589: Chapter 2: ‘Main God’ Project 589: Chapter 2: ‘Main God’ Project Knock on the door. “Come in,” Luo Qiu responded from within the study.

Only You Ye entered with a smile, while Tai Yinzi followed her with a slightly nervous demeanor, holding a laptop notebook in his hands. “Master, Tai Yinzi has some results he wants to show you,” the maid Ms.

Ren spoke directly beside the boss’s chair, bowing her head. “Oh?” Luo Qiu nodded with interest, then looked at Tai Yinzi and waved his hand, “Sit down.” “No, no, I can stand!” Tai Yinzi straightened his back quickly, stealthily glanced at Ms.

Ren, and then quickly said, “Actually, this time it was thanks to Ms.

You Ye’s help.

If it weren’t for her abundant knowledge, my idea might not have been realized, so the greatest credit goes to Ms.

You Ye!”

Luo Qiu looked curiously at You Ye.

Ms.

Ren said reservedly, “I just provided some technical possibilities; it’s actually nothing much.

But this time, Tai Yinzi’s idea does seem quite interesting.” “When even you say so…” Luo Qiu smiled, “Tai Yinzi, then let me see your results.”

Tai Yinzi hurriedly in front of the boss, as if injected with adrenaline, quickly opened the laptop, turned the screen to Luo Qiu, cleared his throat, and said, “Master, I recently studied the modern people’s lifestyle and entertainment, and got inspired by the thoughts of a profession called writers among modern people!

I named this plan ‘Main God’!”

Isn’t this the infinite stream…

I used to read novels during my childhood…

The boss silently glanced at Tai Yinzi.

But forget it… after all, he’s a Taoist from five hundred years ago; reaching this level is quite good. “And then?”

Tai Yinzi solemnly said, “Master!

I feel we need a grand package!

If we want our products to sell well, we need packaging and promotion!

Only by expanding our reputation can we attract more customers!”

Seeing Luo Qiu showing no reaction, neither impatience nor intent to stop listening, Tai Yinzi gathered courage. “Master!

I feel our club’s method of promotion has been too outdated!

A Black soul envoy in essence is just a salesman, although this can precisely ensure the accuracy of transactions, isn’t this efficiency too slow?

So I believe we need to expand new channels!” “So, this ‘Main God’ is your so-called packaging and promotion?” Luo Qiu squinted his eyes.

Tai Yinzi nodded heavily, “Master, we shouldn’t underestimate modern people’s acceptance ability.

In this era of imagination and development explosion, we can actually establish contact between us and customers through a more straightforward and rough approach!”

Luo Qiu suddenly glanced at You Ye, showing growing interest, shifted his sitting posture, and reached out to fiddle with Tai Yinzi’s laptop.

At this moment, Tai Yinzi’s body almost pasted to the desk, bending down, “Master, look, in today’s era, humans almost cannot do without the Internet.

From eighty years old to three-year-old children, they can all access the vast Internet… this is our best channel!” “This screen is actually modified from ten white cards, and the processor inside is equipped with a CPU modified by eight black cards… of course, these technologies owe a lot to Ms.

You Ye.

I estimate that I couldn’t make it even in hundreds of years!

This modified laptop can simultaneously face eight customers, currently supporting eight-thread operations.

If mass-produced for use by the Black soul envoy, they can find a large number of customers without leaving their homes, using the power of Black Soul as the starting force through the Internet connection!”

Luo Qiu heard this and curiously asked, “Through this mode, wouldn’t the Black Soul power weaken to a certain extent?”

Tai Yinzi proudly said, “Master, this issue I have seriously considered!

You see, although the Black Soul power becomes scattered and may weaken to optional strength due to continuous extension.

But precisely because of this, doesn’t it prove those customers found have the most urgent need?

The stronger the demand, the more it can attract us!

If in optional strength it can also attract Black Soul power… it means this customer is a very high-quality customer!”

Of course, considering the boss’s quirk, Tai Yinzi ultimately made such considerations… clearly, ordinary customers are not much cared about by the boss, so in the premise of unclear boss intentions, this multithread operation can more efficiently select—which Tai Yinzi dared not say out loud. “Hmm… sounds indeed interesting,” Luo Qiu nodded, suddenly asked, “Have you already tested it?”

Tai Yinzi hurriedly said, “Master, I have already sent out a hundred random invitations through this system!

And one has received feedback!” “Oh… so fast,” Boss Luo nodded.

At this moment, You Ye smiled slightly and said, “Master, after receiving the first feedback, Tai Yinzi couldn’t wait to report to you.

Originally, it should be more appropriate to negotiate before doing so.” “No worries,” Luo Qiu smiled, “but letting a guest wait too long… is not good.

