”

After this, he began to follow the guidelines in his father’s book for interrogating spies and monsters that sneak into the Volkov Clan and betray them.

The end sight was gruesome enough that he almost pitied Marduke.

Lunaria sat on a table, her legs crossed as she bit and dragged her lips, watching Nikolai’s violent interrogation of the Djinn.

”Why is he so hot when being so brutal and aggressive... am I a broken bitch?”

Nikolai, however, leaned against a marble pillar, his hand holding a smoking pike, his lips parting with a puff of smoke.

”Haa... Damn it.”

”Honey, everything will be fine.”

Luna slipped off the table, walking with a strange gait as if trying to avoid letting her thighs and legs press together.

”Have you forgotten who is protecting our home? Do you think Alexei, Ryan, Bruce or Vernan will let those gates fall?”

”I know.”

He sniffed the air, then glanced at Lunaria’s crotch while shaking his head. ”We should head back to the hotel and leave Vladik to deal with this thing.” Lunaria’s cheeks burned bright red as she followed his gaze and made a knowing comment.

”Mhm...”

Nikolai forcibly pushed down the sticky lust growing inside him and metaphorically poured iced water over his head.

Then he considered the real issue they discovered.

’The issue is there’s a bomb somewhere... and Doctor Franz has already fled.’
