Chapter 2306: To the Land of Dreams Again II

”You are being risky with your questions, young mediator. Still, I will amuse you and answer. The Primordial Beasts do not dream as they do not need to do so. They are not beings that are confined to the concept of dreams.” The God of Dreams Morpheus stated.

”What if the are suddenly confined in mortal bodies that are programed from birth to dream?” Adrian asked which suddenly made the God of Dreams Morpheus incredibly curious.

The sudden follow up question sparked the curiosity of the God of Dreams Morpheus. If Adrian knew one thing to get the help of the God of Dreams Morpheus, then that is to insight his curiosity. Of the three brothers that are the child of the Goddess Nox, the God of Dreams Morpheus is the most curious as this personality trait sparks the best type of dreams in his realm.

”Interesting question. There have been so interesting changes happening in my realm as more nightmares are appearing. The nightmares are also invading the dreams of others which is why it is getting a bit problematic. The nightmares also take interesting forms that does relate to the Primordial Beasts of Sin.” The God of Dreams Morpheus stated.

”Is that so?! Then that means you can help me locate them.” Adrian stated but his dreamland suddenly trembled as if he offended the God of Dreams Morpheus.

”That is taboo, young mediator. You can heal in your dreams and even gain inspiration from them but one must not use the dreams to locate other people. If this happens then the barriers between my realm and the waking realm will shatter. Dreams and nightmares will manifest in the waking world which will be very catastrophic beyond measure.” The God of Dreams Morpheus stated in a serious tone.

”I see. I guess I overstepped my authority there. I apologize for my transgression.” Adrian stated.

”As long as you know the rules then I will not make a fuss about it. Still, I should at least reward you for helping me realize the source of the nightmares increasing in my domain. You may take these as a way to suppress violent nature of the Selvaggian Creation Relic.” The God of Dreams Morpheus stated as he gave Adrian something that looks like a cloud.ʼ

”Thank you.” Adrian stated as he graciously accepted the item.

”I trust that you will not use it for anything else but know that you will face my wrath if you do not use it wisely.” The God of Dreams Morpheus stated.

”I will only use it for calming the creation relic as I have promised.” Adrian stated.

”As long as you know the rules then everything will be fine. It is now time for me to go, young mediator. I thank you for having a good impact on the waking world as many started to dream better. It also provides me with good entertainment as even their nightmares about you are very good quality. Farewell and may the dreams be ever in your favor.” The God of Dreams Morpheus stated as he vanished.

[Do you wish to stop using the Sleepy Mask?]

”Yes.” Adrian replied and his consciousness faded to darkness.

[You have received the Cloud of Clarity, and it is transported to your inventory.]

”Oh! It is directly added to my inventory.” Adrian muttered as he checked.

Adrian immediately walked towards the Tree of Life and Death to hand over the items needed to upgrade the territory. The Tree of Life and Death told him that it will take care of the creation relic of the Selvaggians and the Cloud of Clarity while the territory has yet to fully integrate them. Adrian placed the all the upgrade materials directly in a special pocket space inside of the Tree of Life and Death.

Adrian thought that there would be no changes that will happen but there was. A chunk of earth from below the ground started to fly upwards to level against the other floating islands. A chain and small foot bridge could be seen being formed as well. A floating island ten times smaller than the others could be seen being added to Avalon. This sight made all the players in the territory clamor as another island was being added.

”I thought you said there would be no changes?” Adrian asked.

”I thought so as well but it seems that you are very favored by your Land Deity. It is the one diverting some of its own energy to create the floating island. It will be completed within two months or less which means that my initial timeline is still there. The blessings you will receive from creating another island will also be available only at that time only.

[Your territory, Avalon, has created a temporary floating island.]

[Your territory, Avalon, is now able to be chosen as a destination for players that choose the Selvaggian Race.]

[A portal that leads to the Wilde has been created in your temporary floating island.]

[This portal can only be used as a one-way entrance to the Wilde for players that start as Selvaggians in Avalon. This portal will only display its full capabilities once the temporary floating island becomes complete.]

”At least they can go to the Wilde without the aid of the other portals which should solve the way of getting some skills for them.” Adrian thought but a message sent to him by a close friend made his jaw drop.
