Chapter 2222: Chapter 2222: Explain Everything To Feng Yue

”He came and talked with me. So, I asked him about you. He seemed startled at first. Then, he said in a low voice that you are not there. But at home.” Feng Yue stated.

Then, she looked directly at Yu Qi. ”Yu Qi, is there something that happened to you? I was curious as to why the nurse refused to tell me about you. And the way your second brother behaved is kind of suspicious. He acted like no one could not know what happened to you.”

Yu Qi smiled. ”Letʼs go to the garden. I will tell you about that.”

She spotted a maid and asked her to bring some tea and refreshments to the garden. The maid nodded and went to prepare it while the two girls walked to the garden.

In the garden, Feng Yue and Yu Qi saw Grandpa Tang, whose hand was full of soil.

”Grandpa Tang, I come to visit.” Feng Yue greeted Grandpa Tang.

”Hmm... How are you?” Grandpa Tang asked.

”I am great. Grandpa Tang, you are still looking awesome.” Feng Yue praised Grandpa Tang.

Grandpa Tang laughed. ”How is your grandfather?”

”Well... He is still busy with his work. You know our situation. He did not want his hard work destroyed by his son. So, he is planning to work for a few years before I step in to take over.” Feng Yue sighed.

”Then, you better work hard.” Grandpa Tang said.

”Of course.” Feng Yue nodded.

”Fine... Fine... You girls must have a lot to talk about. Go... Go...” Grandpa Tang waved his hands several times.

Yu Qi and Feng Yue went to sit at the gazebo. The next moment, the maid came over and brought the tea and refreshments that Yu Qi had requested earlier.

”Thank you.” Yu Qi thanked the maid.

”Enjoy it, Miss Yu Qi.” The maid said before leaving the place.

”So, tell me. What is going on with you?” Feng Yue asked.

”The car accident... It was for set up.” Yu Qi stated.

”Set up? For what?” Feng Yue was confused.

”A set up for attempted kidnapping.” Yu Qi said.

Yu Qi could see the change of expression on Feng Yueʼs face. Feng Yue slowly put the puzzle together in her head.

”Yu Qi... Is it really the truth?” Feng Yue wanted to confirm it.

”Yes...” Yu Qi nodded.

Everything that Feng Yue got from the internet, which did not make sense earlier, became clear to her. No wonder Yu Qi was not sent to Moxi Hospital, which is the nearest hospital to the place where the car accident happened. No wonder Yu Qi was being brought to Tang Private Hospital which was more secure and safe for her.

”You told me that since they could not kidnap you during the car accident, they attempted to kidnap you at the Moxi Hospital?” Feng Yue asked again.

”Well... I got a wind about that. They really plan to kidnap me while I am getting the treatment. But all of those plans were ruined because I insisted on going to my familyʼs hospital.” Yu Qi smirked.

”Why? Why do they have to kidnap you?” Feng Yue was curious about the motive.

”Because I am a genius.” Yu Qi said.

Feng Yue smacked Yu Qiʼs shoulder. ”I am serious.”

”My dear, I am telling you the truth. They want me because of my talent.” Yu Qi rubbed the place that Feng Yue smacked earlier.

”I donʼt understand.” Feng Yue shook her head.

”The one who wants to kidnap me is the organization that conducted many experiments. They saw potential inside me.” Yu Qi stated.

”Experiment? Thatʼs kind of normal.” Feng Yue said.

”What if I told you that they were experimenting were humans?” Yu Qi said.

Feng Yue, who was drinking some tea at that time, sprayed out the tea. Yu Qi managed to avoid it. Feng Yue coughed several times. She choked earlier.

”Are you kidding me?” Feng Yue asked.

”Do you think I am joking?” Yu Qi raised her eyebrow.

”You...You... You are serious?” Feng Yue was shocked.

”Yes.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Shit... I can not believe my hearing. Something like this really existed.” Feng Yue said. ”So, you are hiding here.”

”I think they already guess that I am here. But they could not come and take me away.” Yu Qi said.

”They must be flustered.” Feng Yue smirked.

”Probably.” Yu Qi also smirked.

What Yu Qi said was right. The leader of those kidnappers had been scolded by his superior.

”You tell me that the plan will be successful. But now what? You did not even bring the girl back. And now, you almost have to expose our identity to the media. Luckily, we managed to wrap things up. Otherwise, you and I might get arrested, and it would be over to two of them.” The superior scolded the leader.

The leader did not say anything accepting all of the blame. Everything already happened.

”Go back. Another person would replace you later.” The superior ordered.

The leader nodded. He knew that he made a mistake. Even if he protested, he knew that it would be useless. It was better to follow their orders.

Back to Yu Qi and Feng Yue, they were still talking. Right now, the topic already changed to something else.

”Did your boyfriend know that you are here?” Yu Qi asked.

Feng Yue froze for a moment.
