Chapter 2290: The Consequence Of Provoking Yu Qi

The nurses had their men snatched by Fung Meng Xuan before. So, they were quite satisfied with Fung Meng Xuanʼs outcome. Fung Meng Xuan woke up when the nurses were giggling as they looked at her.

”Oh, she wakes up.” Nurse number one noticed Fung Meng Xuanʼs awakening.

”I thought she would be in a coma.” Nurse number two said.

”Doctor Allen told us to go and call him after this woman wakes up. You go.” Nurse number one said.

”What? Why me?” Nurse number two rolled her eyes.

”Because you are the younger here.” Nurse number one smiled.

”Tsk. You old hag.” Nurse number two cursed while heading out.

Nurse number one glanced over at Fung Meng Xuan, who was probably asking for something, but she completely ignored Fung Meng Xuan. She reached for her hand and looked at it.

At this moment, Doctor Allen was presenting the X-ray result to Edward Potter.

”Mr Potter, look at this.” Doctor Allen said.

Edward Potter glanced over and asked. ”What is this?”

”This is Doctor Fungʼs X-ray result. This one showed her arm bone. It broke at an unexpected place. The area between the waist and the elbow. It would be hard for someone to break the bones there unless the person is very strong.” Doctor Allen said.

”Things happened.” Edward Potter did not think much about that.

”But the person who brought Doctor Fung over told me that the newcomer had done this to Doctor Fung. Meaning that the person was very strong.” Doctor Allen said.

”Newcomer?” Edward Potter reacted.

”And this one. This is at the kneecap area. The bone is stronger than the previous bone. However, the kneecap bone completely broke. Not facture or something like that. The newcomer did it.” Doctor Allen stated.

”What did you say? Completely broke?” Edward Potter would not believe that.

”Yes. Doctor Fung needs surgery to replace the kneecap. She will also need rehabilitation. A long one before she can walk normally again.” Doctor Allen said. ”By the way, who is this newcomer?”

Before Edward Potter answered, the Nurse Number Two came knocking, telling Doctor Allen that Fung Meng Xuan woke up. Doctor Allen excused himself and left.

Meanwhile Edward Potter also got out and heading to Yu Qiʼs room. He knocked on Yu Qiʼs door. The door swung open.

”What do you want right now?” Yu Qi asked when she saw Edward Potter.

”Do you do something to Fung Meng Xuan?” Edward Potter asked.

”Oh... She told you... Well, yes. I indeed did something to her. I broke her bones. And I donʼt regret that.” Yu Qi proudly informed Edward Potter.

”Why did you do that?” Edward Potter asked.

”Well, just think of us like an old enemy who just meet in this place.” Yu Qi said.

Yu Qi did not want to talk anymore, sihe sat to her sat and seated like she was meditation.

Edward Potter left after he did not get much from Yu Qi.

Hearing Yu Qi opened her eyes and smirkeOʻd. ʼSince you want to play, I will play with you.ʼ

Yu Qi had Aoi out. She told Aoi to go out and walk around this place. She also mapped the place. The map would be useful to her and other people, especially to Long Huiʼs people.

Doctor Allen returned to Fung Meng Xuanʼs side. The nurse who had just sat around when Doctor Allen was not there earlier stood up and pretended to be busy.

”Doctor Fung.” Doctor Allen called wanting to get some attention from Fung Meng Xuan.

Fung Meng Xuan opened her eyes. She was relieved to see Doctor Allen.

”How are you?” Doctor Allen asked.

”As you can check, I am here with my broken hand and leg.” Fung Meng Xuan said.

”Do you know who do this to you?” Doctor Allen already knew but he still wanted to heaoʻr about that from Fung Meng Xuan herself.

”That Tang Yu Qi!!! That bitch do that.” Fung Meng Xuan became angry as she thought about that.

She should not go and provoke Yu Qi.

”Can you tell me how she did to your hand in detail?” Doctor Allen said.

”She did it like she broke a stack of spaghetti.” Fung Meng Xuan said.

”You mean she holds your hand like this?” Doctor Allen demonstrated the action with nurse number two.

”Yes.” Fung Meng Xuan nodded.

Doctor Allen moved to her leg. ”Then, tell me how she did do with your kneecap.”

”She smacked it with her leg.” Fung Meng Xuan said.

”Doctor Allen, in able to injure someone like that, a person must have a powerful strength.” Doctor Allen stated.

”What? Do you think I am lying right now?” Fung Meng Xuanʼs anger flared up.

”No... No... That is not what I mean.” Doctor Allen shook his head.

Fung Meng Xuan calmed down. ”I am sorry.”

”I understand. Letʼs talk about your injury first. You need a surgery for your leg. It is to replace the kneecap bone which had been scattered. As for your hand, it would be standard to wear the cast. Let the bone heal freely.” Doctor Allen explained.

”What? Surgery?” Fung Meng Xuan was shocked.

”Yes. As I mentioned earlier, your kneecap bones were scattered. So you need some replacement for it.” Doctor Allen nodded. Then, he added. ”After that, you need a rehabilitation until you can walk normally again.”

Fung Meng Xuan was shocked. She did not know what to respond.