Hmm, online chat transaction… that would be an e-signature, right?

Interesting, let me handle this first order.”

The boss placed both hands on the keyboard. … …

After clicking “YES” on the screen, nothing happened.

Lanxiu frowned again… leaving the computer in this frozen state is not good.

He waited for a while more… somehow expecting and strangely willing to wait.

Not knowing what he was expecting.

Lanxiu chuckled self-deprecatingly, shook his head, just about to unplug the network and power… the screen finally changed.

Message: Sorry for the wait, guest. “Online?”

Lanxiu was momentarily surprised, after thinking for a while, typed on the keyboard: Who are you?

Why hack into my computer?

Infinite stream?

What nonsense!

Boring!

Message: Hmm… then how about this?

Following the appearance of this text, Lanxiu’s face changed from surprise to horror… because he clearly saw the computer’s network cable automatically unplug itself, even the power cable automatically unplugged… the two cable ends at this moment seemed to have life, suspended in the air—yet the computer was still running!

Lanxiu’s heart skipped a beat fiercely.

He steadied himself, fingers weakly tapping the keyboard several times before finally managing to type out what he wanted to say: Are you really the Main God?

Text: Consider it the name of this system.

Lanxiu: System flow?

Text: In a sense.

Lanxiu swallowed: What’s next?

Main God World’s expansion?

Task release?

Text: No, this is just a trading platform.

Lanxiu frowned: So it’s an exchange system?

What can I buy?

Text: What’s important is what you, the customer, want.

Lanxiu thought for a moment: So, that means, I make a request, and you offer a price?

As long as I can afford it, I can buy anything?

Text: It was already mentioned at the start, customer.

Also, money doesn’t count.

Lanxiu: Everything precious to me… but with this kind of eerie power, it seems understandable.

I think I get what this transaction model is about.

Text: So, customer, what would you like to buy?

Lanxiu was silent for a while, then silently typed out what he wanted on the screen: I don’t want to stay in this world anymore; let me enter the game and become a character in it!

Text: Which game?

Lanxiu: Emerald Fantasy.

Text: I see, you’re looking to explore an alternate game world, correct?

But unfortunately, that kind of cost, I’m afraid, is beyond your means.

However, if you simply want to enter this game’s world, it’s not a problem.

Lanxiu: Be specific!

Text: By abandoning your current body, your soul will enter the game and become a character in it.

Of course, you will have everything that character has, indistinguishable from reality.

However, all limitations for players in the game will also apply to you.

Additionally, when you die more than three times, your soul will detach and return to us.

Lanxiu: Three times…

Deal!

Text: Then, enjoy your game. … …

After simply pressing the enter key, Luo Qiu’s hands left the keyboard.

At this moment, Tai Yinzi was watching his master eagerly, awaiting his master’s experience result.

But the boss hadn’t spoken for a long time.

Tai Yinzi hesitated, “Master… this system?” “Hmm…” Luo Qiu thought for a while, “Not bad, to a certain extent, it’s quite similar to the function of the Border Gate.

There’s even a suspicion of overlap.”

Even though he said that, Boss Luo hadn’t activated even one door yet… the doors still remained quietly shut there—this was only his personal consideration.

But this did not prevent him and Tai Yinzi from discussing this plan with enthusiasm. “Then…” Tai Yinzi showed a disappointed look immediately. “However…” Luo Qiu suddenly smiled and said, “If it’s targeted marketing as a certain product, the effect should be quite good.” “Master, you mean…” Tai Yinzi asked, puzzled.

Luo Qiu said, “There should be many people like Lanxiu who yearn for the game world more than the real world, right?

I always maintain such a minimal transaction volume, which isn’t ideal… consider it an investment, finding a long-term and stable source of income doesn’t seem bad.”

If one has a long-term stable source of income on the side while also continuing daily interests without interference, it’s all to the good for Boss Luo.

Businessman businessman… who doesn’t have several different investment projects? “The master is wise!” Tai Yinzi promptly said.

Boss Luo, not knowing what he was thinking, suddenly said, “You Ye, next, please assist Tai Yinzi to perfect this ‘Main God.’

The maid, Ms.

You Ye, smiled slightly and said, “Master, to not affect daily service, may I call Adam over to oversee the subsequent development?

Of course, I will continue to follow up.” “Such small matters can be arranged by you,” Luo Qiu nodded, then suddenly looked at Tai Yinzi, “By the way, Tai Yinzi, your opening line isn’t relatable, change it.”

Tai Yinzi hastened to say, “Master, please enlighten me!”

Boss Luo said, “Do you want… to truly live?”

Tai Yinzi… the entry-level guy was suddenly stunned, suddenly feeling like he had found a soulmate!

It turns out the master also has moments of dark humor…
